Great review and subbed, I just bought one as well. The price is actually insane for what you get. Also one thing to mention is that it has free shipping and a 10$ pre order coupon. I am from Europe and that is huge. This was 71€ including shipping, a Monsgeek M1W would be over 170€ with shipping included, massive difference.
I'm from Vietnam, we can get one 41$ including shipping, huge difference. 41$. p/s: buy in the store ưith that price, if pre order only take 33$ but a month to wait.
Just waned to thank you again for this review. I bought this keeb and I'm loving it. Just added tape mod and replaced the stabs to TX stabs and it sounds so nice. For my ohrer keyboards I use Lubed Oil Kings and Baby Raccoons so I'm really suprised to find out that I actually dig the crispy sounds of those Outemu switches, and they feel smooth and nice. Very happy with this board so far. The only thing that doesn't work great is macro.
Hi just noticed your comment here. Can I ask about the stabs you used. Is it TX clip in stabs? If yes, what mm of pole did you use for this keyboard? Thanks a lot in advance!
Did you try removing the gaskets from the mounting near the spacebar to try to get some more sound from the spacebar? A common issue with these cheaper metal case keebs seems to be that the mount for the plate next to the spacebar really dulls the sound of the spacebar and in this case, it really does mute that spacebar sound a little. I know some folks have gone all the way to cutting the plate so there's no interference from hitting the case since that plate mounting point generally isn't necessary.
i would love to hear a no foam/forcebreak only sound test (unless thats too much work). Amazing value on this keyboard tho, it kinda sounds like a qk board with full foam lol
The monsgeek m1 is the perfect keyboard for me with the only problem being that it isn’t wireless which is a dealbreaker. So please bring that video you teased out(or tell me what your talking about now).
Hiii! I’m debating if I should get this or the cidoo v65 (lay out is not an issue btw) they’re almost the same in terms of price but not sure about the quality/ sound. Which one do you think is better? 😩
have you tried any of the other xinmeng switches? im looking at the M71 because it comes in a red flavor but i dont recognise any of the switches besides the outemu whites
Anyone that has gotten this keyboard on hand, what size of screw needed to open this keyboard? I've been trying many sizes but none of it seems to be working. I only got 2 of 6 screws off, the other ones doesn't seem to grip onto the screw I'm using, thus making it doesnt move at all.
@@Merkeebslol I've been trying to figure this out cause I ordered WS Morandi switches to go with it forgetting that this is a factor with cheaper builds
I've seen complaints about anodization mismatch from top and bottom of case halves. Not supporting plate mount stabs seens like a really stupid thing om there part. I also really dislike the white plate foam. I know that sounds stupid but I can see ot theough the keycap gaps on many of the reviews of this board and if you aren't doing a light color build it really stands out IMO.
Hey I've watched your vids on the gateron root beer floats and the gateron baby kangaroos. Would you be able to recommend which one I should get? For context I like the akko lavender purples and akko v3 cream blue pros. I like the boba U4T but they're a bit too heavy for me.
I'm doing a review right now on the Akko V3 Lavender Purple Pro switches and can definitely say they're an improvement on the original CS ones. If budget isn't a concern, the Gateron Root Beer floats are absolutely fantastic. And if the tactility is too strong for you, lubing the legs on them can turn them from sharp tactile to a lighter bump that's comparable to the Cream Blue Pros while having a different sound signature.
Haha yeah I've noticed that in the last couple of videos I did. I have my camera on an Elgato arm that's clamped to my desk, so when I type it shakes the whole rig. Though I've since figured out a good angle I can use from a tripod away from my desk so hopefully no more shakey typing in upcoming videos.
Can it add function underneath the nav cluster? Since most of the Chinese board use the RK/Monsgeek/Akko or Zouya/James Donkey solfware and they can't change some keys because it binds to led/Bluetooth functions
Regardless of barebone availability, it's hard to beat the value of this board especially since it comes with a full set of keycaps, lubed stabs, and switches at less than the cost of a barebones Monsgeek M1.
The nav cluster is such a terrible layout. Looks like they just went with what caps fitted where on the cheap caps they had. That is what totally puts me off on the board. It has no logic on what is where in the cluster.
I'm just gonna chime in here DON'T BUY THIS KEYBOARD! If you have even the slightest amount of static electricity, these keyboards will get completely fried. I'm not sure if this is all keyboards with metal cases, or just this one, but I've now fried 2 of these exact keyboards from a small amount of static electricity. Sad, because everything else about the keyboard is great!
After watching your review, I went ahead and ordered one using your link! The sound quality blew me away considering this is only $90.

Got this for about 85$ shipped to Canada with xvx Christmas sale, can't wait to get it
How does this sound so amazing stock at below $100 wtf.
xvx is stepping up forward !!! Great one
That's for sure. They really put out a banger board that has so much modding potential and can even be used out of the box just fine.
Should I get this or a performance keyboard like the huntsman mini?
So the Yunzii Al71 and Sk71 are basically the the same except some superficial differences?
really like this keeb for sound & colorway, going to my wishlist for next month. Btw what brand of deskmat did you use during the scene sound test?
Keyboard sounds amazing. I just bought the WK61.
How is it's PCB's quality? is it cheap or will be good for couple of years?
Wow the sounds is sooo good. Is this switch different from outemu white "silent" switch?
That sounds so great!
Great review, there is also a new 65% xinmeng keeb idk but the back somehow looks like Mr.suit it's A66.
Great video, thank you!
Which syringe lube did you use?
Seems good board for square badge or any square accessory with 2 remaining keys left for more flexibilty. Like me I need the delete and print screen.
😅😅😅

Sounds doable. I'll give it a shot once I get a bit of free time 😁

I tried it. The case is too tight to make any difference. But the TAPE MOD does make a difference
@@NathanGudBoii with the tape mod, how does the keyboard sound?
@@jdawg206A the original sound profile is a bit high pitch, more on the clacky side
With tape mod, it reduces the pitch making it more thocky
how much does the keyboard weigh? is it hefty? how does this compare to the monsgeek (sound, case, weight etc)?
stock sounds super crispy
like ice
Thanks for the video. This board looks identical (I think) to the Yunzii AL71. Any idea if they are related in any way?
Pretty sure it's the same board. All these brands just take the same manufactured board and repackage it with a slapped on different name.
hey my keyboard arrived a couple of days ago and was wondering if yours came with just a thin layer of foam above the entire pcb
Hey merk! Hope you still read and reply to this. What screw is used to open the keyboard, can't seem to find the right screw. Thank you!

I got the M1W barebones as soon as it came out and have no regrets, good quality build and BT connections are solid. Sounds good, too!

The stock switches should fit cerakey caps no problem :)
question because its wireless do u need to charge it?
I noticed some of them got flex cuts pcb and some of them are not, how do i choose? I want the non flex cut pcb version
Hey, do you have any affordable mouse/mice options? Maybe around 60-75$

What’s the 75% alternative to this, i have it and it’s brilliant but i need the extra keys
Only pre order? Any information when it will ship because it’s not on their page

Just lowkey imagining if they would also offer different plate options - nonetheless it's a solid choice for a "65%" Alu budget size...
I am lowkey curious to hear how this board would sound with a proper aluminum plate.
Would probably sound amazing haha.
what screw you need to open this keyboard
Nice vid mate
Can you review also the leobog hi 75 its also one of the cheapest aluminum keyboards outthere

how to enable the keyboard in wireless 2.4 mode?

Does the pcb support all switches or are you only able to swap them for akko/otemu? (I am very new to keyboards so sorry if this is a dumb question)
