As always another excellent video 🙏. I got the Vision Pro on release date along with a few expensive accessories, and every day I am having doubts wether to return them or not. I'm certain by the time I come to a decision it will be after the 14 day return period. Excellent device with a few flews.
This product is awesome. I just wish Apple could have gotten it to like $2500. $3699 is extremely high but I understand compared to the industry it’s excellent value for what they’re offering. Working from home and traveling often I find this would be extremely valuable to me.
I can already imagine many scenarios where version 2 or 3 of this will augment or replace my iPhone and potentially my Apple Watch. So while this device may be worth it to some few people now, it doesn't solve any problems for me in this current form.
Another great video! I will indeed book a demo when it arrives in the UK and while I don't normally go for the first generation of any device this is probably the device that has tempted me the most and not sure I'll be able to hold out until the 2nd or 3rd generation like I do with other devices!
if you mirror the MacBook screen, does the MacBook have to be open? I guess on a train/plane that's ok, because you still need a keyboard. But at home I would like to move my screen around the house.
I don't think a compelling reason is to watch movies because you know in just a little bit of time they will release a watered down version of this, probably still 4K, possibly not OLED but without the eyes in front, skimming of feature set and it will be much cheaper than $4,000 USD and get you nearly the same experience. I think it's important to keep this in mind before prematurely jumping on THIS device when something will come out that will satisfy that same itch for a much better value.
Stephen - I see you wear glasses, as do I. How would I do the demo in the store without wearing my glasses? Do you have the Zeiss optical inserts so you can see things clearly for your own personal one that you purchased?
But are there things in it like the apps where you can talk to each other, like people you don't know? I like VTime bc there are lots of different locations, but for some reasons, not a lot of people!
👍👍video, Public beta ($4000 cash to blow) & developer device to further the tech & software for future hardware generations that will get smaller lighter more useful & cheaper, waiting to see where this & ai combined will be in few years now that Apples in the game
You have to try it for yourself because nobody can tell you if you should buy something! Your likes and dislikes may be different and your experience may be different
In my mid 20s, apple fanboy lowkeyhighkey. But I have set up many android phones for family members as the family electrician/iT manager.. I had the vision pro in my cart for preorder. One cick away from ordering it. I didnt. I decided to buy a meta quest 3 instead. And its the best decision. Heres why: - I have an m1pro 14 inch I bought under 2 years ago (and I love it) - around that time, I bought my first legit tv QLED (not oled but still legit) - upgraded to 15pro from 11 pro in october (needed for work, 11pro still great tbh) - quest 3 for casual gaming has been SO fun. Anddd, youtube watching is GREAT. Not amazing ofc its not oled but I never said “I really wish this was oled” while watching youtube with a headset on.. and finally… - 1/7th of the price. 500$ ITS INSANE
I totaly understand buying a vision pro now.. like I said I was one click away from getting one. I still want one. But I think I would rather bet $1,000 and have an INSANE superbowl sunday w the boys and see if you can win big. 😂😂(gamble responsibly!)
@@beardfm so Im not sure if id watch a movie with the quest 3… youtube yeah, movie, eh. If I didnt purchase a tv and macbook “recently” vision pro is the move.. also.. a nice new tv is great for when family and friends come over for sports, babysitting kids, movie nights. Especially date night! Def recommend trying a quest 3 if you never used vr before. Population:one is a very fun game actually. thanks for the video!

Thank you, and if I wasn’t making videos about it I would be hard pressed to keep it…
It's been 5 days. What did you decide?

The bill of materials is $1550.
I'm excited to see the evolution of this product over the years such as weight reduction, slimmer profile, and even becoming wireless.
Thanks for the vid - good points. I hope Apple adds a "pause" gesture for eye tracking - so you can look around without selecting everything.
Oh that would be nice
Not sure why I have so much eye strain with the AVP. I have the Zeis reader inserts to
The best coverage of the Vision Pro by far. Thanks, SR! from Singapore
Great video with lots of helpful information.
You can change settings to use your head you don’t have to use your eyes if you don’t want to

You're right, *most* people should wait for versions 2, 3 or later

Appreciate it! And I'm hoping we see it launch in more countries even before WWDC

Appreciate it!
Thanks for sharing. Blessings on your day!
I feel more comfortable buying an iPad Pro than Apple Vision Pro. I can’t wait for the OLED iPad Pro 😉
Oh I'm *very* excited for OLED iPads...

They put your glasses in a machine to read the prescription and have ZEISS inserts in-store for most to use!
@@beardfm - I am so glad you told me this. I did just that earlier today and it went great!

There's no "metaverse" or other experiences where you can interact with strangers just yet
Can you connect stereo homepods to vision pro? Thanks ❤
Nah, can't AirPlay
It's strange, thank you!@@beardfm
Yes
For coders avp worth?
No shot , just a get an extra monitor...u all set.
Remember that Apple offers installments to buy it. That’s important!

I need to spend a little time with the Quest 3. If the movie watching experience is anywhere close, I'd say that's a very reasonable alternative.

It’s for the rich and those who would even buy the apple cloth…
This Apple product is not for me. Cool technology but no great or cool application of it
Dips on first comment.
This is the best review of the Apple Vision Pro I've come across... GREAT JOB.
Really appreciate that 🙏🏻
