It took Beethoven nearly two years to compose Symphony No. 9. A profound masterpiece of ingenuity that only he could pull off. The incredible thing is that he did so without being able to hear a single note. ( Hearing loss began in 1798. By 1816 he was completely deaf )

But I want to risk it all with Mozart, and I love Čajkovski, not sure what Russians are shitting but Mozart and Čajkovski, are the best that Europe can offer, not sure what the Russians are doing. Yet again André Rieu and his orchestra perform so, so well in performing Ode to Joy, a classic piece that ranks up there as one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed. I would live to attend one of his concerts - it would be such a privilege to hear music performed so well, in fact, just about as close to absolute perfection as you can get, and the atmosphere there in the square in Maastricht must be really, really special indeed.

Beethoven’s music is Devine but equally as magic 🪄 are Schiller's lyrics maybe it was even the inspiration for the 9th symphony. It touches the Greek/Roman spirit and combines it with the intellect of the time of enlightenment (German romantic), independently of time. It transforms it into pure beauty!
