I love the detail that Vaggie's wings changed after she got them back. When she was an exorcist the wings were black-white and the new ones gray. It shows that she is not the angel she used to be and can embraise her "wings" (herself) to the fullest while being with Charlie.
@@DanGamingFan2406 I’m so glad I’m not the only one who noticed that. Even the stripe on her wings is a grey color. Before it was Black like the rest of the exorcists!
I swear, Carmella pointing out all the signs that Vaggie was an exorcist cracked me up. I also like how after Vaggie commented on how hard it is for her to fight with long hair, Carmella let her hair down to get rid of that excuse
Still, it's weird that in the thousands of years the extermination has been happening, no one has ever tried to use the exorcists' weapons against them.
Yeah it's weird but kinda makes sense considering the only way to get blessed weapons is from Carmilla and she probably has those reserved for either very high paying customers or people in power. The only person we've seen to own a blessed weapon from her is Striker in Helluva Boss.
@@valentinkambushev4968 No one tries to fight the exterminations anymore, the demons run and hide by this point. @@ganymeade275And the only person who, as far as we know, that was cornered and actually had genuinely good fighting skill to counterattack an angel was Carmilla. Someone who we can infer has made it a point to avoid conflict with the exterminations at all beforehand, especially considering even after killing one she was still just as adamantly opposed to it. Whereas before it was a matter of "why bother when there's no known way angels can even die permanently" (most likely based on times in the past where demons have tried to fight back conventionally only for the angels to just blitz through, be unaffected, or heal through even massive firepower), now it's a matter of "I know that they can die and I have the resources, but they have far more, better training, and now knowledge that we can kill them and thus will be likely more on-guard with no surprise advantage like I had."
Charlie flipping off and screaming at Susan after getting heckled to no end is still hilarious especially when Charlie gets angry as hell (pun intended)
I love when Carmilla lets her hair down during the figjt. First of all, very hot. And secondly, it's a response to Vaggie saying her own hair was getting in the way, showing it's no excuse.
I literally had an entire gay panic over that. Like, I genuinely had to rewind multiple because I couldn't focus on the episode with my brain screaming "oh my god wha- asdfghhjkl *why is she suddenly hot*??"
A small detail: every time that Alastor uses his powers to change Vaggie's dresses (pilot and first episode), the result is very reminiscent of Susan's dress. 😂
Lucifer is supposed to not be able to help Charlie physically fight heaven because of the deal mentioned in passing several times. Basically Lucifer has to allow the extermination of sinners, however the angels are not allowed to harm any hellborn citizens like Charlie, razzle, dazzle or any of the citizens of the other rings of hell.
I'm honestly not sure razzle/dazzle count, as i think they are familiars, not actual living beings. I know we have evidence to the contrary regarding masks/helmets, but even so.
@-Offstar okay, I couldn't recall cuz I think there was a theory a long time ago abiut them being hellborn, but now I do recall (and have since looked it up lol) that they are sinner.
Someone on tumblr described Out For Love as “Local MILF hypes up her newly adopted lesbian daughter by telling her love is the ultimate murder weapon.” And you know, facts. I love that it wasn’t the fact that Vaggie was an angel that was Charlie’s hang up. It was just the fact that she didn’t tell her. And yeah, that’s fair. Also, Vaggie’s soft delivery when her and Charlie make up and when she sees the others stayed to help fight is so precious. Stephanie Beatriz you marvel, I felt all the feelings.
I feel like Carmella pointing out all the obvious signs that Vaggie was an exorcist was a shot at everyone who insisted otherwise. Also, who would've thought the leader of the cannibals would make such a good relationship counselor? Rosie is a lot more chill in general than I ever would've thought. Cannibal Town is a lot more pleasant than I thought it would be. I love how Vivienne turns our conventions on their heads.
