This is the best DIY lift tutorial I've seen. I've been doing my own lash lifts for over a year now, thanks to the instruction in this video. Some of the things I've modified in my own protocols: 1) I use a different size pad for both of my eyes. I have slightly uneven eyelids & this makes my lashes look most symmetrical 2) I wipe the products off with a dry paper towel. I find that using a wet towel during the procedure lessens my results 3) To save time, I start with my left eye & do the right eye while it processes. I get both lashes done in 30-40 min now. I don't recommend doing this your first time, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy 4) Make sure you cover your processing lashes with plastic wrap, as shown! It helps hold them down properly. If you use clear wrap you can still see through them. I'm writing this with plastic over my eyes, actually. I walk around the house like a weirdo when my lashes process 😂
@@sherrigardner6555 the main reason for plastic wrap is to keep the lashes down. I like plastic wrap because I can see through it, but you could use a plastic bag, ziplock, etc. Just make sure it has enough pressure on it to stay down. You could lay down and put a towel over it

I have quite long lashes like you so opted for the M2 which was a good choice and the results are very good, not quite salon standard on my first attempt, but really good. The gluing of the lashes to the pad is the most challenging part and it helps to know you can use extra glue if required without affecting the result.
Excellent tutorial. All instruction and clear demonstration without any nonsense filler and useless commentary. Your lashes came out great. I will definitely try this. Thank you.

I watched your video three times, bought the same product and did it at home; I absolutely LOVE the result. My lashes look like mascaras on every day. Thank you for the excellent explanation!
I think the size of the lift pads depends on how your lashes are, like if they point downwards or don’t hold a curl very well , the small will be better. I tried the larger size because so many you tubers were saying not to use the small. I barely got the lift I wanted. I looked at other videos and saw professional ones that used the small for stubborn lashes like mine and that’s what I’m using for now on. It works better for me but for a first time, I can see using a larger pad just so you don’t get stuck with too much of a lift, it’s probably easier to just go smaller on the next use if needed. I don’t like those under eye pads at all and don’t use them either they keep moving upward into my eyes which isn’t good if there is any solution on them . So far this is the best at home lash lift video I’ve seen
Thank you so much for this tip. I am north american indian and my eyelashes are completely straight! I will definetly take your advise when I try this product the for the first time!

Thought I’d comment again, I’ve just done one of my eyelashes with the kit and following along to your video. It looks perfect! I did as you said and took my time getting them stuck how I wanted them. I used to go to a salon but the last few times they gave me crinkled eyelashes so decided to try myself. Thanks again Gemma! TIP! Use duo clear lash glue. Game changer with sticking these pads to eyes, not hard to remove either. Also I did the small the first time, I have finer lashes, they’re there but they are thicker at base (not so much but in comparison) and they thin out towards the ends. The small size worked perfect but I changed the lash glue for sticking the eye pad without cutting it and to stick lashes to it.
I followed the instructions to a T and the results are literally shocking! I had no issues whatsoever and it’s actually super easy. I had the kit for like 3 months prior to trying because of the time commitment but I only did 10 min increments and only used the tiniest amount of the solutions and it really worked.
Just tried this lash lift kit on my daughter and we're super happy with the results! The only thing that was difficult was the lash glue. It wouldn't help stick the pad to her eyelid or the lashes to the pad. Followed all your instructions (holding her lashes in place-while they set) and found your video super helpful! Thank you! ❤

I just recieved my kit this weekend and after going thru it and reading the instructions, I was lost ! It was not very clear on the instructions. But after watching your vid, I now have peace of mind and confidence in my ability to successfully do them myself! So thank you for the awesome video! It was perfect. Strait to the point and very informative. Wish me luck!!!!😊
@@10whitelilith10My first time using this kit and this video, the result was PERFECT. Since then I've made not 1 or 2 but THREE attempts, all failed. It just didn't take! Each time I thought maybe I had done something wrong but I think maybe the product in these bottles just weaken too much after having been open. Would love to hear anyone elses take on this.
