Consumables tip! If you cut your tube shorter when notching so that you only have to notch one side not both sides as you did at the 4 min mark you'll cut faster. Your cut will require less pushing pressure so the tube won't deflect as far allowing for better tolerance and as you've reduced the surface cutting area by half you've reduced the heat in the cutter resulting in longer tool life. The hole saw bit will do over double the cuts. 10 ZIP cut disks is cheaper than a hole saw bit!
Amazing job, just an idea. Any tube the joins into a middle of another tube will allow more flex or is in bending. Ideally you want the ends of all tubes going to a corner or joining with another bender that is terminated at a corner. Not always possible but it prevents stress fractures and improves rigidity. Look any space frame car and you will see what I mean.

yeah i was doing it for most cuts. think that one in video was the only one like that lol
great job man. alll the space now
yeah man!
I love it, amazing skills! I like the look of your lathe too!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you also make a frame like this with the screw points from the Clio Cup and the Pure Motorsport wishbones?
sure
How about using carbon tubes? Could save even more
Nah that would require proper design and stress analysis etc. wouldn’t be comfortable with it
I pretty much always tack with a mig and then tig it properly. Just easier. No harm with tacking with a tig though.
Just set your tig up and it's easier and cleaner to tac
yeah used Tig for everything
Tig tacks 🤟🏻
yeah did just that

thank you. good tip!
@@RuskiWeldFab sick build dude.
Did you see recent garage54 video. laser stripping all the paint from a lada? Saved over 40kg weight
yes. wish i had that machine
Notching tube you could of used the lathe 🤪👍🏽
nah
Absolutely no mig tacs 🤮 your tig will have a tac function any way
yeah none were used! FULL TIG