I doubt it. There is -no reason for us to know this is angelic spear and we saw mostly lute so it is just one character with X guessing this plot twist on those things isnt realistic for most ppl IMO
@@Just_a-guy dude you have no idea how many people believed that Vaggie was an angel during the period after the pilot came out, and how many people were bashing on the theory. I hadn't been there when it's happening, but I've watched a reactor detailing how they have to basically fight against the theory bashers. So, of course, the writers may have noticed and since they love putting semi-meta stuff, decided to put this as a laugh due to how obvious it is.

*keep in mind Viv had given us a fairly detailed backstory for vaggie prior, which had her as the youngest human/sinner at the hotel, after dying in the 2010's. And, as far as we know, exorcist angels aren't human souls, but *probably* mostly homunculi Which is part of why people were so willing to ignore the evidence.
very much so, especially given how much critical lore about hazbin comes from there. And lets not forget kenny called out zestials voice actor as being really good, he's also Ozzie. And of course we have more alex brightman as fizz. It really shouldn't be a hard sell. And while the songs are a little light until truth seekers, season 2 goes HARD on the bombastic musical number front, which is very much up their alley. We just have to get them to Loo Loo land and they should be hooked.
Carmilla is now officially my favorite character on the show. She truly loves her daughters, friends and subjects that she is ready to risk herself for their safety. And she really was a mentor in this episode. Carmilla did not refuse to help Vaggie, although she knew that a potential enemy had come to her lair. She seems strong, caring and loving. Although no, that's how she is.
If you take notice on the pilot, Carmilla's daughters were picking up angelic weapons that were left behind by angels after extermination. She then sells or reforges those weapons to then sell them to any demon that wants to buy them, being them sinners or hellborn. Considering that angelic steel is the only thing that can kill sinners and royal demons, many demons come to her and this is what causes her to become very powerful and influential. Basically, Carmilla takes the one thing that instigates fear on her kind and profits from it. Now that's a business woman...
@@valentinkambushev4968 Like Carmilla said... No one was willing to try it out. Not to mention that most demons never actually thought the angels would use weapons that could actually kill them (and neither they knew about it).
Ace in the hole = ace = asexual. Alastor is canonically asexual and this was Rosie acknowledging this fact. As a fellow asexual whose favorite character is Alastor, I appreciate the representation. (We're not all cannibal serial killers, though.)
That certainly didn't stop people from shipping him with everyone under the sun. And for those that are going to say "Ace people can still be in a relationship!" Alastor is also aromantic.
@@valentinkambushev4968What did that have to do with anything? Also why are you speaking for asexual people by saying it's annoying that they ship Alastor with someone when it's more aro-ace or asexuals who ships them together. And I should add that Husk is also pansexual so your words to invalidate Hazbin and Helluva's characters are quite ridiculous. You should get a hobby or something.
@@valentinkambushev4968 It's *HELL,* people are horny, and have literally nothing stopping them from being as freaky as they could possibly want, it's actually more surprising that we've got pan and bi representation that ISN'T overly horny!
If I had a nickel for every series in which Jeremy Jordan was involved and had a banger song about being ready... I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I think people are overblowing a 'Favor' asking Charlie to hand over the keys to Hell is more than just a favor since its out of proportion to what was given in exchange for the favor. Especially since Alastor did say "One itty bitty favor." Counqering hell is not itty bitty. No doubt Alastor will use the favor for his own benefit, most likely in regards to getting an upperhand over whoever holds his chain.
my assumption is he'll either ask charlie to help get him out of his deal, or help him become a true demon (my running theory is he'll become envy, the one sin we have zero info on) something that empowers him dramatically without asking her to directly harm anybody to do so.
