I definately want to learn how to get more views and my videos shown to more people. I am using keywords etc, but I don't think it is reaching that many people, not sure what I am doing right or wrong.
“TH-cam works for you and Instagram works against you”, that statement really put things into perspective for me, thank you for that! I’ve made content for IGTV and your right it’s not the greatest, my engagement hasn’t changed and my following grows at a slow pace. This video popping up on my recommend is a sign that I need to make that switch asap! Great content btw, keep up the good work ❤️
Preach it. That's why I switched mainly to TH-cam. Not only is it something I always preferred, but the engagement is much more real. Instagram is full of fake accounts, comments, and followers whereas TH-cam is not only more real, but the reward is much greater. A like means more as they stop and take time out of their day to watch your content, which is harder than just double tapping and scrolling. And yeah, those sneakers are crispy 🔥

That's why one of my goals this year is to put more cool content about vintage fashion on my TH-cam channel and grow my audience, is so fun and i preferred it to IG. I am more creative with videos. Thank you Devan.

I agree 100% a few of the men’s fashion influencers I follow on Instagram I’ve watched them on YT first then started to follow them on Instagram. It also helps too because you always end up discovering someone new through features and channel suggestions from your regular YT fashion influencers you follow. I created my YT page way before I really made the decision to try and get more fashion related on Instagram lol

The only thing which I think makes instagram easier is that you dont have to talk much. You can just post a photo of your everyday outfit and grow. With youtube you have to focus on making your videos watchable always searching for new content.

About your Instagram and TH-cam story. You not only shifted from one platform to another. You also changed your content in a way. On YT you teach people. You tell them what to wear, how to wear it and whrere to buy it. You give them complete recipe. What you do to on Instagram is inspiring people. People see how you dress, how you match colors or styles. Then they incorporate some ideas to their style. But this requires some knowlege and skills. That is why engagement is lower on Instagram. But IMHO combining these two is the key to succes. Both YT and Instagram are visual platforms great for fashion. You teach people on YT and then execute your ideas and advices on Instagram making it more authentic. It would help more if Instagram merged with Pinterest. I see that coming in the futere ...

Good points but I disagree, instagram content is WAY easier to make and you can put out a lot more to get into the algorithm. I started my insta 3 months ago and I'm at 10k all organic.
DevanOnDeck currie_goat it’s a fashion and art page, I grew it mainly trough posting on reddit and adding links and tagging larger instagram accounts that shared my posts and tagged me. Instagram is still very possible if you know your audience and target them strategically

Yes you can wear semi formals like Mokstraps,Brogues and Loafers ! You can tuck in by wearing these shoes, It will be better.
