I'll give it a try. On some other popular builders, the mobile layout ends up affecting the desktop layout, so this looks better and easier.

Thanks for the tutorial. I am working on creating a web site for an ecommerce brand. I am already overwhelmed with all the features because I am not used to web designing but I am beginning to get use to the grace that WordPress brings with spectra.

Hi, I'm wondering why i don't have a "Presets" under General when I select my "Call to action" block? I only see Layout, Button and Additional Button.

However, my website isn't displaying but showing this error when I click on preview error, "Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function astra_html_before()"...how can I fix it pls?
My site is working well with the Astra theme. Does changing to Spectra could break it?
It looks great, no doubt, but as I understand you can build "static" pages, cool one, cool way... But, when I need, for example on "landing/home" section: News... From template I expect, I set the formating, theme, for example that last 3 topics should be shown... And, have, for example "form" for specific user, where he create new "News", upload pics, write description... and save this new "post"...
And, because of "template" on home page last 3 posts are shown, don't need to again edit the main/home page, add "News", remove old ones.... It's "just appear, based of defined formating...

Does Spectra function with Elementor?
Does Spectra have infinite scroll feature? Or are you planning to add this feature?
For a magazine style site, would you use Spectra One or Astra with the Spectra builder? Also, for the front page I was planning to use the PostX plug-in which is also Gutenberg-based (lifetime deal on Appsumo right now). Is this a good solution - or does Spectra have similar features so I wouldn’t even need PostX?
Both could work well, but at this point Spectra One is still new so if you need more options right now, Astra would be a good choice :)
Do Spectra has some reseller on Brazil ?

Spectra is built on top of the WordPress Core Editor, so technically you could build a property management website.
Spectra Pro and the Dynamic Data extension may suit your need and you would also need something like ACF or similar.
Where is the header of the page you made with Spectra?
I would like to purchase Spectra Blocks, I would like to know if there is any discount coupon for Brazilian users, after all the conversion is very high for us here in Brazil to purchase Spectra Blocks, compared to Elementor Pro.

Hi, I purchased the pro version of Astra and am trying to use Spectra, which was successfully installed and activated. When I click on the Add New Page button, I see Design Library at the top, not Template Kits, as the video shows as 10:26. Can you explain where the problem is? Thanks.

When i edited the mobile view, it affected the tab and desktop view.
I was asked to switch on responsive mode in the settings of the plugin but i didn't see any setting like that.

How can I get the old view of Spectra? Because all of these tutorials are obsolete for the user today... It's all in different places.
@10:26 you have the "eye" icon to hide the title. Fresh install here and there is no "eye" icon from what I can see. I'm using Firefox build 116.0.2 on Windows 10 64bit. Any idea why this icon is absent?

This is actually theme-specific (Astra in this case), not part of the Spectra plugin itself.
I used to work with Elementor, but I think Spectra much lighter and faster, I have recently started to work with it.
My question is Does the Spectra have the header and footer builder, like Elementor?
Not a dedicated header and footer builder but you can use a theme like Astra to build a perfectly compatible header and footer.
I've been fighting with spectra for hours trying to get my header right. The system is unwieldy, unintuitive, and the help videos spend half the playtime talking about how great spectra is without actually telling you how to use it. It's a frustrating product and I absolutely do not recommend it.
we all want something like elementor that works on wordpress editor (gutenberg) so we will have more stability and speed , no body has not done it yet not even spectra

Spectra and Elementor can be installed and stay together on a website but they work separately.
Elementor works on its own page builder while Spectra works on default WordPress editor.

How do I make more pages with Spectra? If I add a new page, that will be completely blank. I expected it to use the theme as a base for all pages. How does that work? Squarespace was so much simpler than this...
If you don't want to start from scratch, there are 2 options:
- use a starter template that comes with all pages pre-built
- use templates on a page per page basis

Spectra is free, comes with a ton of value and you can definitely build a full websites with it (tip: combine it with Starter Templates). If you need more features like dynamic content for example Spectra Pro is a premium product.
ok i get it, its really good but can i create single woocomerce product page? or archive? can i create any custom content page ? can i create custom product loop for woocomerce archive? i dont think so..... make it better than elementor then i will be a reall fan

So, it's very cool, but static web page builder, as I understand... Also, even presentation is perfect, I don't find, or understund how to really start... yes, I sow many features... But I really don't find something like: start create your page, create new page, edit the content... activate... and woila, you can see your created page...

Nice video, but I've found Spectra to be a super slow and buggy web builder that makes building websites so frustrating. I've been through forums and just find more people complaining about issues and slowness. When you're trying to increase productivity with these tools, the last thing you want is to be slowed down by having to redo simple things and having to wait for the tool to catch up with you on each operation. So, it's a bit immature and still a work in progress in my experience.
Yeah, no way I'm moving from Beaver Builder to this, looks like its years behind. No idea why they created this when they already had good integration with Beaver.

Nope im totally lost, what im seeing your examples is not the same as what im seeing. Two days im no futher on thatn when I turned wordpress on. I had no idea it was so difficult to build a simple site.
Sorry to hear that. The various components of WordPress (core, plugins, themes) are constantly updated so depending on when you watch the video it may look different.
What do you struggle most with when it comes to building a simple site?

why spectra auto install with the template? We don't have options to not to work with. Please don't do like that. Its not even work properly.

Yeah everyone has an opinion. First off i dont wanna be messing around with spotify or a radio while watching tutorials. But i also dont wanna see a video with no background noise at all thats just boring and makes for a bad video. This is a youtube problem, youtube should have the option of muting the soundtrack as music is usally a seperate audio track anyway and im sure it could detect that. As for the other guy… no, having the guy pop in and out of the video as scenes or down in the corner is a good thing. Again just a newb level content creator or a work safety video would be the youtube tutorial with only voice and screen capture, that would make for the most boring video and the creator here definitely knows how to make an engaging tutorial video. Thanks man.
