if you want to apply a continuous current (actual DC) to your charge, you'll have to increase the number of the conductors. The higher the number, you'll get a more continuous current (and EMF)

from 4:11 forget the video just in AC generator you are taking advantage of full circle which means the direction is changing but in DC generators you are using half a circle to just get one direction of the electric current
theSyrianhuman So what I don't get is why we're saying in AC that the sides of the coil are being flipped which makes waves appear to go maximum and minimum. The same thing happens in DC, just the current cuts off because of the split ring. Does that mean the oscilloscope doesn't register the entire turn? Or does it, like(if this makes sense), once the current cuts off, the whole thing kind of resets and considers? And besides, what's the point of using a DC or AC current? What's the advantage of one over the other in generators or motors?

Nafisa Tabassum I think you need to have sit-down with your doctor, he'll explain it to you better.
googleccd079 If you're trying to be sarcastic, at least be relevant. Try correct grammar because you're comment makes no sense whatsoever

what happens if dont connet the load in this circuit..??
Whats with the pausing in between sentences?
Time to understand
Good
Why current does not changed its direction?
Good demos, my students love it .

The current flow directions shown in the moving coil are wrong. It will be once A>B and then after 180 degree turn it will be B>A.
Thank you sir

Rotate in clockwise or anticlockwise?
good and very easy to learn
Where is the mechanical work that goes into turning the loop?
Kevin Monroe this mechanical input to the armature is been provided by the help of the DC motor
Good explanation . Thanks !
How can you check a AVR if it's not working
Well explained....i like it
still dont get how the commutator swaps it?
good explanation

I LIKE
This is confusing. It seems like he's describing an electric DC motor, not a generator.
Kevin Monroe They are similar.
+Parama Roy
I have a doubt. At what position is emf isnt generated, that when the coil is parallel to the magnet or to the flux lines.
Help Please...
+Vin R Because when the coil is parallel to the magnet its perpendicular to the flux lines and vice versa. Anyone help highly appreciated.
