@@WestWorld24 No, your video was fine and informative. After the 1970's cars, I just feel inadequate to work in the engine compartment for all but the most straightforward things. I'm the king of taking things apart and then not being able to put it all back together.
I'm glad you found the video beneficial. I'm thinking about making a video on how to change the transmission fluid. Would you like to see more Kia Sorento videos? Thanks for watching!
Thank you so for this video - I have to give this a try, I just got a quote from one local dealership for $800.00 (rounded up) and in the neighboring state I got a quote for $350.00 (rounded up). 😳 🙄
Spark plug replacement on this vehicle is not for a beginner. If you have some basic mechanical skills you should be able to pull it off no problems. Thanks for watching!
Just one little super important detail always cover intake ports with plenty clean rags before you drop a small socket on top of valve good forbid a small washer can go through an open intake valve on top of piston oops
It probably took me a couple of hours. That was taking my time and being slow and methodical about everything. It really wasn't that bad, but like I said in the video it may be intimidating for a beginner. Thanks for watching!
@@WestWorld24 thank you, one more question, I have 3.3 and only 100k shall I replace plugs now, or what type of plug they use from the factory. I saw you have an egk one, are they original or privius owner might replace them in the past. Thk
@@jmc.mecanic2060 I'm not sure what the torque specs are but based on years of experience I tighten them down until they're snug. Be careful not to over tighten, I also use anti-seize on the threads.
Thanks a bunch, about to take on this project within the next few weeks and this helps!
@@flintwithers8460 Thanks for watching! I'm about to tackle this project again on my wife's car. It now has over 200k on it
Thanks for posting did my plugs today and saved some coin. Brutal bolt on the back passenger side indeed.
Thanks for the comment, I'm glad I could help.
I replaced mine yesterday and your video saved me a lot of time. I'm glade you mentioned the bolt in the back. Thanks for posting
I'm glad you found the video helpful, like I said it wasn't really a how-to video but I think I hit the main points. Thanks for watching!
This video confirmed I have no business doing this. LOL
It's really not that difficult. It sounds tougher than it really is.. I apologize for this not being a how to video

Seriously cuz I literally just thought the same thing. I’m like oh this should be easy peasy but this just got harder and harder really quickly.
That's hilarious 😂❤
Thanks for the video! I just did this job and you made it a lot easier!
I'm glad you found the video helpful. Thanks for watching.!
Thank you. Saved me a bunch of money.
Thank you for watching, I'm thinking about adding additional Kia Sorento videos. They seem to be popular. I'm glad you found the video helpful.
HUGE help, thanks so much my dude!

Yes, please. That's on my to do list very soon.

Great video! Taking the plenum off is the hardest part, did you replace the gaskets?
I did not replace the plenum gasket. Thanks for watching!

How long did it take you to change all of them?. I am ready to work on my 2012 sorento

Is there any gasket on intake manifold ports or just reusable O-rings? Thank you.
It is a reusable rubber o-ring type gasket.
