Painful I have a military base on our main road, you get stuck in these convoys of military jeeps hummers half tracks and all kinds of tank looking trucks, it's not fun I go around... Lol! Nice ride brother that must of been a club? Enjoy and stay safe.
Yeah, i get what you mean! But this one was special. We were celebrating the 80th liberation of our province, and especially the peninsula of Walcheren. Fortunately there are still some enthusiasts restoring and maintaining WW2 rolling material and once every 5 years some 200 vehicles split up into 9 convoys drive through Zeeland. The location where this one started (Sloedam causeway) is a memoriaal to the fallen soldiers.
@2stroke4me Very nice way to honor those who didn't make it home. Here they use the road for transport base to base and at times it's very frustrating but they are the one who protect us so it must be done.
@@mikesrcgarage The WW2 veterans thin out every year. It's an honour to welcome them here and it's important to listen to them for as long as that's possible. The US military is a strong and important ally for countries worldwide. Without it the world peace would be out of ballance.
I am shocked our 🤡 crime minister allowed the old fossil fuel vehicles out considering he wants full Ev by 2030 🤣🤣 but that was really cool Canadians love the Dutch people they are very nice
Guess we're not worth being invaded with fancy ev's, lol!! Trudeau has no clue whatsoever about military vehicles, and to be fair, here in the EU there's also talk about electric military vehicles. Going to be the shortest war ever when everyone's batteries are dead within 4 hours, lol! A lot of people from Zeeland know of a relative that started a new life in Canada after the war. There was extreme poverty and there was nothing left after the inundiation. They fit right in i was told :)
