- This video is a showcase of some of the best base locations you want to keep in mind for Ark Survival Ascended. Obelisks & any cave that has an artifact in, you want to be sure it does not say in the Community Guidelines that building those areas are banned or you risk getting Dev wiped. I advise against building artifact caves, but Obelisk's are up for debate. Be sure to check guidelines beforehand for confirmation! I tried showing base locations out in the open that were definitely able to be built in case anyone wanted to start brainstorming designs! Seen a lot of ppl Hating on the game saying it will die I wonder if building on a obelisk in the artifact caves and putting pillars all over the beach has anything to do with why new players don't play on the servers
Official Ark is super toxic
It's impossible to play pvp in official if you're new because you gonna get wiped real quick by a mega tribe. Even if you find a rat hole, you'll get found eventually and wipe.
@Bugsnackers it been that way since ase it's hard to play official on pvp or pve on pve they build pillars and foundations all over but that is not arks fault that Is its terrible fan base
@davidstuck1671 it's ark fault 100% they need to develop a better game mechanics. You can't blame players for doing what games allowed you to do.
@Prinkey they need to make artifact caves and obelisk so you can't build on them to prevent stopping ppl from playing the game I get in pvp that its a thing but its killing the game and pvp its what ever tribe no life's the hardest and there should be a report system for Mass pillar blocking most servers you struggle to spawn in or even get started but the fan base is what kills this game the most I'd love to play online but ppl ruin the game if you didn't get logged in and established a big area on launch you pretty much are forced to play single player
Cake mountain is great for pvp and pve tbh more pve but no cave damage in pvp is always great
My server lets us build in artifact caves because u can buy the artifacts in the shop. We are on carno island
I don't see anything in the Code of Conduct saying that you'll get in trouble for blocking artifacts on PvP. You could do it on Evolved.

You can get dev wiped blocking obs not artifact caves.
You won’t get dev wiped if you build on obs by wildcard devs on official; but if you’re on unofficial check the rules of the server host because they might admin wipe you.
@@rocketsvyou will get dev wipe even in official if you doing these things: cheating, duping, meshing and etc.

@@Thenewgamer1070 oh I didn’t know if he was being legit or just a troll, but best thing to do is put down a tiny starter base, gather the resources you need for turrets and prefab your base there. Next when your ready go claim your spot, might make another video on how to get turrets quick or something along those lines