An interesting little detail near the start is this is, I think, the first time we've seen charlie without shoes on, and evidently she has hooves like a satyr (or razzle and dazzle, her goat familiars) not human feet. "I know your an ace in the hole" is a lore reference to Alastor being Ace, something the show creator revealed a while back, he responds with confusion because it's a term he wouldn't know giving he's from an era before the term was coined. We have a lot more info about angelic weapons from the other show in this universe, Helluva Boss. It was not known they could kill angels prior, but it WAS known they could kill ALL demons, including the supposedly immortal ones like the goetian nobles, the sins and the royal family. They are very VERY dangerous contraband, even within hell, and Carmilla is the only source for them, so they are tremendously rare, hence nobody knowing they can kill anything, not just demons. (I also suspect this is meant to imply angels and demons are more or less the same biologically, that the difference is rooted in classism and bigotry, not any fundamental difference. This is further suggested by the fact that when we first see Sera in episode 6 she looks a LOT like a goetia, demonic royalty, before she shifts to her more human angel form.) It's als worth noting that carmilla and one of her daughters has a similar greyscale color scheme to the exorcists, and one of her daughters has fake horns on a hairband, so I do wonder if they might be hybrids like Charlie. That doesn't match up with the lore we have on who carmilla was in life, but the old lore about vaggie said she was human so, who knows. It's heavily implied that Lucifer's deal to protect the hellborn from the purges prohibits him from interfering with the purges or helping in any way. That that (and possibly something we find out next episode) were the collateral exchanged for protection for the hellborn. Charlie didn't ask him for help, because she knows he can't help so long as the terms aren't violated.
I don’t think there’s anyone that didn’t immediately love Rosie’s and Alistor’s interactions. And of all places like Cannibal Town to be shown in a positive light…oh and Susan’s there. (Charlie mouthing off Susan might just be one of her most relatable moments) It does distract that Alistor DEFINITELY put Charlie into a situation she does NOT want to be in with the deal. There’s no handshake deal you EVER want to make in hell and Alistor is a REALLY dangerous one to give access to that kind of power even if no one gets hurt. The chain of effect is WAY too much. But at least Charlie knows she can defend herself and those at the hotel from getting erased. Both songs are awesome. “Out for Love” is pretty awesome but I DEFINITELY prefer “Ready For This.” Just the way it picks up as Charlie regains her confidence after getting knocked down by Adam and the angels is REALLY satisfying. This episode is awesome and also happy Vaggie and Charlie had minimal issues. The trials of staying in and maintaining a relationship are always more interesting to me than a will they won’t they be together. It’s way more challenging to show the nuance but there’s countless directions to take. Which a will they won’t they is only 2 options and you’ll know which one REALLY fast most of the time.
Angels have to use angelic weapons to kill sinners. Theyre the only weapons that permanently kill souls, it just so happens that angels are souls too. Also fun fact you can see the child Vaggie saved as an exorcist in Charlie's song as an adult.
Then why would they be able to kill demon royalty? (I.e: Striker using a Carmine rifle to assassinate Stolas) Hasn't Viv said that hellborn don't have souls so they don't get an afterlife?
@artisticbeautybyhanako6801 they don't have souls, they are their bodies so they die forever, yes. They are the end all be all of weapons. One good hit and you're gone. As far as we've heard so far.
Some people were saying that the conflict between Charlie and Vaggie was brought to an end very soon, but I disagree. They've been each others' support for quite some time, so of course Charlie felt betrayed and couldn't speak or be around Vaggie without exploding. She's all she has had for the past couple years! (Lilith disappearing and Lucifer "cutting ties" with her daughter) The only company, the only "sinner" who saw her not as a failure but as capable turns out to have taken a part in KILLING her people... But then again Charlie adores Vaggie and knows that the anger she's feeling is no match against her love ❤️ I honestly LOVE these two 'cause they put communication, trust & support at the top of their relationship just like how real life couples do. It's nice to finally have in a show a healthy wlw main relationship that's already been established :)
But it was still resolved too soon. Another victim of the show being only eight episodes long. That would be like if Zuko joined the Gaang in one episode, and the next episode was "The firebending masters", "The Boiling rock 1 and 2" , and "The Southern raiders" all cramped into one episode.
Also, they havent been togheter for 7 seven years, they have been for 3, and lucifer never "cut ties" with Charlie,he just didnt knew how to talk with her, wich ked to his "only talking with her when he needed something", it was an excuse to be able to talk with her, since it was shown that charlie wasnt exactly the greatest person in the world with lucifer either.
