One of my favorites as well. However, sometimes when you get the krachai pieces it's too bitter. Is there another way of preparing the krachai so that you don't risk chewing the pieces?
iv'e never known krachai to be bitter to be honest, it's a strong flavour but is amazing when paired with chill, basil and young peppercorn.
and it should definitly be eaten
Forget pad thai drunken noodles are the best thai noodle dish..Bring the heat!! Pad kee mao is so much better than pad thai.
