This bike has a great overall stance and profile. The frame/fork geometry is tight and right. The fork isn't crazy-long. I don't believe in running forks longer than 6 over. That GMA caliper setup on the rear looks clean, but I'd also run a great-functioning and clean-looking front brake. Those alternator (left) generator (right) crankcases are the way to go. Those STD dual-plugged Pan heads are the best. Three-bolt mounts for exhaust headers are far better than the original slip on and clamp factory setup. Exhaust valves don't like cold air from leaky exhaust header mountings. Those short-spigot cocktail shaker mufflers sound and look great. Overall, this bike is a hit! Hopefully, the rain will stop soon and that sweet California sunshine will beam once again. Build right. Ride safe.
Hahah yah I actually have a big exhaust fan hooked into the roof for when I run bikes but if I turn it on during a video it will just ruin the sound quality. Thanks for watching!
Killer looking scooter...been looking at an s&s generator style shovel but I've heard the quality is a hit or miss gamble . maybe someone who has or had one could share their experiences on s&s engines ...?
I have always had good luck with S&S stuff they make nice engines. VTwinn I wouldn't really trust though unless your going to tear it apart as soon as you get it hah. Never had a bad s&s in the shop this far. Thanks!
Im not sure what the bike actually sold for, I just got it dropped off to me and started modifying. The prices right now are all over the place so its hard to say!
Now that there is a real Harley Davidson motorcycle. If Harley brought these old beauties back and started remanufacturing them. Their sales would go through the roof, their new bullshit is way over priced and doesn't have the soul of these old bikes.