Thank you for such a detailed description of the process. I watched the video several times and had it on while doing it. I had trouble with the glue sticking to the eye pads, but think I have a solution next time. Also, I found that using my eyelash curler first worked really well in helping me glue the lashes to the pad. I did have to re-do one eye three times before I got the process down, but I'm super happy with the results. I checked the average price for a lash lift in California, USA and the low end is US $115. I think $20 and some time spent is a good deal. I'm waiting for the lash tint you recommended to come and will be reviewing that video soon.

Great tutorial. Onto second eye with this lash kit. The glue is rubbish - my lashes and the pad itself keep lifting off so will get some better glue for next time. The plastic wrap helps stick everything down though and has saved it. Thank you!
I really recommend this at home! The best eyelash lift ever!!! Far better than in the beauty saloons before. It was also very easy to apply. Considering that I am not super handy - everybody can do it. This video is also very handy. Although I have watched also some more video's. The BEST tip which I have learned in this video: my eyelashes are not long so for me the best lift is with S size (small) pads. Longer a silicone pad more curl on a lash you will get but when my lashes are short I prefer them more in a stand position than a curl position. To use a brush to glue the eyelashes is another top tip here. It worked Perfect for me. Just be brave & do it yourself at home! It is really easy❤️ 💋
my lashes arent long or short and i tried M its so difficult for me to place them how i want its so hard...idk what to do its hard to stick them onto the shield but then onfe i stick them on theyrr so hard to move around if i add more glue it gets tacky..
I had a very hard time getting the glue to work. It either wasn’t sticky at all or too sticky and I couldn’t set my lashes straight. Then my lashes became unglued between the perming solution and applying the fixing solution. Not sure why. I reapplied glue but it was annoying. I will just go into a salon next time. But I appreciate this video. It was a clear how-to.
i'm watching this because i'm anxious to use this since it's all like "if you have sensitive skin don't use this!!" or "if this gets in ur eyes seek medical attention immediately!!" and "don't let this touch your skin!!" and i'm clumsy but this makes me feel for confident
I have this kit and tried to use it but couldn't get my lashes stuck to the pad, but think I didnt do it right watching you. Will give this another go now I've seen how you did it as it makes much more sense
This is such an amazing tutorial... I can't believe there is no proper instructions in the kit. Thank you for this I will be sure to report back with my results ❤
I watched this several times along with a tutorial by LashX LA and finally got the courage to try this. Yes, it takes a while, but it wasn’t nearly as scary as I thought, and it worked wonders. I used Refectocil to do a tint after the lift (Pampered Wolf has a great tutorial on that too) and I can’t believe how great my lashes look. I have long lashes and used the large pads, and the look is quite dramatic. It’s so great to wake up with lashes that look this great! Thanks for the tutorial.
Thank you for this super helpful tutorial!! I over-curled mine using the medium size pad and I did what you said with a spoolie and the perm solution and it worked flawlessl!! I ended up putting the neutralizing lotion on afterward too. My lashes are PERFECT now!!
I did mine a few days ago and truly its not hard to do. I watched a few videos which helped a lot. There are tips and tricks to go by which are nice to know and that no one warns you about. It's just so much cheaper and convenient to do yourself. I believe with time a person will get better.
Thank you for your great video. I have watched it over and over! As I permed my lashes, I watched, step by step, with you. You made it so easy! I had trouble with the glue in the kit, but I had some extra that worked 💪 great. This was a game changer. Good glue! My lashes came out great! I couldn't have gotten better at the salon. They lasted 5 to 6 weeks as described. I was very satisfied. Thank you for giving me the confidence to make it happen! You are awesome! ❤
I just got my kit in, & I'm super nervous to use it. I watched a different tutorial, but it had no commentary. Your video helped break it all down. Thank you! I think I'm more calm about trying it out now. 😌 Wish me luck!
