That was a Carl's Jr veggie egg, and veggie bacon, and veggie pancakes, and veggie potato gems - sorry, potato gems. In South Australia they've just banned single use plastics so we now use veggie cutlery
Greg, What I do is Make a hole in the middle of the pancakes and put the syrup in there, that way the cakes absorb all the syrup! AND the Tater Tots Need Salt and Ketchup!

That is definitely American bacon, although it's thinner. Even in the USA, cheap bacon is thicker than that, although often even fattier than the bacon paper in this video.

Even here in the States. Carl’s Jr/ Hardee’s is not the place for bacon. You could read the Lord’s Prayer through it. We go there for the southern style breakfast. Biscuits and sausage gravy. The spicier the better. If you want real bacon. Local mom and pop joints are the best in my little neck of the woods. Thick and cooked to perfection. Thanks for the vids Greggo. Fast food bacon and breakfast is trash in general, well in america at least lol. It's microwaved in tubs and pre-cooked. No idea about australia, but UK bacon seems more like ham to me since it's from more near the loin rather than the belly. Good american thick cut bacon for me all day since the fat is just more flavor/crispness.

Now we are getting trickles of cases. Poor South Aus had to get put into hard lockdown this week as a family cluster case went bonkers up to 17 people infected. But they are only locked up for two weeks unlike us in VIC who were for over 100 days!
My local coffer shop does an early bird eg, bacon and toast deal with a standard sized coffee for $6.99. If you order before 7AM. You can have the egg scrambled , poached or fried. And sit at a table and relax. I don't like those fatty pancakes smothered in butter and synthetic maple syrup. A diabetes meal .So American .No wonder so many Americans are morbidly obese. Why would you go for that fast food rubbish? It looked terrible. Support a local small business Greg. There are plenty of coffee shops on the Goldie.
