This only works if blue trait is around 10x cheaper than purple trait. You feed 9 blues into purple to get 450 blessing then u use the 10th blue to get 100% chance upgrading trait.... Unless you can hit trait on 10% with blues then you save money, but otherwise you don't :)
Correct but your not comparing the price of the blue your using to the purple of the same stat your comparing the price of the cheap stat your putting in for blessing to the purple of the stat you will use the blessing on eventually... so like for my server alot of the mana regens and max mana trait blues are 10 lucent and the other traits are like 300-500 lucent for a purple of the good trait so it's forsure good to then use the cheap traits to then feed blessing to use the blue to upgrade which is only like 100-120 lucent

brother, your cheapest blue trait... lets say max mana or mana regen... a blue is going to cost like 10-15 lucent maybe. A blue max health or skill damage boost will cost way more as a blue. This trick is to use the blue mana pieces to build the blessing up so you only have to buy 1 blue skill damage boost or max health etc to increase the trait.

Because the purple trait skill resistance only costs 342 lucent, but you used the blue trait mana regen 49 lucent as an example, it doesn't make sense. because you need to fail at least 10 times to get enough blessing points, 10 x 49 = 490.
This only works if you have max blue gear with full traits and you transfer it to the purple gear, so it starts with higher blessing or you use blue gear from farming.
I just had blessing already on that piece. Was just using it as an example. But yes a full blue piece gives you I believe 950 blessing when converted to a purple?
Also, can you do that twice with the same weapon? for example a lvl 1 wand and transfer twice, 2 +9 blue weapons full trait so you get it to +9 and 1k blessing? or you can only transfer once per weapon?
And now i wonder... if you use green trait as final item for the 100% chance, instead of a blue one with skill damage resist for example? won't you save another 100 lucent or so? PD: Humanoid traits goes BRRRR xD

So if you transfer a fully traited blue to a purple, youll get 980 blessings I believe. So you’ll want to use a blue to guarantee two upgrades. If you use a green in this case, you’ll have to use more blessings and now short on the next blessing. I guess you can do your way but it’s not recommended.
You’re not wrong. Eventually F2P players will catch up and have maxed traits as well. They should have started the auction house as solvent transactions first… then after a few months switched it to lucent. That way it’s only a pay to catch up. Not pay to win. 🤔

but all the blessing you need works out to the same lucent as just buying the purple
not true, he spent 150 Lucent (50 per mana regen cape, he only needed one, yes he bought 2 but only used one) instead of 300 for the purple.

The green will only give like 1% blessing. You can still fail and waste all the blessings.

i disagree, i'm f2p and have made almost 6000 lucent. I'm fully traited in my blues, i have a few fully traited BIS pieces.