I went to a salon a week ago as thought I'd treat myself to a lash lift £40!! What a waste of money!! I did exactly what she said, didn't get them wet or damp or put anything near them for 24 hours!! Went bed a d next day the curl was almost gone!! Contacted her and she basically just asked me if I got them wet or damp and offered no solution or even to try and fix it or do it again. Obviously didn't care about customer retention! No pride in her work. Anyway I'm glad I found this tutorial as its brilliant and I just bought the kit so will be doing this at home from now on. Thanks. Do you have one on tinting eyebrows and lashes as well? 😁❤️
@ Melanie, had my eye lashes tinted a couple of weeks ago, in blue black, really impressed, cost £14. You can see more definition, and when you use mascara, they look more enhanced. Would not waste my money getting them lifted, eyelash curlers, heated up, costs nothing 😊
Wonderful video. I recently purchased the kit, but have been delaying using it because it did not come with instructions. Your instructions are fantastic. Ty
I am really not an anxious person, but I never ever would do that by myself. Although a lashlift is expensive (in my eyes), I pay 45£, I go to a salon. But Gemma, you did a brilliant job. No blinking or shaking. Perfect! I looove a good lashlift, regardless of whether at home or in a salon. Combined with dyeing the lashes, I don't have to use mascara at all and that's great for summer holidays (if they are ever possible again 😉). Love, hugs and kisses 😘
I finally used my lash perm kit, and your instructions helped so much! I was even able to start on eye #2 while the first eye was on the second fixation step, it was so easy. I was scared to use my kit before I saw this video, and now I’m not afraid to do it as needed. Only thing is, my eye pads aren’t curved enough to fit the roundness of the contour of my eyelids, so an end will pop up and not stay glued down. I have to use a finger to keep a corner of the pad and its lashes down flat. I always had the same problem with fake lashes-they aren’t contoured enough to fit the curve of my eyelid, and an end will pop up and not stay glued down.
Great tutorial. This dried out my eyelashes and didn't last more than 3 weeks. I left it only the minimum recommended time. The glue irritated my eyelids. I won't use it again.
I have always wanted to do this as well as having my lashes dyed. I now know from watching you that I don't think I could accomplish it at home. I am a bit afraid of the chemicals so close to my eyes though. I think it's why I have never gotten anything done so far. You look beautiful 😍 Gemma. I think it looks great. ♥️
Thank you, Gemma! I really appreciate you listening to your viewers’ requests.. and so quickly, too wow! You’ve definitely sold me on having my lashes lifted. But also confirmed my thoughts that it would be best to have a professional do it for me. If you do it yourself while saying it’d be better idea to have someone else do it, then I definitely won’t have a good experience to trying it myself, even with your helpful guidance, Thank you so much!
Great video. Thank you! I had no idea there was a home-kit available. I wish I could do this myself. I am too clumsy and inpatient for it. But I love my lashes when lifted, hence over-paying for it in a salon, every 6-8 weeks.
I think it seems 2 b worth trying this procedure at hm. I feel urs came out completely sufficient. I'm not sure how much they cost at a salon. Just feel it would b so much more cost effective. The procedure itself seems quite simple. I would think the more u do it, the easier it will become. So, thank u 4 filming the process.
