I was playing Reach last night and noticed the civilian helping Jun and I out through the level was M.Lehto.
I busted my ass keeping that man alive.
When Marcus Letho said, "Halo is something that runs thru my blood; , I've got a lot of ideas about what could happen... even if I can just help out." I got honestly teary-eyed excited! Hope 343i or Joe Staton already made that call.
Imagine Marcus and Joseph spearheading a large expansion for Halo Infinite, an 8-10 hour campaign on Zeta Halo :).
Or even better a dlc that links to Halo Infinites story with flash backs to either the human Covenant war or the Banished and Spirit of Fire duking it out on the Ark.
this is what im excited about the campaign. since the paid version of infinite comes with the campaign im wondering if they'll add campaign expansions later down the line

I love the mystery and the subtle way bungie hinted at the forerunners while only mentioning them here and there. You knew the universe of halo had so much to it that needs to be uncovered.
Hidden behaves and looks like that humble student that is the teachers favorite star xD
50 minutes into the video, this is a real jewel. The heavily refreshing questions and answers in combinations with the shown footage and the top notch music on top really summorizes the whole Halo adventure we've been through. Oh man this feels like a credit screen of the whole big halo universe with all the community. And we lucky mushrooms even have a big party coming that cheers to all the past years and the ones that will come. An infinite dance around the campfire with lovely people that love to save the world!

Thanks for this! You mention doing a vid with Joe Staten, if you do, I'd love to hear about what the Prophet of Truth's original motivations and endgame would have been during the last 3 missions that were cut from Halo 2. (or just more about the original script before it got cut down in general). In Halo 3, his entire character is changed and he acts as if he truly believes in the Great Journey, but in Halo 2 he withdrew the Phantoms to let Regret die and similarly left Mercy for dead, and is orchestrating the elite/brute civil war in an effort to amass power and seems to have deeper plans. What little of the early versions of the H2 script we've seen mention him having a medallion of some kind (perhaps made using the slipspace crystal shards from first strike that never went anywhere?). I've been dying to know what the original plan with his character was for years, and it would be a literal bucket list item for me to know.
Cant wait to see Vengeful Vadam vids on the pre-beta CE builds if we ever get them released
Was Marcus one of the four elders who knew about the ODST glyphs?
Possibly, but he had Halo reach on his hands at the time and didn't touch ODST. So I'd say it's unlikely
The other 3 are possibly Jason Jones, for sure Marty, and Joe Staten and maybe some of his team

@@Saku_607 Yeah, I remembered that was the plan while typing so added "post launch". Personally I do hope additional story content comes as distinct DLC, rather than just extra story missions slotted into the Zeta Halo map. Basically I hope they don't do a Destiny.

This was fresh! I loved that Marty interview, but that one was somewhat an amalgamation of stuff I'd heard before, since Marty is very vocal and outspoken. dude this was an AWESOME interview. Thank you for interviewing Marcus. I've always been curious what Bungie's take on Halo 4's GAMEPLAY would have been been...in terms of how Reach introduced the armor abilities and bloom and the DMR ect....would their H4 have had those elements as well? Or stayed more similar to H2 & H3? If you ever get the chance to interview him or another Bungie vet, I'd love to hear their answer to that question!

He's so humble! I don't know if he fully understands how much he impacted so many peoples' entire lives. Halo is quite literally one of my main inspirations for getting an engineering degree and wanting to work in the Energy Sector. Some of the first "sci-fi" I genuinely fell in love with was these games as a kid growing up and constantly wanting to dive more and more into the lore in the game.
This interview is something I could only dream of. Halo CE was the first video game I had ever played on my Xbox 360. The game built my childhood and I'm forever thankful for that
I had to keep my tears from not coming out of joy and how nostalgic this felt, so many good memories. Marcus is a culture God for being part of one of the best if not THE BEST I've played in my life.
Super cool that Marcus went on here. Love it when people you respect are actually down to earth cool folks. This was Awesome. This man has truly brought one of the most amazing forms of entertainment I've ever experienced. Star Wars OT and Halo CE-Halo 3. Thanks for taking the time out to talk to us as the fans. As for me personally I always wanted to see the blind wolf make a come back but boats would change the game in a good way. I'm glad of the bungie series not a fan of halo 4 and can't stand guardians but that's my take. I hope infinite comes out in a productive and good way but I won't hold my breath. As for you Xperia glad you were able to talk to Marcus.

Man the king Kong video game I use to play that with my sister renting it out for the xbox 360 at a local newsagents where we lived!
