I am an animal rescuer here in the Philippines (mom of 3 humans, 19 dogs, 2 cats and 11 reptiles) and I really love Butter's story and how grateful I am that you gave her a beautiful life. Not all aspins get the same fate. They are discriminated here. It's sad that when I try to look for adopters for my rescued dogs, no one wants them because they are "JUST ASPINS". They have no idea how sweet, smart, loving and amazing they are. I'd always say that I actually didn't rescue my rescued animals, instead, they rescued me. My life had a greater purpose.

She is just like my boy Sandy who walked into our home and choose us to be his forever family. He too was fawn and looked exactly like butter. At the time I also had a beautiful French beauceron .and she and Sandy were inseparable. I had them for 14 yrs. Sandy died at the age of 12yrs and Rexie passed away two years later.RIP my sweet friends. It's been seven years now and I am still not ready for another dog 🐶. I just don't want to forget them ☺

I am an animal lover. What you did for Butter is the sweetest thing. You two are as one. My dog Tom (mixed breed: Tibetan spaniel/Fox terrier)and I are as well. Tom is getting old(17 years) and is slowly falling apart: almost blind, deaf, arthritic, but I do so love him. I wheel him around in a baby's pram and he looks so cute as he observes the world from his position in the pram. He gets out to do what dogs have to do, then back in again and off we go. You probably think you have reached the height of love for Butter that you can, but you will continue to just love that wee girl even more. We live in New Zealand.

I contacted one of the TH-camrs based in the Philippines and sent him money to buy Merrell trekking shoes for his Filipino tour guide. I saw the guide wearing only flip flops while watching one of his mountain climbing vlogs.