@@valentinkambushev4968 and to be fair, I recall Viv saying the original plan had been a full 24-ish episode season, and it was cut after they'd already planned it out (iirc related to the writers strike which delayed season 1) so a lot of stuff had to be significantly condensed. Similar to those montages in season 3 of owl house, that were clearly cut episodes. This likely WAS meant to be a longer conflict, like what's going on in helluva boss right now, but they simply couldn't make it work with the short runtime. On the plus side, the show has been renewed for at least 4 seasons, so they can plan better going forward. Still only 8 episodes per season, but they won't feel they have to wrap everything up at the end of each, so they can take their time.
given how powerful we know charlie is, I do wonder if she may have explicitly been raised to be kind and somewhat of a passive doormat, to prevent her from becoming a tyrannical monster. Realistically she is probably the most powerful being in hell, she just has no interest in fighting, which holds her back, makes her seem weaker than she is.
Cannibal town makes sense considering Sinners can't be deleted by other sinners or hellborns and can only be deleted by angelic steel. There was a reference to this in episode 2 when Velvet mentions Valentino ripped her best girl apart, and it would take at least a week for her to pull herself back together.
I never notice this before, but at 17:50 when Vaggie lands, her long hair looks like tail feathers, making her look a bit dove-like with her grey wings.
"He can just protect him. He's pretty strong." Alastor isn't nearly as strong as you think he is. He's the strongest Sinner Overlord, or at least he is arguably the strongest. His oddly respectful demeanor around Zestiel kinda raises some questions about which one of them is actually stronger. Hell, Zestiel being as ancient as he is and yet still being alive even though we're told Alastor purged the Pride Ring of it's previous Overlords kinda raises some questions as well. Alastor is strong, but only by Sinner and average Hellborn standards. Any of the Hellborns who are actually important like the members of the Ars Goetia family, the 7 Rulers of Sin, Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie? Yeah, they can kill him easily. Charlie won't, cuz she's a pacifist, but still. She's stronger than Al by several magnitudes. Adam isn't borderline primordial like Lucifer, but he's pretty fucking up there in how old he is, so he's probably around the level of an Ars Goetia family member. Basically, he can kill Al with both hands tied behind his back. So relying on Al to protect them may be effective normally, but it's completely unreliable when dealing with the Exorcists. Of whom, mind you, we have no idea how old any of them actually are. But it's probably safe to assume a handful are older than Alastor at the VERY least.
I have been trying to figure why Montana's shirt was describing Brasil as "blushing heartily" and "flashing his spear" and I had to look up that they were species of philodendrons. Anyway, cannot wait for Arcane reactions!
Very good points are made regarding the exorcists and their lack of concern for defense. This here also factors into their disregard: The exorcists aren’t gearing up for war. They’re doing a scheduled culling of sinners. They’re used to their intended targets running and not fighting back.
the thing Alastor knows is simply that Angels can be killed. remember in episode three, Velvette threw the angel head on the table during the Overlord's meeting, and then Alastor sent on of the egg bois to spy on Carmilla and found out she killed the angel.
Don't know if you've been told yet, but angelic steel is also the only thing that can permanently kill sinners, otherwise they respawn. That's why angels attack with angelic spears
You know the funny thing about Cannibal Town? Considering that everyone they eat just respawns later, they’ve basically developed an infinite food glitch with no permanent side effects, barring a few traumatized sinners who are now a little wiser. Might also explain why Hell clearly doesn’t mind them.
I think it isn't explained here but as i understand, angelic weapons/steel is the only way to kill sinners for good, with any other method they reform after some time (it is also the only way to harm/kill hellborn royal demons wich is explained in helluba boss).
I gotta say, I was super confused by Camilla's song. The beat is catchy, but the lyrics make no sense at all: Vaggie has shown no signs at all of being "vengeful". If anything, she was strongly avoidant towards Heaven, and it makes even less sense for the message to be that she must be "doing things for love". That's...her entire character. All she's done in the show has been for her love of Charlie, even when she herself had doubts. Really don't understand the messaging there. Rosie is amazing, though. Such a kind cannibal.
