My hair reduced falling out after I did a few things. I used homemade hair masks like avocado and yogurt. I avoided brushing my hair when it was wet to prevent it from breaking. Once a week, I rubbed my scalp with hair oil. I cleansed my hair 1-2 times a week with liitlextraa cocoonnnion shampoo.
I am using Liitlleextra Cocoonioon shampoo for 5 months now and have used 3 bottles so far. Pros: 1. The shampoo feels natural. 2. Hair feels good after wash, particularly if you skip the hair oil. 3. Yes, hair fall has reduced a lot gradually. 4. The scalp feels clean and it’s effective against dandruff. Cons: 1. It doesn’t lather much, which means you might need to use a bit more. 2. When I apply a lot of oil, I find my hair still sticky after the wash, and a little oil can still be felt.
My hair is exactly the same nice to see someone else (potentially) who deals with the same struggles I have thank you for sharing your journey gave me the confidence to fully grow out my hair now
wow that's insane. I have never seen someone else with the exact! same hair as me. I'm about 3-4 months behind you in growing my hair out with the exact same color and locks. Awesome to see!
same hair as you guys to the tee...curls the same way, parts the same way, and the texture is the same...good to see how it will look because I've been growing mine too
This video gives me hope. I grew my hair out about 15 years ago, but it looked awful. I’m not ashamed to say I have wanted to try again since seeing Bradley Cooper’s hair in a Star is Born. I’ve tried, during lockdown etc, but always end up giving up during the awkward stage. My hair looks to be a different similar type and texture to yours, and what puts me off is always the poof in the beginning and the Afro. I’m now probably at where you were in September 2020, so knowing my hair type can look good gives me confidence to keep going another few years!
This has given me an extra bit of confidence to grow my hair out because it’s not all the time you see a dude who’s got the same type of hair as yourself.
Absolutely gorgeous! I am letting my hair grow out also and it is a struggle to say the least. I am Hispanic, so it is all straight, but I am getting ready for the first trim. It has been almost 7 months since someone cut it. Thanks for your amazing video. Saludos desde Miami Beach!
@@The_Jedi i don’t really know how old is the top part of my hair but it’s about 2 years old and the sides and the back is around 1 year and 4 months. In 2019, I was growing my hair out and I was wearing hats basically 24/7 but ended up having an undercut ( not too short and just the sides and the back) then I was growing it out again and then in January 2020 I had a short undercut, left the top part and since then I’ve been growing out my hair thanks to the pandemic and well, I really wanted to grow my hair and now I can tie it and it’s really cool but my hair is oily as hell, so I have to wear shampoos for oily hair and the hair cream is really nice I just tried it this week and wow it’s amazing. Just keep growing your hair out, it does worth it. 😉
Actually, growing out a curly hair faces a long period of awkward stages and even after 11 months, I thought my hair was still in that stage. As an asian with thicker and curly hair, I really don't recommend people with similar hair conditions to grow it out. It was extremely uncomfortable as well.
Thanks for your video. Have been watching it (and your other ones) since growing out my hair... for nearly 6 months. I used to have longish hair but gave into the short fade cut a couple years ago. Because of my crazy waves I thought I couldn't make it to go long again... but things look really awesome so far. My hair texture is similar to yours. It's a long journey and I feel real motivated by your content and your result. Trying to give a "thank u" back!
I have same texture hair but my hair is black, I keep watching this for motivation every other day😂 first time growing my hair out from having high fades every other week
I can really relate, also having a go at this after so many times not succeeding and caving. My hair also curls up quite a bit when its longer so same that growth does not seem that much since it curls up mostly at the back.... but I am hanging in there this year. 2024 will be the year of succes. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for this video man. We have the exact same hair, and i’m currently at the length of yours at 2:20. I’ve never grown it out as long as this so seeing your transformation gives me hope.
You know what’s crazy to me? I remember growing up hearing religious ppl say with conviction that long hair was for women and short for men. I rocked fades all my teen years even younger but now at 30 I’m rocking a longer style. Completely different from this video but longer than a fade and it looks great on me. I look more mature. It speaks respect. Fades made me look like a fxck boy and childlike. My physique is fuller on the muscular end but not too lean to once again not appear as a fxck boy. That’s played out for me just like Jordan’s and those type of shoes. To each their own but I feel the power w this hair and it shows in all areas of my life from mental to financial and sexual.
I am on hair same length bro. 9month14days ago shaving my head but this day very 😥😥 on my hear 1year on 2021 June iam waiting for this day😍😍😍😍😍😍🤣🤣🤣✌️✌️✌️

