Agree or disagree. The whole "plot" or whatever you wish to call it is disgusting. Monique knew about the plot before the season started. Why did she not say something sooner, why did she even continue on the show. When she decided to stay on the show; she should have ripped them a new asshole, confronted them on camera, embarrassed them; and then left the show. If she had done that; she would have avoided all this bs with Candiace and the other nasty ladies. She could have left with her dignity in hand. Just my opinion.

Bravo, andy, and THE WOMEN did the samuels so wrong in this scene. Now yes, chris samuels is so wrong and accountable for his words. But to put the samuels’ live on the reunion and highlight gizelle’s bodyguard as if chris is some kind of angry scary person is so damaging to chris’s character. The “dangerous black man” stereotype is SO obviously played out in this scene and pt 3 of the reunion, and i cannot believe that the women actually played into it considering they are black woc, and WENDY who talked against colorism. It’s just shameful. It’s embarrassing and bravo and andy are SO ignorant to even comprehend what they did wrong, but they definitely allowed this to happen and they are responsible.

You’re absolutely right, wendy doesn’t “owe” the samuels anything, but while she addressed colorism on the reunion she refuses to hold her own friends (candiace) on the show accountable. She’s picking and choosing when to be politically correct, which is problematic. And andy and bravo love this because this falls in line with their branding. Andy and bravo don’t want to or they don’t know how to be sincere in their social and political correctness, they’re only doing it to save face. If you really believe that andy and bravo don’t condone violence on their shows (not their personal values, their shows), then you’re misled. They love the violence because it ultimately leads to higher ratings, and violence is not just physical. Violence is verbal, mental, and sexual. Why is michael darby still allowed a platform to explain himself when he is a sexual aggressor? The entire network along with some of the ladies had a targeted agenda to paint the samuels as “aggressively violent”, and again, they are wrong for what they did. But certainly not these volatile people we’re supposed to believe they are.
