@@davidsanchez8158 That song "Boss Playa" was dope. The Nate Dogg version way better than the one with Akon though. Plus you ain't gotta hide your children when it come on...😂
its weird kev gets good guests and does good interviews but his views never reflect that and people dont talk about him like other hip hop media guys but he def deserves to be
I Still Remember being 15 years old and ditching high school to grab albums like Snoop's - "Tha' Last Meal" and Xzibit's - "Restless" the day they came out, back when HMV released new albums on Tuesdays and going back to my place and spending the rest of the afternoon blazing up listening to it over and over. Back when new music was a experience taking turns with my buddies flipping through the booklets, checking out the album credits... Better Times
This is a brilliant interview. I'm only 20 mins in but snoop seems so relaxed and down to talk about more niche eras seldom talked about in interviews. A real fans interview, thanks!!!
Exactly. Don’t get me wrong. I do love drink champs and they do ask questions there that people don’t but I think for 2024 has been doing the interviews. you can tell he’s not just going through a list of questions. People told him to ask. He just knows his shit and he’s a fan for real and as a real fan of hip-hop he just wants to know the answers just like the rest of us do.
in 93 when i was in 3rd grade and had my dad buy me the cd, he confiscated the album art which was a rated x comic book but let me keep the cd. I knew he would be a long lasting artist and would be relevant and still touring like the Rollin Stones were, and still are relevant and in the game. My friends and i would be chilling in my basement and wondering what Snoop dogg would be doinnin his 50s and he still broke our highest expectations. That dude, even at a young age, had that “it” factor and when you combine it with hard worker, creates the Snoop we hear today!
Such a honey and milk to listen to this. Great questions and deeper insights. Topics like Doggfather album, Nate Dogg, 213 stuff, D Smoke, all the background from different Snoop’s eras. Appreciate the effort. Meaningful stuff, big piece of interview and it doesnt has to be 3,5h with unnecessary fillings and games. Or from the other side cut interview for 14minutes with safe, commercial questions and answers. I like it Snoop Dogg is be him self here. Dre is very much elusive, careful what to say. Here Snoop can spread the word out. And still be aware what he says. Big thank you for the upload. All the best to host, Snoop, and everyone loving the culture.
I wanted to love it and Snoop delivers, but I don't feel any of the new beats. This video explains well what's missing: th-cam.com/video/ZLwPhbXcNiU/w-d-xo.html
That's the realest "L.A ishh in the world." From OGGG Snoop. One night keep it Gangsta with y'all. "To waking up going to court with a suit onn" and 'I' quote. Shout out Legend Rapper Snoop Dogg D-O double-G 👍🏾👍🏾
We love Jelly Roll and Snoop Dogg!!! To see them perform together in Nashville was epic!!! It was a moment we will never forget!!! I love that their friendship was instantaneous on the first meet!!!
Bush is such an underrated album. It’s not gangsta rap, but it’s a very chill positive feeling album. That’s great just to smoke some bud to. I’m loving Missionary. To me, there’s nothing better in the world than West Coast hip-hop and what a year for the west. Snoop and Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Ice Cube, Schoolboy Q, Tha Dogg Pound, Tha Eastsidaz and RBX all dropped great albums in 2024.
Take off rbx never Even knew he had one album the Dogg pound album was wack Snoop new joint is impotant an the eastsiders 😂. Shout out to Kendrick an cube they don't need no washed up dr.
What a great interview, this is the second time I seen bootlegkev the first was a fun video of bootlegkev with Mexican ot, fun. I’m a fan now, first two minutes had me cracking up, grandma gave him that album lol.
One of the best interviews out there. Amazing questions. Snoop is accessible and funny. The guy got probably of the most underrated discography of all time.
I remember when Nothing But a G Thing came out. I was a senior high school, and we would play it in the cafeteria during lunch and we'd all be rapping along while fools were drumming on the cafeteria table. It was dope because the East Coast had been running the airwaves. Wu Tang, Tribe Called Quest, Biggie. And then that West Coast sound came crashing through the doors! Man, what a time to be a hip hop head!!
Bruh, Kev! Doggystyle was my 1st hip hop album ever.. my life was never the same after i heard that album... i stole it from my older sister who my family was fostering to adopt... i am forever grateful for her for that album lol
2 live crew and the chronic was the 2 records that changed my whole world of music, I can remeber till this day exactly what i was doing when listening to them
great interview and very entertaining. Snoop really gave good responses. Some interviews you just barely get any insight, or just safe answers. This was the real deal. I like Missionary, but not really what I expected for the first snoop/dre album in 30 years. I hope they just keep working together going forward.
No new questions, homie did not do his homework on Snoop 50+ years later Snoop still telling the story. Snoop is a master to stay professional and not only answer the saltless questions, use the moment to teach. We all still in the classroom.
I thinked he gonna pass forward by No limit albuns when they start talk about Pharell, but he take back and do some dope questions about that time, great interview for all, real dope!!!!
Great interview, by far one of the best interviews with Snoop Dogg! I do wish you would have asked Snoop how many songs he recorded with 2pac.... They have songs like... If there's a cure & just watching Untouchables Street life World wide dime pieces
Fire interview! Dope AF!! 🔥🔥🔥 Love how Snoop gave credits to BG Knockout & Dresta for making that banger with Eazy ❤ I felt like Warren G in that time, could not chose a side. The West was making bangers all the time. Don't forget ATL who had a big influence with G funk back then and stiil making dope music, they don't get enough credits imo. Keep them dope interviews coming man! Peace from The Netherlands ✌🏽
That was an awesome interview. If anyone asks me what my favorite album by Snoop is, I always say Tha Doggfather, because for me, it’s one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. I think people always talk about the two Tha Eastsidaz albums and the Doggy’s Angels album from Dogghouse Records, but I never forget the Bad Azz album Personal Business - I think that’s great too. I also loved the No-Limit era and think all three albums are amazing. I’ve been listening to Missionary a lot recently, and it’s just straight-up dope to me.😎
Bootleg Kev is dope because he asks Snoop questions no one else does…Best Snoop interview this year my G!!
He should have asked him why he let the bodyguard take the wrap for his murder case....