(At 15:50 And I'M "digging" the relationship between these two. Be honest, does Carmilla not sound like a "mother figure" to Vaggie? I can't tell this relationship with fit more like a master and an apprentice or a mother and her 3rd daughter.
24:25 Actually, now that I think about it, she probably could have come up with a really good solution for protecting the hotel She could get an army of hellborn to surround the hotel and act like a living shield that the exorcists couldn't break
To clarify, Charlie's deal with Alastor requires her to not hurt *anyone* , not just anyone *else* So Kenny's example of "make me the heir of hell instead of you" wouldn't work because Charlie can always argue it would hurt her. The vagueness of the deal doesn't only profit Alastor, but her too.
My guess is that he will use the deal to protect himself from her. There will be a time when Charlie is going to attack Alastor in order to stop him and he will use the favor to put her in timeout "Now is the time where you won't hurt anyone, especially not me while I do my evil thing"
It's not confirmed by Vivzie yet but my theory is that Lucifer is bound by his agreements. We've seen that deals are a major thing in hell. I think when Lucifer agreed to the purges he also agreed not to interfere as long as the angels abided by his conditions. Primarily that the hellborn aren't to be harmed. As Charlie is hellborn that would include her.
(At 7:04) No offense Charlie, but these are secrets that are kept from other people, because these are one of those "I'm not really proud to talk about" moments that have scarred them for life. So it's no surprise your girlfriend never told you about this considering how "sensitive" the topic was.
hey sorry if they’ve mentioned this already but i wasn’t sure, have they mentioned a timeline on arcane reaction? love the lineup right now but so excited for arcane 😂
In case you haven't found out yet, sinners, just like exorcists, can't be killed via normal weaponry. Both normal and angelic weapons can harm them, but only wounds inflicted by angelic weapons cause scars or kill them.
The popular idea of the favor it getting Alastor out of his deal (which Charlie might be able to do). My theory is he really means it, he means no harm to Charlie or any of the hotel guests, but he isn't seeing the risk of it himself. Like, technically Charlie is alive, if she dies, where do nephilim go? My theory is that is part of Lucifer's duck obsession but specifically what he showed her as a little girl.
Overall I quite liked this show but one of my biggest gripes with the show was the Exorcists being weak against their own weapons. For one, Vaggie should’ve known that considering she was maimed by Angelic Weapons. For Two, it is made pretty clear that Angelic Weapons aren’t their only weakness as in the Very next episode we see Several Exorcists die upon crashing head First into Alastor’s Barrier and we watch how Lucifer simply Punches the Crap out of Adam, so simple Blunt Force does them in too which really bothers me because it makes it all the More harder to believe that in all the time Hell has existed, this is the first time an Angel was Killed during an Extermination. A simple work around in my Opinion would have been to either Give Angels some sort of Phantom ability that makes it so Nothing can physically interact with them except for their own tools or Instead of Launching an Early extermination because this was the First time an Exorcist died, it should have been Exorcists have died from these raids in the past, but this is the first time it’s been to such a great extent, So they would be coming back more frequently to better ensure Hell would never be Capable of rising up. With that out of the way, Stan Rosie. She's the best character of the show.
The only things we see harm Angels is either angelic weapons, or an angel's actions, with the weapons being the only thing we see kill one. Had the demons not had angelic weapons, the angels who slammed themselves into the wall would have recovered like Vaggie recovered from having her wings ripped off.
Again, Lucifer beat the Crap out of Adam Just by punching the Crap out of him. Not to mention Ruble crushing Lute’s arm to the point she had to tear it off to escape shows how frail they really Are. It’s just so hard to believe that only now an Angel was Killed in all the freaking time hell has been around.
