I'm watching this in 2018 and apart from one brief time when Hall and Shepard owned the club nothing has changed. Why do Newcastle United always seem to attract such vile cheapskate owners?

... From a ground point of view, because the City Council have done nothing to help the club in the last 30 years???????? That one covered side that is bleated about in this video is now the stone around the clubs neck. Hall battled with a few residents on the east side of the ground (that were backed by the CITY council), and lost.
And what did the CITY council do to block Fat Mike transferring the land rights to the South of the ground from the club to his company so he could build on it for a fat profit?????????
