    You guys are straight, direct to the point, no bs. Constantly trying little things to evolve the lt4 platform or whatever the challenge at hand. Give real life results good or bad, just kinda lay out your thought process and why and that to me says a shit ton about your company in general. I'm still playing with h/c 4th gens just for fun to keep trying stupid little stuff and the general consensus is my car has hidden n20 somewhere....no need 😄. Just love focusing on little details and improving no matter the platform. I also race motorcycles on a professional level and almost enjoy stuff like this more.

    I was very interested in this lid. 26hp before a tune? I called the shop and spoke to an employee. I asked what the return policy was for this lid if it doesn't make a solid gain. I said that the lid will be going on a lt4, zl1 with kong port X, cam, f.b.o, etc. The dyno will be performed back to back, same day and a Cool down long enough to swap the lid. He sId that this black lid will only gain 10hp over the taller factory zl1 lid. His actual words were maybe 10hp over the factory, zl1 lid. I respect his honesty

    • @LateModelPerformance
      @LateModelPerformance  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course and thank you. Yes gains are entirely dependent of the setup, obviously a FBO car will not pick up the same as a max effort car on meth and E.

    • @anthonyluangphasi8800
      @anthonyluangphasi8800 ปีที่แล้ว

      Give it a year bro. The interest rates have only been high for 6 months. All those fools who paid the inflated price on their leases or finance deals during the pandemic, are now gonna be getting squeezed not from the car loan, but all their other loans are going to be high interest.
      Same with all the people who still think they can sell it for kind of a price.
      What happens now is new people who are looking to buy from today onwards are not going to be able to afford loans or finance at the current High interest. That means there is going to be no buyer pool.
      People in over their head money wise + no buyer pool at current interest rate = used market price drop. It has already slowly started, but he patient, give it 12 more months, the prices will drop a lot.
      In that 12 months save your money and you'll have a huge amount down. That's when you know if you really want to spend money like that.

      Hub dyno’s have been around for 20+ years. We have a hub dyno and dyno jet (with wheels on) however the hub dyno is needed for big power stuff 1,000-3,000whp+. There is no wheel spin on a hub dyno and we can simulate 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile passes just like at the track. Which is key to dialing in shift points and thus cuts down time testing at the track.
