Yes, and it will only grow in concept and reality as time goes on. I still can't wait for the simple groundwork that we will hopefully get to experience come September.
@oktanedesigns yes. I mean it will of course be limited to how big maps can be in beamng but I'd rather have a short realistic experience than a long stage with menus in between.
Ya, it's a huge announcement for rally, there is no serious alternatives to RBR, now that work will transition over to this game, progress will accelerate immediately. We won't have to wait for a realistic rally game, we already have it. Just need a good user interface and rally themed events.
Ya man, this might finally be what we are all looking for once it's fleshed out. Think about how much RBR has been changed and improved to meet our needs as a modern title. This will have far less limitations. The biggest thing that holds beam back is optimization.
I was arguing last night with some people and i told them that BeamNG is a crush sim. i hope to be wrong. BeamNG Rally Pro sounds perfect but i just discover it. Prove me wrong cause we need a hardcore Rally besides RBR
Yes, unfortunately development has been postponed until the game is a bit more stable from a developers viewpoint...Hopefully it will start back up soon because I was really counting on it to switch over from rbr.
Is this the guy who repacked Czech rbr and started to charge people? I wouldn't mind paying if it was a robust supported thing but it seems way too early to tell as beam has little rally based infrastructure
he did not really repack the czech, he has actually developed a lot of stuff for rbr, and he was using the czech servers for the points system at the beginning before making his own server. the navigator system he made is the best thing we have for multilanguage pacenotes, i can only see the potential if combined with beam.. i'm suire this will be great!
I cycle between various Racing games and here's my opinion: - WRC Gens (good physics, excellent FFB) - RFS RBR (excellent physics, excellent FFB, horrible everything else) - DR2.0 (average physics on tarmac, excellent on Gravel, average FFB) - AC (excellent on tarmac, work in progress on gravel, average FFB) - BNG (Can't drive 100 yard without crashing physics, horrible FFB) At least that's how it feels with my Simagic Alpha Mini settings, I hope I could make BNG feels better though !
Lol beam takes some dedication but it's very possible to go flat out without crashing with good notes and familiarization. But I agree with your breakdown of each title. Beam just accounts for so many more variables and that's really important to rally since it's literally man and machine vs the course. Other games can get away with missing details because the focus is car vs car vs car.
Obviously, you can't keep up with automotive physics, especially racing physics. WRCG's automotive physics is nothing but a piece of crap, and its driving experience is like driving a hovercraft. As for DR2.0, do you really not know that it is actually arcade physics?
@@SleepyPantsSimRacingyeah man all these modders and map makers he burnt bridges with over the years are just poor victims of rumors and propaganda. Keep defending the neurotic schizo italian. Good riddance if you all fuck off to BNG, I unironically can't wait
I have ever since he explained his side of the story in an interview. RSF members never followed through with the interviews I scheduled multiple times.
Btw that guy Carlo is a known scammer in the RBR community. He has his own plugin where he makes you pay to access all functions (other plugins are 100% free), his plugin is just a stolen version of the cz one, and he puts stages and content in his plugin from authors without their consent, so don't support nor trust him
Thank you, but that is not accurate. :) his work gets overlooked often in the community, you are misinformed. I know all of the things you are referring to, I had a long interview with him and I asked him all those questions and his answers convinced me that he is not who most people think he is.
@@SleepyPantsSimRacing So the track authors that are mad at him and don't release their stages outside of RSF out of fear of him stealing their content are just mad without a reason? cmon bro, who you gonna trust,t he authors or the guy who stole from them
I don't care about his reputation or what ppl say about him. I just talk about facts. Track creators from RBR hate him, and they have good reasons, and also the fact that you have to pay for a service that is free in other plugins is bad, no matter how you see it. And on top of that, he is making that money on the back of those authors from who he steals from. Keep defending him if you want, that won't change the reality
I´m still seeing BeamNG as a damage simulation sandbox. It´s still a wannabe in therms of driving physics. Drifting and rallying ar so far away from AC or RBR nowadays.
I agree that rally in the base game still doesn't feel quite there but I would argue that it's more due to aero. I have tried the same cars as the base game with some modern aero added and they feel tighter to the ground. Beam is the closest I've ever felt to driving real cars in a game, second would be rbr ime.
Happy to see new faces and new ideas coming over to BeamNG. Looking forward to following this.
Same, propke are starting to really catch on!
Let’s hope it doesn’t just fizzle away with no support
Agreed!!!!
i'm quite sure hes gonna put a lot of effort into it
@@SP.Spittlebug agreed, just as he and his collaborators do with rbr pro.
Sounds exciting, especially the integration with RBR servers to track your stage time etc., been wanting something like that in BeamNG for a while
Same, this will also be a community driven project so I'm sure feature requests will heavily influence the direction. So get your suggestions in now!
They can work with the devs just contact them
Wasn't to interested until you mentioned it's in VR. Defo for me. Thanks for update brother.

Hype!

oooooo. now this is interesting.

There's gonna be road sections now in between stages? Did I hear that correctly?
That's a possibility brought to you by beamng but the plan is to build specific rally maps that only have rally focused themes. Service stations, etc.
T hi s sounds like the new rbr contender excited to try it

It's a big deal. :)
where can i find the map used?
In the link in the description. :)
