My pheo was found after two reverse takotsubos and many years of misdiagnoses of social anxiety/perimenopause.

I had this several years ago. Took nearly a decade to find it and it nearly killed me.

Oh gosh that sounds awful. How did they find it? I've just had an abnormal ct and high urinary metanephrines. Getting a focused scan next week. Had symptoms for years too

@@lizziebeggimbo It took almost a decade. I finally WebMD'd my doctor to death and he ordered a CT scan. 5cm pheo on my left adrenal. I was lucky it didn't kill me.

Can you tell the story on TH-cam. People think it's rare, but they find 50% at autopsy.

Contrary to what the NIH Dr Karel Pakar, Debbie Cohen, Daniel Pryma and surgeon and MD Kebebew's mentions at the Para Pheo online meeting,
I want to ask a single question,
How do I survive state 4 Paraganglioma Cancer without surgery for almost 30 years?
    HOW
PGL patient, Nurse and Medical Tech.
(by-lateral neck, chest [left lung] and around 2015 the thyroid [left lobe]).

Hi Elizabeth, I am so happy to hear of your long survivorship. As you probably know, the illness is usually slow-growing, but can be agressive in some people. Researchers are still trying to figure out why. Best of luck to you for another 30 years!
