I swear, if the game and my emulator didn't have a "fast forward" for the battles, I would have spent an entire day just sitting infront of a screen waiting for one bloody tournament to finish.
I actually did like the game a lot tho... Its not much of a game in the first place, I know, but it was pretty fun for my 11-year old self. Still need to finish it, but meh lol
yes most of the time you're watching the gameplay; however, this is treated as a strategy simulator. Not really an rpg or platform based gaming style. I did enjoy the difficulty from time to time. Only downside I found is that you'll have an amazing deck, but sometimes lose due to shit luck. NPC always dodging and having a slot in failure at 90%.-95% i typically only use it at 100% for that reason.

its been 14 years. (8 for me since I'm entering my teen years and its been 8 years when I since I knew about chip challenge) and I'm still waiting for an hour long version.
Personally, it's... not that good. It's not awful but it's not very fun. For a spin off, it's okay but it could've been better especially with the good points it has.
Now that i have played the game recently, thinking how the game works, the game can be reworked to become a mobile app game thing, but since battle network is not popular anymore they could put classic megaman.
Had this game been released now as a mobile game it would've done great. Back then before the rise of mobile games or even smart phones. It's not a surprised it didn't do so well

The Yo-Yo and Meteor chips were probably my favorite
This music is absolutely great, but it's hard to listen to without the occasional "kssh kssh-kssh" static sound of a chip being deleted.