Super helpful video. Thanks so much for this step by step video. It's very thorough and very easy to follow. Used your advice for long lashes and went with the M1. We definitely took our time and you were right, it is helpful to let the glue dry for 30secs-1min before placement. We literally played and paused your video between steps and we got amazing results. Very pleased. Many thanks again :)
So happy I put this question on here, because I found your channel 😊 I’ve never had to do a lash lift or tint my lashes & brows, but unfortunately I’ve reached 50 I’m finding my eyebrows & lashes have grey in them, also my lashes have drooped 🙈😭 so as a first timer in lash lift & tinting I have found your tutorials fab! Thank you for helping us out 🥰
So here I am .. 10:40 pm .. plastic over my right eye .. not even nearly finished 😢😂.. am not sure how it will look when I’m done with both eyes 😅.. thanks for your tutorial!! That’s what I needed
AHHH!! Questions!! 1) are you able to blink/close your eyes while the plastic wrap & towel on there? 2) how do you NOT get it in your eyes? 3) how sensitive are YOUR eyes to fumes/scent? 4) how many uses do you usually get out of a kit? THANKS!! :)
Hi Faith, 1) Yes you're able to blink, but I generally keep my eyes shut under the plastic wrap. 2) I'm very careful not to get it in my eyes or on the surrounding skin. 3) I wear contact lenses so my eyes aren't that sensitive. 4) I get about 10 uses out of the kit xxx
Super excited to try this at home! I’ve been going to ge salón and it’s very expensive especially with a generous tip! My lashes are long and grow often so it doesn’t last 12 weeks, more like 6! This is why I hope I can do this treatment on my own with help of this very well-done video 🙌🏼
Thank you so much! I didn't use the same brand, but it had all of the same steps. My lashes turned out great and I didn't blind myself like I thought I would lol
The lash lift process has done wonders for the look of your lashes, however, I don’t think I would do this myself. I’ll stick to eyelash curlers and mascara but thank you for showing how it’s done
Thank you for this excellent video. I used a different brand, but everything was the same. I have short lashes, so I used the smaller pad. It worked perfectly. Where I struggled was gluing the pads down. I'm almost 69 and my eyelids are a bit loose/saggy. The pads would lift at each corner. I just had to make sure 7:53 I had a lot of glue on them and then hold them down for at least a minute. It finally worked. My eyes feel a little gluey right now. I used the cleanser, but I'm waiting until late tonight or tomorrow to wash them. I'm going to tint my lashes, too. My daughter has her lashes lifted and tinted regularly, and she said she gets better results doing the processes separately. So that's what I'll do. Thank you again for such an excellent video!!!
Have had my lashes lifted and tinted in a salon 2 or 3 times in total. Yes it’s lovely to go and feel pampered but it is very expensive. Got this kit now and am going to try it, if it works it’s going to save me hundreds of pounds. That’s a pretty good reason to give it a whirl
After seeing other comments, I feel like maybe it's an issue with the glue. They probably changed the formula to make it cheaper. I'm gonna try to find a different glue but that's annoying that they don't send an effective glue 🙄
I am so impressed by your skill at this, Gemma! I admit I am not brave enough to try this at home, unless I have a friend to help.... especially since I wear glasses and have very poor vision. But, WOW, what a difference it makes!! Your lashes look fantastic!!👍❤
Ah this was interesting. I tried doing this with a kit from Diablio. It was fine, but didn’t have the little extra tools. A real faff, but one eye looked really good by the end. The other one didn’t. It was the first one I did, and I managed to squash some lashes. I ended up with some going one direction and some the other! It looked weird but I think only I noticed.😂 took ages to get back to normal. Interesting to know I could do that with the perming lotion. I’ve got loads of product left but not sure if I will do it myself again. The difference in yours is just amazing, such a difference.
Thank you ! Very useful tutorial. Unfortunately I was not able to attach the lash pads nicely to the corners of my eyes (I guess I have very round eyes) The corners kept lifting even with extra glue ? The end result is nice but not over impressive so I hope it will stay because it's subtle and might be totally gone in a month.😪
Think I may have a go....... haven’t checked the kit price yet but the beauticians in my village are charging £56 and you have to have a tint which I don’t really want, my eyelashes are already dark enough! Xx 🎄🎅🇬🇧
Thanks so much for this!! No nearby salon has any availability before Christmas and I thought I'll take the leap and do it myself, but I was so scared until I watched your video ❤ can I ask is the cling film essential? I don't tend to buy or use any, thanks!
Love the result one eye done will do the other tomorrow 😂🤦♀️ but te glue really made my eyelid sore hope it goes down quick I have really sensitive skin. But I knew that when I did it! Looks amazing though massive massive difference I also tinted it straight after-well worth it I was an LVL virgin before this!
