Aaliyah needs to control her turnovers. For a senior she should know better by now. As of today she leads the team in turnovers with 12 considering she isn't a PG. Love the way Ashlynn and Aubrey played. Caroline isn't performing the way she does so I wouldn't start her at all. I would go with both Ashlynn and Qadence. Maybe coming off the bench will help her. KK and along with Qadence, Ashlynn will help the team the more they play. By March they should be a LOT better which only helps Uconn. Seems like Azzi has issues. Geno had mentioned once during a conference that most of these players play TOO much basketball and don't rest their bodies, this is the reason for the injuries with young players. Considering that Azzi already had two sets of knee surgeries, this one isn't going to help..Hopefully it isn't too bad. Go huskies..
So proud of my girls. Clearly this loss affected them specially Paige. They got it together and preformed way better than we all expected. Hope this is gonna last till April ❤️🩹 no matter how much people will throw their opinions around and give their conclusions here and there they’re still the best team in my heart and for many fans🤍
Performed better than we expected? They have plenty of talent and have for many years but you have to let them play and not try and control every aspect of the game and maybe don't bench players just for a few mistakes and maybe let players shoot the ball instead of just a few!!
@@chasnami why are you making it sound like a big deal? Than expected as in they were good in BOTH shooting and defense which was clearly lacking against nc state. It was well balanced between the both and they’ve gained enough chemistry to make it work on the court. Uconn has talent, but when you haven’t played with your best player in over a year and a half it’s no shocker that the game won’t translate well. But this time, it did, because they DID something about it.
Griffin is so pivotal this year. She is there getting it done. She will prove to be a huge asset this year.