@@loganrobson8624 Lucifer is an angel, and the rubble didn't hurt Lute; it just kept her pinned. And she ripped her own arm off to escape. Both injuries were inflicted by angels, like I said
@@AZDfox You say "the rubble didn't hurt Lute; it just kept her pinned." I call BS on that. I just rewatched the final episode and Lute Screamed when the Rubble Landed on her. Not to mention she didn't sustain and damage from her fight with Vaggie but once the Rubble fell on her she bleeding from open wounds, bruised, and when she tears her arm off to escape she screams out in pain. For your argument on the Angels actions being another thing that hurts them is something that was never at all stated in the show. In this episode Carmilla tells Vaggie Angelic weapons are the only things that harm angels. What you said is just your own theory.
This episode sure does have a little plothole. Vaggie saying she had no idea angels can be harmed after she ended up in hell by having eye cut out and wings cut off is a little silly for sure. But I love how she says she isn’t used to fight with long hair and Carmilla immediately puts her even longer hair down
I think the favor would be Charlie has to help Alaster out of his deal. Which could be catastrophic if his intentions are bad and that deal is the only thing holding him back. Only my theory tho 😂
Alastor is an enigma. It's hard to tell what's an act and what's legit. Theory is he's been forced to protect the hotel, "not the only one who's on a leash" is what Husk said when talking about being soul contracted. Most of the time is jovial nature is an act, but this ep he seemed to be the most "nice", even have her his mic staff. I don't trust him, he's playing some long game. If we'll see the true him in season two is still up in the air
so, one thing I noticed is that Vaggie was literally hurt by an angelic weapon, she got her eye stab and remove along with the wings yet she and the other angel didn't know they can be harmed? (what she said to charlie) Also Luci not being there for charlie better have a good explaination because it makes no sense if there is nothing stopping him from helping.
So... They armed a crowd of psychopaths who killed for fun and pleasure before and after death with angelic weapons and now every hobo can kill a Lucifer himself. Great. What can go wrong?
Charlie hasn't called in Lucifer to help because of what Adam and Lute told her in the first episode: Lucifer made a deal with Heaven to stay out of the exterminations and in return the angels will only kill sinners and spare all the hellborn demons. Until an angel crosses that line and kills, or tries to kill, a hellborn Lucifer's hands are tied.
Sinners don't respawn they regenerate. The idea that they just respond like a video game is a misconception among the fan base. It's also never been actually stated that they can only be killed with Angelic weapon, just that they'll regenerate from most injuries. I imagine eating another sinner is one of the easiest ways to actually kill someone else
Vivzie stated that they can only be killed by "angel stuff" long before there ever was a show. They simply cannot be killed by any other known means, you are right about them regenerating as opposed to respawning.
@ganymeade275 see I cannot find where she said that. I vaguely remember back in the day her saying they were extremely difficult to kill without Angelic weapons, which to me implies that they are still capable of being killed without Angelic weapons. I'll admit I could be wrong about that but the woman is so chronically online that it's impossible for me to find one specific quote out of the hundreds she has tweeted posted or said in interviews.
@@noremac7216 I don't recall the name of the video, but she was answering fan questions and was asked about whether sinners based on animals can be venomous.
That was probably the funniest scene in the Show for me.
@@loganrobson8624 agreed 100%
I love when Carmilla lets her hair down during the figjt. First of all, very hot. And secondly, it's a response to Vaggie saying her own hair was getting in the way, showing it's no excuse.
I literally had an entire gay panic over that. Like, I genuinely had to rewind multiple because I couldn't focus on the episode with my brain screaming "oh my god wha- asdfghhjkl *why is she suddenly hot*??"

I always forget, and I see different people say different things. Are the cannibals hellborn, cuz I was under the assumption that they were.
I'm honestly not sure razzle/dazzle count, as i think they are familiars, not actual living beings. I know we have evidence to the contrary regarding masks/helmets, but even so.

@@Sassynbluntaf hopefully Gwen finds her own Carmella in Beyond the Spider-Verse
@Letts React did you notice Charlie's hoofs at 0:45? I did, I thought they were just how her feet were drawn but they turned out to be Demon Hoofs
And yet, she and the other sinners never thought of using them against the exorcists.

Ace in the hole = ace = asexual. Alastor is canonically asexual and this was Rosie acknowledging this fact. As a fellow asexual whose favorite character is Alastor, I appreciate the representation. (We're not all cannibal serial killers, though.)