Hi! Thanks for this tutorial, I did it yesterday and it worked! Question though: I always use coconut oil as a make-up remover… It works wonders. But now I read I better not use oily removers anymore, with the lift. Do you have experience with it? Does the lift really suffer from it? Thanks!
I think I under processed my first eye because I was so worried about going too crazy 😂 How often can you redo this? I have plastic wrap on my second eye now and I have a feeling I’m going to get better results after my learnings with the first eye. It worked. Just extremely subtle. Think I used a combo of too much lash glue and not enough of the solutions.
I have average or shorter lashes, and so watching this, I was scared to use a small pad because I didn't want to over curl. After doing the first eye it was clear I needed a small pad. Also, in regards to not coating the whole lash, for people with long lashes that's fine but I do need to go up. My daughter has medium long lashes that do not take a curl well at all. I found on her that I had to leave the solution on longer and again I should have gone up more than half on the lashes simply because of their resistance to curl. Over all I think the video was helpful, but catered to one type of lashes.
guys if you have stubborn stick-straight asian lashes like me, use the smallest eye pad AND leave the perm solution and fixation solution on for 20 minutes EACH instead of 12 minutes. it works 10000% better. edit: so i did this again six weeks later as the first time worked so well. well i'm not sure what happened, but i followed the steps exactly the same way i did them the first time, and it didn't work at all. i did it AGAIN after that, thinking maybe i didn't apply enough solution, but still nothing, no curl at all. i'm thinking maybe one of the chemicals expired or something, which is disappointing as that means the shelf life is very short and this product is one-use only? unless someone has another explanation :/
I been doing this for a year now and I don’t know why it took me so long to figure out that my eyes are a little too deep set for the silicone pads and I need to trim the tops off. I had so much trouble with them. They would lift on one side if I slightly opened my eye and I need to while doing this. When I do, the pad hits my upper lid and moves and lifts. Some of my lashes would come off the pad and stick straight out some even go under the pad where it lifted. It caused a lot of issues. I see where the pad is trimmed on the sides , I don’t know what took me so long to trim the top too. I will say, this video is the best

But after watching your vid, I now have peace of mind and confidence in my ability to successfully do them myself! So thank you for the awesome video! It was perfect. Strait to the point and very informative. Wish me luck!!!!😊
I’ve been using this kit since the first lockdown. Really impressed with the results!
How many use do you get out of one kit? You don’t seems to be using a lot of product. I bought one but haven’t used it yet.
Can you tell me how many people can do their last lift using this one kit?

Great tutorial. Onto second eye with this lash kit. The glue is rubbish - my lashes and the pad itself keep lifting off so will get some better glue for next time. The plastic wrap helps stick everything down though and has saved it. Thank you!
THANK YOU! I watched other tutorials and stuff and they didn’t work for me but i followed every step of yours and it worked!!!
I got this same kit this week. So excited to try it.
Your tutorial is very helpful.
Thanks for sharing 🫶🏻
Ive never had a lash lift. This was my first time and i did it myself. It looks amazing after following your tutorial!! Thank you so much ❤️🇦🇺
This is such an amazing tutorial...
One eye done, just doing the other. Amazing results...thank you for the video x
I've got this and used it twice. First time I got a semi-lift, second time nothing at all. Same for my sister, definitely going wrong somewhere!
This is something I would never do. But it was interesting to watch.
I love coming here whenever I do my lash lift
This was very well done. Very clear and easy to follow. Great tips too. You're a doll! Thank you for making this how too. I love it!
Ty
I have mine done but my daughter does her own all the time with a similar kit. I’m going to give it a try as it is pricey to have done. xx
I followed all your instructions. It works amazing for me. Thank you ❤❤
I just bought the kit. And I followed your instructions and my eyes looks AMAZING IM SO HAPPY ❤
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’ve just tried and result is great! Difference is huge, so now I have to do it with my second eye 😄
Great tutorial. This dried out my eyelashes and didn't last more than 3 weeks. I left it only the minimum recommended time. The glue irritated my eyelids. I won't use it again.
oh
This is absolutely the best lash lift tutorial out there and I’ve watched many. Thank you for this!
