Making those are pretty easy. It looks like they made a mold of the kyber crystal, and used resin for the colors as you can see from the green with blue and yellow mixing. Inside are probably two RFID chips placed opposite of each other coded to the colors.

This is actually quite cool, you see in legends their was this light saber crystal called the rainbow gem, which (if I remember correctly) had a rainbow blade. This crystal was very rare.
@@uchihaitachi181 The Corusca Gem is just a gem in canon, in starwars roleplaying games it's more of just a crystal that is brighter than the others. The rainbow gem was a different gem, just called rainbow gem and had a blade that would glow like a rainbow. Both gems are pretty rare though.

If you put that crystal in a two handed light saber like Maul's for example would it have one blade blue and the other yellow/lime green ??? Give it a try if you have the opportunity !

Tyler Gore thx. I mean I think for a Sith lord he was very strong. He wasn’t this pure sneaky evil like Darth Sidious, but he was still fully embracing himself in the dark side. He had a wife, but he even killed her (while still loving her) because he thought that was his last weakness to fully bond with the dark side of the force. After that he still had feelings though and kind of regreted that he had done that. But also his fighting style is just pure Sith like: aggressively overpowering your opponent with strong strikes and no holding back or giving up no matter what injuries he take (feeling no pain, except for when he killed his wife). He destroyed many Jedi masters and brought the Sith empire back to life with ALL he had. Not like a sneaky little bitch that didn’t want to die (aka Sidious😂). That’s why I think he’s the greatest Sith Lord ever in Star Wars!👍

Ironically purple isn't just used for the sith or the dark side, purple is also used by the jedi so basically purple is kind of a neutral color between the dark and the light side.
Funny story, the purple blade was used simply so that the actor for that particular jedi could spot himself in the arena scene in the movies. Source: An interview on a live talk show involving the actor. I would imagine some lore was built around this as an afterthought though.