And not all pansexual people are sex-obsessed freaks, but that's Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss for you.
That certainly didn't stop people from shipping him with everyone under the sun. And for those that are going to say "Ace people can still be in a relationship!" Alastor is also aromantic.

@evelyn6-b Yes, yes it is.
THANK YOU FOR RECOGNIZING THE HELLO DOLLY REFERENCE!!
@@rosefriday4287 also, love the musical.
That ain't the same person. Sinners don't age
@tobsonasanya4765 no, but their bodies can change. If they perceive change I don't see why they can't reasonably age themselves
Since Lucifer was basically the start of Hell, the exorcists using weapons that could kill an angel was probably hedging their bets.
You should watch Helluva Boss too, it's in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel
Some people were saying that the conflict between Charlie and Vaggie was brought to an end very soon, but I disagree.
They've been each others' support for quite some time, so of course Charlie felt betrayed and couldn't speak or be around Vaggie without exploding. She's all she has had for the past couple years! (Lilith disappearing and Lucifer "cutting ties" with her daughter) The only company, the only "sinner" who saw her not as a failure but as capable turns out to have taken a part in KILLING her people... But then again Charlie adores Vaggie and knows that the anger she's feeling is no match against her love ❤️
I honestly LOVE these two 'cause they put communication, trust & support at the top of their relationship just like how real life couples do.
@@valentinkambushev4968 I agree, it was resolved too soon, Like a little tension is fine plus it help strengthen the bond even more.
I always find it funny how easy it is for Charlie to be literally pushed around. Almost everyone in the show has done it at some point.
given how powerful we know charlie is, I do wonder if she may have explicitly been raised to be kind and somewhat of a passive doormat, to prevent her from becoming a tyrannical monster. Realistically she is probably the most powerful being in hell, she just has no interest in fighting, which holds her back, makes her seem weaker than she is.

mercifully season 2 is right around the corner. and we have 2 helluva boss episodes to tide us over in november and december.
Cannibal town makes sense considering Sinners can't be deleted by other sinners or hellborns and can only be deleted by angelic steel. There was a reference to this in episode 2 when Velvet mentions Valentino ripped her best girl apart, and it would take at least a week for her to pull herself back together.
we also briefly see the cannibals eating each other during "happy day in hell" in episode 1.

The dead pan response when susan shows up kills me every time

What a lovely cannibal community
"we can not take it anymore, the time has come to go to war, prepare to fight, we're ready for... THIIIIIIIIIIS!" thats a verse to inspire to fight!
"He can just protect him. He's pretty strong."
Alastor isn't nearly as strong as you think he is.
19:57 My favorite song in the show ❤
9:09 Aw dang, they missed out on a good pun here. Instead of "pinkies" it should've been "lady fingers"😅
Charlie making a deal with Alastor is *definitely* not going to come back in a terrible way.
Very good points are made regarding the exorcists and their lack of concern for defense.
This here also factors into their disregard: The exorcists aren’t gearing up for war. They’re doing a scheduled culling of sinners. They’re used to their intended targets running and not fighting back.
Well the wording is interesting in alastors deal "where you harm no one." No one could be a name, just fun crazy ideas.
my assumption is she'll be asked to use her sway as princess to get him out of his deal. Harm no one, but empower him to hurt everyone in the process.
the thing Alastor knows is simply that Angels can be killed. remember in episode three, Velvette threw the angel head on the table during the Overlord's meeting, and then Alastor sent on of the egg bois to spy on Carmilla and found out she killed the angel.
2:55 check out Charlie's cute hooves 😅
(At 16:24) Hell, Vaggie's even small enough to be Carmilla's 3rd daughter.
Vaggie missing an eye and her wings - "What?, angels can be harmed and by our own weapons??" 🤦♂
Harmed by a Sinner.