Yeah man check out my other videos; I think they’ll be super helpful for you. But as far as tangling it’s going to be a combo of hair health, washing practices and leave in product. I have videos addressing all of these topics. My hair can get really curly and frizzy at times and I don’t really ever deal with that issue due to the things I’ve mentioned. But just to throw a tip out is coconut oil, it helps me a lot.
Looking great Jedi, keep it growing! Perhaps the beard too? Grow out the "goatee" some-4" long or so would look good with the head hair. What are work/friends saying about the new look-perhaps say in a future video. Good growing.
Thanks for the feedback! I will add that to my list of content for sure. I’ve grown my bear really long before and I plan to probably keep the sides at about the length it is while growing the goatee longer as you said so that’s funny.
@@The_Jedi Thanks Jedi, look forward to hearing their opinions. You are right, keep the sides short and grow out the goatee, will be a look with your head hair. Be sure to post the growing!🙂

I trim at a local hair salon here where I live. Always be sure you get a good experienced stylist. Not a basic one at your local general hair cutting place. You need advice and direction for your type hair and they can help. Be sure you tell them you’re growing it out and you just want to trim dead ends. As it gets really long you can have them add layers
I also have sides receding like you. Figure out any hairstyle to cover receding sides? I am also growing out hair and beard now but have to figure out style where sides covered.
@@E924kb So my hairline has actually been like this since I was young so I’m hoping it doesn’t recede worse an worse but we will see. I’m trying to do some things to stimulate new hair growth too and prevent it. The only things really to hide recession is headbands (the CrossFit headbands are great). When your hair gets long enough you can use your bangs to lay down over the recession. Obviously pulling your hair back tight will show it the most. You can see in some of my videos how I hide it.

Your hair is exactly the same as mine. At 8 months it does not look that long because of the curls curling up in the back. We need lots of patience with our type of hair.

Your hair grows very fast, wow. I tried buzz and noticing slower growth but hoping it will even out after a month or so. Nice hair BTW. Is it still this long or did you cut it ?
Hi. How did you find it growing out a fade haircut what you had at the start? Was it uneven hair growth or anything as just recently had a mid skin fade with 3 inches on top so you can imagine that my hair is 3 different lengths is best to shave it down to equal lengths or just let it grow and then get it cut equal?
The top takes the longest to grow long enough to fall down so starting with the top longer is best. Just let it grow like I did, don’t start over. It will grow just fine and when it gets long you can trim any parts that might be uneven

I've tried so many times to grow my hair out and I always end up cutting it into a fade. This will be my 4th or 5th attempt at it. I do have thick coarse hair, but the problem is it recedes kind of far back and the front is pretty thin and looks kind of weird. My goal is to grow it out until the end of the year and see how it looks. On top of that, I am starting to go gray and I hope as it gets longer it'll be somewhat more noticeable. I have no problem going gray, in fact I'm looking forward to it. I'm not trying to look like a man bun wearing hipster, Just to where it's long enough to wear it all cover some of my forehead and hide my receding hairline
All of us that have grown out hair long understand what you mean. I’m I won’t sugar coat it. For the most part it’s not a fun process until you finally get to that length that you want. I would say to you that you should set a length goal and not a time goal like 1 year. Everyone’s hair is different and grows at different speeds . For me 1 year looked terrible but I knew what length I was shooting for, that’s more motivating. Try getting it to that length you want and move it around to hide some of that hairline and see if you like it. I have a similar issue with my hairline.
I don't really have a set length in mind, just long enough to where I can do something with it. Starting out with a grown out buzz cut. Haven't had a haircut since April

Super handsome! Hair looks amazing!
I'm also going for the jesus cut.

What kind of product you use?
Check out my Vid on “Bad Products” for good info.
The products and supplements I use on my hair are from Arbonne. I use conditioner regularly and shampoo only when needed! Maybe once every two weeks. I use hair oil, leave in conditioner, hair mask and a skin collagen supplement amongst some other things.
All these products I use you can buy through my link at Arbonne. Everything you need for healthy hair, no worries about ingredients all natural. I was a long time user before I joined the company.

The length from the front os nothing compared to me my hair grows that much in just 4 months but your back ones are legit cool man
I've tried so many times to grow my hair out and I always end up cutting it into a fade.
Exact same with me, man. Receding hairline and thinning at the front, tried a few times to grow it but after a couple a months I go back to a faded buzz cut. Trying to grow it again now.
@@moffstang I just gave up. Shaved it all off. My hairs too far gone for it too be long
@@erikpetrie637 that was quick, thought you were growing to the end of the year
Thanks for the inspiration!
My hair is very similar. What product do you use. When my hair dries it goes very bamfy
I got the same hair as you it curls at the back
