Man oh man, Great work Jay on figuring out running vs non running functionality. Interesting stuff, tasteful choices by the owner 100%
Be sure to see how we upgrade it as we launch the next video in the series this coming week, thanks for watching!
You rock Jay! What an amazing video...Thank You Thank You for this important information...I am glued to the screen waiting to see the upgrade...
I'm liking that color
It was a Beautiful bike! Thanks for watching
Great job Jay. Keep them coming! God Bless!!✌️😇👍
Thank you Ken!
Thank you very much for all the hard work I enjoy the videos. Unfortunately I am a disappointed Harley Davidson owner going on two bikes within 3 years both of them were brand new with complete disappointments of mechanical failures and having to upgrade a radio out of necessity not for the performance.
Nice I learned about..... Now I'm interested in seeing the new install that you're going to do on that bike because I'm in that same boat I want to get all that crap out of my bike and something that sounds a lot better
Next week
Do you realize that Rockford Fosgate has an application where you can Bluetooth to the app and actually has its own EQ 11 band I believe? Which makes it very much adjustable.
This only exists on some systems this bike did not have this option factory
Love the show, I have a question for you - What do you think about the Rockford Fosgate HD14RGSG-STAGE3 Harley Davidson - I have a 2022 road Glide Special and was going to upgrade to this kit. I currently have the factory 2 speaker set up in which consists of the following: Boom! Box GTS with (2) 5.25 inch standard at 25 watts per channel. Also, is this HD14RGSG kit I'm posting about the same set up that's on that CVO? Thanks, will continue to tune in.
We currently upgrade more bikes now that have the Rockford system you mention than stock, customers say the Rockford system is not loud enough and not clear enough at highway speeds, we have much better systems from precision power and hertz than the Rockford system you mention and our systems are completely plug n play, our amp goes on the fairing which is a much better location than a rear bag like Rockford does. Also our warranties are better too
can you please try a delible reader sense its hard to judge the sound
Decibel readers can be easily deceiving, all you have to do is adjust the mic gain to show larger numbers
Would the 6x9 adapter from a 5x7 cutout decrease the sound of a 6x9 size speaker in a saddlebag lid?
Not at all in our experience
I always thought the radio changed its setting when the bike was running. Anyone at Harley would say it was because the exhaust noise drown out the bass. Harley radios are complete garbage for what they cost. Go Soundstream, the music will sound amazing if the bike is running or not.
Thank you
I have a Sony 7000 and the Rockford Fosgate front speaker and amp not happy right now what do you suggest I do
Call us to discuss options @ 1-844-30AUDIO
You can adjust EQ with app
Doesn’t help much
Still, if you’re going to present yourself as an expert you should give all the information available. Bluetooth dongle and app were available since the amp kit was offered. And no EQ controls and having them is a big difference and even your review of speakers were little off. You said they are not marked for ohm and rms and they are and in case you need the info the stage 2 speakers are 2 ohm at 75 rms and 150 peak. Just give all the facts. Believe me many of people are gonna want more then 4x75 watts so no need to hide em
@@lpem80something nothing was hid and yes we tested and they are 2ohm, not all hd audio by Rockford systems had the app dongle included, this bike did not have it but it was also the first year that the cvo had hd audio by Rockford
I jist have the satge 2 speakers and the saddle bag amp.. i dont want rear speakers. Which speakers should I fit, drop in, from your range to give me more volume and a better sound. wpuld a port in the roadglide speaker box help with bass.
You will never get significant bass from front speakers alone, our hertz sx165neo are a great speaker that will give you more volume and clarity
Are you going to be able to use the RF wiring harness for the upgrades on the rear speakers?
Also ur ground and hot wires … remote for the amp , so forth
I’ll have a step by step video posted this coming week on the upgrade, we are relocating the new amp to the fairing
@@volunteeraudio thx man
I am told that Rockford Fosgate by Harley has a app that lets you adjust the radio. I bought my radio from you, but I have a friend that has the stock Harley radio and put it Rockford Fosgate in it. It’s not happy he’ll probably be I will probably be reaching out to you, but do you know anything about the app for tuning on the Rockford Fosgate amp through the radio or through Bluetooth app?
If the wireless adapter is installed some hd audio by Rockford have an app to adjust eq, you can make it a little better but it does not preform miracles
Can someone tell me why all of a sudden my speakers on a 2020 Street glide started acting up the one on the right side of the fairing and the two in the saddle bags want do nothing on low volume and all they do is popping crack on high volume The one speaker on the left fairing place just perfect
Do you have the hd audio by Rockford system?
@@volunteeraudio yes
I believe I have stage 1 RF speakers system on my 16 Road glide 4 speakers 2 in bags and 2 in front do I need a new amp and also do I need to reflash if I swap my radio and get the neo speakers
I would flash the radio, and properly set the amp at the least when replacing the speakers with hertz neo, I would urge you to get a plug n play amp from us already setup, both the precision power 800 watt amp or hertz sp4.900 2000 watt amp are far better than your Rockford amp, plus you can sell your Rockford kit to someone to recoup some money
Jay: what is that little monitor on the left side of the handle bars?
That is the iRide air ride controller by thunder max
This sytem came on my bile and I swapped the fronts to Precision power speakers and it actually got worse. I can't raise the volume nearly as high as with the RF speakers. Why would that be?
Did you upgrade the amplifier?
Have any old one I can try worken to save up for a basic system setup
No we always return equipment to the owner of the motorcycle
Do you have any replacement saddlebag speakers for the boom stage II. You know plug and play, I don’t want to change the system just the speakers
As far as I know there are no bi amp connectable, plug n play 5x7 replacements for boom audio stage 2, the issue is trying to get a 5x7 to not blow with the eq bass curve used factory, the infinity 900x with proper adapters is the closest replacement and is not plug n play and does require the adapter to go up to its 6x9 size
@@volunteeraudio I don’t mind going to a 6x9, I just want to keep the stage II & harnesses on.

What exhaust is that’s does anybody know?
Not sure
I added the HD Rockford stage II and it's crap. This is spot on about the sound from not running to running. What a total disappointment and waste of 2200.00 $ ..
What year bike did u add it do the earlier model radios before the gts that can take it require the radio flashed to sound right the Rockford system when added to the gts change the radio flash when the system communicates with the Rockford amp
@@ricklabreche7893 installed on a 2020 Road Glide Limited... gts, flash not needed..
@@roadrunner3866 2022 up do not require flash just update. before that even the gts needed a flash
