- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new Party Prep!! I got everything ready for Wentworth's fourth birthday party and it was Construction Theme!!! YES!! How fun is that! I've done a lot of birthday party themes in the past, and I was excited for this one for multiple reasons - mostly because everything was SO simple to throw together and it is very budget friendly! Totally loved my pretend nephew's birthday party!! Btw. I'm currently 34wks pregnant with (unexpected) baby #1 (thanks quarantine 😂) and I want you to know that watching you over these last few years has really helped me settle into the thoughts of motherhood. Here are some things Ive learned, You do the best with what you have. "Never" pay full price for anything. And don't be afraid to let the kids eat off the floor. Haha!! But seriously, you're sooo much more realistic than most other mom/family channels on TH-cam and I absolutely appreciate you for sharing the truth of it all! I've even gone back and watched all of your advice videos, post partum tips, and even Wentworth's nursery tour! Thank you thank you thank you for sharing and lots of love from your bestfriend and baby boy in Indiana! 💙💙💙

His birthday party was so cool! My Grandma used to give us water and paint brushes to paint the cinder blocks in her backyard when we were little... it was fun and now my kids love to do it at our house ❤️

Do yourself a favor, go on Amazon and buy packs of various sized WHITE gift bags. Then depending on the occasion, decorate, and personalize them. I use tissue paper appropriate to the occasion.

I smiled so big seeing Wentworth so excited about his birthday shirt! That’s when I realized that those days are over for me because my kids are 10 and 15 and they don’t get crazy excited over little things. The 10 year old is easier than the 15 year old, but they both get more excited when I do their chores for them than when they get gifts!🤣 However, 10 and 15 are my favorite ages so far!

This is just about the cutest cake. Wanted to give you an FYI, if you hold a sealed jar on it's side / upside down and bop the ottom of the jar with the other hand, you should hear the seal pop and then it's easy to get the lid off.

For the tape push the hard plastic flap down and roll it backwards it’s actually used to “scoop” or hook to the tape.... it’s hard to explain I hope that makes sense though
