Thankfully most of the guide still applies lol. M Dash punch being 0 on block, st.h more for pressure, unheld armor is better. Other than that, gameplan is pretty similar. There are some more advance stuff like 22M combos in corner, and SSBA kick wall bouncing but these are more advanced.
Yo, thanks for this guide! Soriz was a character I was super excited for, but when he came out he just didn't make sense to me and I was too busy/lazy to figure it out. I wasn't sure what the game wanted me to be doing with him, but watching this video really made it click. I've started playing him as a secondary to Zooey and it's a blast. Even when I'm losing it's just fun to to figure stuff out with him and how to overcome difficult situations against more conventionally strong characters.
I had to sub. I am thinking of making him my main dude. Him or Lancelot. But more than likely him. I am ok in parries and Counters as I play games that have those types of characters. So even on jumping in or catching you unexpected I can get that. I played a lot of games with that stuff. Like HIT for mobile The Final Fantasy battle things (forgot name) in which I use the original Final Fantasy guy and counter play with him while being aggressive. Just have to practice a bit again. But definitely love seeing this guy so far. 😋 Edit: Definitely love his style in the pawnch! Not so fond on the sumo gear. 😅 Edit 2: I am going to test a lot myself. So I know I will be getting destroyed a lot in the beginning. But using it as a learning experience. I would still need to learn everything afterall.
He's pretty similar actually! Might make another video but might be for how changes effect him/cool stuff you can be doing now. But the TL;DR version is - use more M dash punch, can get conversions off 22a/22b in corner, install kick wall bounces and 2h way better

Soriz recently got buffed in the mobile game. Hopefully GBVS follows suit :)
My theory is that the balance of GBVS follows the mobile game balance, so I think GBVS will follow :)
