I love it!! Just like I’ve been trying to tell everyone… 1. JRL and BaByliss are sitting way up at the top. It’s almost not even fair. The 2020T, 2020C, and ONYX are all phenomenal. The skeleton trimmers and the LoPROFX clippers are too. All are my picks for the Kings across the board. 2. The Rebel trimmer is better than the Saber. For sure! I think the X-Ergo and Rebel trimmer are the best two products from Gamma/Stylecraft. 3. Oster makes the best detachable by a long shot, and the Senior is still the gold standard if we’re taking straight build quality and reliability. 4. Everything else is just noise at this point in my experience. Great video Sean! Thank you for the further confirmation. 🙌
@@Seancutshairthe black Saber I purchased and reviewed was pretty terrible. Maybe I got a lemon…? 🤷♂️ It was pretty loud, the stand didn’t charge the device correctly, and it wasn’t as nice as my Rebel, Cyborg, or even something cheap like the Flex. I got rid of it and think it’s way overhyped, but that could have been a one off with the one I got. Y’all all say it’s crazy good, but mine was a throwaway.
I respect your tastes and opinions, but in my case, I differ. For me, the best trimmer is the Instinct or the Saber (the difference is that one is noisy, but it doesn't bother me 😂). Regarding clippers, I love the Instinct X, Ergo, and X Ergo. If I weren't with Gamma, I'd use the Onyx, which is also excellent (clients fall asleep; they say it makes a sound, and I think it's something like ASMR). Greetings! ✌️ Oh, I use the Rebel trimmer for the beard because it's the only one that doesn't pull hair.
@@Tigerbalm1310I don’t switch out my blades so it’s the blade it comes with. I also don’t zero gap my clippers, I leave them set back a little so that the guards don’t rattle. Mine are better than anything else I’ve tried aside from my LoPROFX’s.

Well i use a boosted with a taper blade. Boosted trimmer too love it. Senior with a faper and ceramic blade(that last line) and babyliss shaver. Maybe that instinct shaver in a couple years
My go to’s are; Babyliss lo pro Fx for clipper over comb, gamma cyborg is great for smooth blends, Stylecraft mythic are my bulk removal, Stylecraft saber trimmer is hands down the best on the market IMO and of course the Babyliss double foil shaver. Having said all that, I really want to try out all of the new FX one products
JRL is easily an underrated clipper slap a fade blade on the 2020c model and this thing last 4 hours and blade doesn’t even heat up also quiet strong motor
Another good video! I'm team Gamma/S.C. (mainly). Rocking the Intstinct X, X Ergos, Ergos and Rebels for clippers. FX skeletons and Flex for trimmers. And Braun Series 9 and Unos for shavers. Shears - Quartered Steels and Fresh Shears.
man crazy to see how different it is for some barbers. This is my setup: 1) Cordless Wahl Seniors with the babylissPRO blade 2) Cordless Masters (man these things are just perfect for detailing) 3) SC Rebels (gorgeous clippers packed with so much power) 4) got 2 Skeletonfx from babyliss - Gold and Rosegold (Gold is zero gapped them things hit harder than the graphite blade, Rosegold is not gapped better for kids and debulking) and 1 new Swapfx with the graphite blade that I'm still not too sure about but gonna give it a run sometime soon
stumbled upon your channel today after I dropped and broke the blade on my FX rose gold trimmers so I figured i'd see what else is out and after watching a bunch of your vids I ordered sabers & gamma boosted to replace my cordless magic clips and i'm not even a barber 🔥 keep up the good work my guy
Great video! I have the Stylecraft Ergo with the Fusion Blade and the shallow tooth cutting blade... does great blends and fading with thinner, lighter, and straight hair. However, I have clients with thicker, curly, or coarse hair and the Ergo just doesn't make it and blending is just a pain, so I go back to my Wahl Senior cordless to finish the job. I really like the look and feel of the Ergo and would like to know if you have any suggestions on how to better the Ergo vs thicker, coarse, or curly hair.
I love your reviews and the interaction with real-life barbers, not salesmen. I need your help though. I've been cutting for about 4 years now and I need an upgrade on my foil shavers and trimmers. I currently have the OG Andis foil shaver. My debulking trimmers are the corded andis with gtx blade and yes, I cut off the top plastic to help with ergonomics. And my line up trimmers are the Stylecraft absolute hitters. What do you suggest?
Ik I’ve been in the comment section a lot but I just wanted to clarify some stuff. You replied to one of my comments saying you oil ur clippers and leave them over the weekend. Do u mean that you oil them after ur done cutting for the week, and then let them chill over the weekend? My second question is do u use the blade care dip jar and if yes, how many times a week do u use it and how long do u have to wait after applying it on ur clippers to get back to cutting?
Yeah oil them on Saturday and leave them sitting on a towel over the weekend to drain off excess. If you cut immediately after the hair just clings to the oil. And I don’t use the blade care too messy
With the new year coming up it would be cool to see a video of you, and your barbers doing New Year’s resolutions, and maybe what their professional goals are for 2024
my go-to is definitely the new more powerful magic clip, that staggertooth blade is my favorite ...along with the babyliss skeleton fx & the fx3 foil ...thank u sir