Don't know if you've been told yet, but angelic steel is also the only thing that can permanently kill sinners, otherwise they respawn. That's why angels attack with angelic spears
23:45 most importantly.. I'm pretty sure Husk can't just leave.. he is there because Alastor wants him there 😄 he has no choice regardless
14:37 How did I not realize that until now
I gotta say, I was super confused by Camilla's song.
0:27: Yum yum yum. Kitty food
I think the main reason the exorcists use angelic steel is because that's also the only thing that can permanently kill sinners also.
(At 15:50 And I'M "digging" the relationship between these two.
Be honest, does Carmilla not sound like a "mother figure" to Vaggie? I can't tell this relationship with fit more like a master and an apprentice or a mother and her 3rd daughter.
24:25 Actually, now that I think about it, she probably could have come up with a really good solution for protecting the hotel
She could get an army of hellborn to surround the hotel and act like a living shield that the exorcists couldn't break

So Kenny's example of "make me the heir of hell instead of you" wouldn't work because Charlie can always argue it would hurt her.

As Charlie is hellborn that would include her.

In case you haven't found out yet, sinners, just like exorcists, can't be killed via normal weaponry. Both normal and angelic weapons can harm them, but only wounds inflicted by angelic weapons cause scars or kill them.
I miss your multiple discussion breaks, can you do one every time you have more than a few words to say? XD
Did you know hellvaboss and hazbin hotel were made by the same person 😮😮😮😮
The popular idea of the favor it getting Alastor out of his deal (which Charlie might be able to do). My theory is he really means it, he means no harm to Charlie or any of the hotel guests, but he isn't seeing the risk of it himself. Like, technically Charlie is alive, if she dies, where do nephilim go? My theory is that is part of Lucifer's duck obsession but specifically what he showed her as a little girl.
Oh Hell Yes! I sure am Ready For This. 🤣❤️
Everything that was established was thrown away in favor of cool fight scenes...I hate how much of a wasted potential this show is.

This episode sure does have a little plothole. Vaggie saying she had no idea angels can be harmed after she ended up in hell by having eye cut out and wings cut off is a little silly for sure. But I love how she says she isn’t used to fight with long hair and Carmilla immediately puts her even longer hair down
I mean Vaggie could have just thought that only an Angel can harm another Angel.
(what she said to charlie)
Also Luci not being there for charlie better have a good explaination because it makes no sense if there is nothing stopping him from helping.
I mean, he did make a deal with heaven to allow the extermination in exchange for hellborns being excluded
So... They armed a crowd of psychopaths who killed for fun and pleasure before and after death with angelic weapons and now every hobo can kill a Lucifer himself. Great. What can go wrong?

Aa i forgot about the premiere
Charlie hasn't called in Lucifer to help because of what Adam and Lute told her in the first episode: Lucifer made a deal with Heaven to stay out of the exterminations and in return the angels will only kill sinners and spare all the hellborn demons. Until an angel crosses that line and kills, or tries to kill, a hellborn Lucifer's hands are tied.
IM LITERALLY BEGGING PLZ WATCH HELLUVA AFTER THIS
Sinners don't respawn they regenerate.
Which the answer was yes, but that the venom couldn't actually kill other sinners and then digressed bit into what could actually kill them. This was all a long time ago, around the time of the pilot if not older.
@@ganymeade275 so I wasn't able to find it but I tried searching for it using the information you got and I got the most hilarious AI response from Google that I thought I would share.
"Sin isn't merely the bad things we do - the lies we tell, the envy in our hearts, or the wrongs we commit. No, sin is the venom. It's a dark, corrupting poison that has infiltrated the human condition since the dawn of time."
I think it misunderstood the question 🤣
“Now sing at them” 😂
If you like Hazbin you'll love Helluva Boss! Its........different and I'll admit when I first watched it I couldn't get past the first episode..not the pilot from 5 years ago but the series first episode. Its..........interesting. the show really takes off though and has become amazing
I hope you also do the spin off show helluva boss. It is set in the same hell, but follows the bottom range of Hells hirky.
Adding to the Helluva Boss train here! Please do that one soon. 😊 💟