Love it! Doing my lashes myself since watching this video and they're perfect. Thank you so much!
In the process of doing my lashes now! This video helped so much. Thank you!!! Xx
Worked great for me. Thanks for the tutorial . Love it. You did a great job explaining all. ❤
THANKS!! :)
Hi Faith,
1) Yes you're able to blink, but I generally keep my eyes shut under the plastic wrap. 2) I'm very careful not to get it in my eyes or on the surrounding skin. 3) I wear contact lenses so my eyes aren't that sensitive. 4) I get about 10 uses out of the kit
xxx
@@PamperedWolf Excellent!! Thank you for the feedback! :)
It’s 2023 - Currently doing this now!!! ❤ thanks for your video
I've been wanting to try this! Thank you so much for doing it.
I just did my lashes at home, and followed your video ❤️ thanks a lot ❤️They look perfect ❤️❤️
Excellent video. For some reason my eye pad never ever ever sticks to my eyelid. Any advice?
Dealing with the same issue. Let me know if you find a solution and I'll let you know if I do bc this is so annoying
After seeing other comments, I feel like maybe it's an issue with the glue. They probably changed the formula to make it cheaper. I'm gonna try to find a different glue but that's annoying that they don't send an effective glue 🙄
Fascinating to watch you. Great result. I wear glasses and struggle to do my eye makeup 'cos I'm as blind as a bat without them.
This is such a great guide Gemma, thank you! The “lashes waving at people” comment really tickled me 🤣
Xx 🎄🎅🇬🇧
I really appreciate this video! It took all the guesswork out and gave me the confidence to use this kit!!
Thank you for this video!! If you want to tint your lashes, what would the steps for that be? Would you do that before cleansing the lashes?
Love this tutorial, simple, need to know and to the point!
Just bought my daughter this kit and now I feel at ease doing them for her!!
Omg just received my kit today it's a slightly different one but same things ofc, so excited to try it outtt, hope the results are amazing
Debra, not sure I would drink wine before doing this😂😂😂 !!! but I'm gonna give it a try Gemma! Thanks
You're a real hoot! Your humor is adorable.
Always wondered how they did a lash lift if I didn't need glasses I'd have a go your amazing x
Gemma, this was so interesting. God love ya, I was holding my breath the whole time.
Hello, this is exellent tutorial! When I used this one tone. How can I keep the rest product?
Hello, do you have any recomendations of which glue to use ? I already have the kit but the glue isnt working well. Thank you in advance
Fantastic! Wow it makes such a difference. Thanks for sharing Gemma.
best tutorial I've watched. super helpful
Love this!! I always take SO LONG with the lash glue… my lashes never stick
Thank you for this tutorial!! I was very anxious about gluing something to my eyelid 😬 but you helped so much!!
This is such a great tutorial!!! They look amazing!!! Have you ever tried tinting your eyelashes?
guys if you have stubborn stick-straight asian lashes like me, use the smallest eye pad AND leave the perm solution and fixation solution on for 20 minutes EACH instead of 12 minutes. it works 10000% better.
edit: so i did this again six weeks later as the first time worked so well. well i'm not sure what happened, but i followed the steps exactly the same way i did them the first time, and it didn't work at all. i did it AGAIN after that, thinking maybe i didn't apply enough solution, but still nothing, no curl at all. i'm thinking maybe one of the chemicals expired or something, which is disappointing as that means the shelf life is very short and this product is one-use only? unless someone has another explanation :/
The same happened to me :/
Thanks for the top
I think once you open the solution it just expires
I did this lift took my time got 😊great results, my lift lasted a little over a month
I love your lashes, thought they looked really nice. I'm a more mature lady. but wish I had the courage to do my own. 🥰
Thank you! Got my kit yesterday and I'm going to try it out!
