Belinda still sounds great live. Very impressive, and most importantly she has a gread band behind her, very tight musicians. I'm glad that Belinda is still around and touring.
Nice to see BC again! Wow she looks great. Stylish, healthy, relaxed. Very chic. She actually hasn't had plastic surgery the way some people think. She obviously does Botox and skin rejuventation, but she also does that little trick of flexing facial-cranial muscles that provide a little "lift" for TV appearances. Great bone structure. You could hang her whole physique on those cheekbones!
Enjoyable, relaxed interview and performance of "Heaven" too. Despite Belinda's admirable aversion to lip-syncing, her vocals on live perfs of this song were typically pretty sloppy. She's cleaned things up though. And when she veers off-key or slips into old bad habits, you can almost see her calmly checking herself and correcting it. That's kinda nice.
Glad it was enjoyable for you. Belinda just about blew him off for the fool he was tonight. He is a cool guy but was a total ass here. She probably should have just done the song and spared them both embarrassment
Yeah i kinda noticed the off key too in 2 parts, but hey its not easy singing live, acoustics im sure were are not perfect on a TV stage. While her voice is past its prime, she still commands a good performance, and is on my top 3 of all time best female singers. Tina Turner obviously is #1, followed by Sarah Mclachlain and Belinda Carlisle.
Aliens, Belinda, REALLY? I think maybe the drugs haven't worn off yet. I have this theory. You know how when you're with someone for, say, a year, they say it takes you more or less the length of the relationship to get over that person? Well, maybe if you'd been doing drugs for 30 years it takes another 30 years for them to completely leave your system. That's THE MILDEST explanation I can think of. :)
welll. it was a very good performance, but but.. way too raw... hmm... she could colour it up a bit... and what is with plastic surgeries....you could hardly see her eyes... *sigh*... better age with dignity than turn into a wax figure.. but go Belinda!!! ;)
Why does she consume butter if she is politically supporting animals? Plus her voice is not the same anymore. It was better before. Doesn't she get tired of singing the same song millions of times 20 years in a row. Maybe she should sing songs that are more suitable for her low voice now.

She has always sang alittle flat. So much so that it seems to be her style.
