Hi Cristy, “This is what I imagine heaven looks like.” Amazing that you said that. When I saw episode 2 in the big screen, and saw Anakin and Padme sitting on the grass, waterfalls behind them, I said, “this is it!” From what I remember from the Return of the Jedi novel, when Darth Vader asked Luke to remove his helmet. Free from the suit and the Dark Side of the Force, a scent, a sensation, brought a flood of memories back for Vader. Yoda is very old, around 880 years old, give or take. He obviously uses the Force when he needs to fight and that takes a lot if energy, similar to how he lifts Luke's X-Wing in Empire. He doesn't use the Force unless he needs to and therefore don't use it for mundane tasks like walking fast. He goes all in a fight and that requires him use all of his powers at once to compensate for his old body.
If only R2 was programmed to detect the small creatures. I'm guessing he was only programmed to detect bigger beings. Padme said "I 'wasn't' the youngest queen ever elected"? That doesn't make sense. I thought she was. Anakin never tried to kill his son when he knew Luke was his son. Anakin's tusken slaughter never fails to give me chills. The emperor's theme, Vader's theme/the imperial march. Screw the tuskens. "If only...senator Amidala...were here", trying to guilt Jar Jar into proposing it, because they knew that Padme would never allow that. I love Obi-Wan's humor in the arena. "Good job", "she seems to be on top of things". 😂 The imperial march at the end was perfection.
YES! I grew up in the 80s with the OG trilogy ruling my life, haha, but I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie (and the entire prequel trilogy). So glad you got that same excitement and enjoyment - the thrilling action, the witty banter, the deep romance, the torment of Anakin! 🤩 You're gonna find Episode II... enlightening. ❤
Padme went from being similar to the Governor of a US State (in her case, the planet of Naboo) to being elected to represent her sector in the equivalent of the US Senate (The Galactic Senate).
I don't know if you have seen The Lord of the Rings trilogy (and/or The Hobbit) but Count Dooku is played by late Sir Christopher Lee, who played Saruman in the Tolkien movies and been in over 200 movie productions including being the title character in The Man with the Golden Gun, Dracula and Frankenstein's Monster in Hammer Horror Movies (where he played against his friend Peter Cushing, who played Moff Tarkin in Episode IV: A New Hope), played Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes in a number of movies and even appeared in The Golden Compass and Police Academy: Mission to Moscow and appeared in some Tim Burton mvoies including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
I remember people in the theater freaking out when they saw Yoda with a lightsaber. He used the force to help jump around and stuff. Then he stopped using it and went back to his cane.
oh boy hearing you say that the "you are cool with the chanceler" i start laughting so hard, you are going to be get a huge surprise cant wait to see your reaction
48:12 another well spotted point, so Master yoda is the only one on the council who applies himself the traditional Jedi code, and because of this his force usage is intensified, he acts as conduit by allowing the force to flow freely through him “which is the way all Jedi are suppose to use the force” instead they try to manipulate it which creates blockage, and allows the dark side to benifit from the rest
I may have suggested after episode III, watch "Solo" than "Rogue One" that gives some back story to the trilogy IV, V and VI. Great reaction and commentary on fashion and the love story.
42:45 "I feel like such a drag" and "I'm quite beside myself!" C-3PO is so fun! 43:19 What's the name of this movie? right, Attack of the Clones. that's your answer! 52:27 Throw in Rogue One before that! Rogue one, then 4-6 again. I promise, you'll understand why when watching. don't forget Solo either, but there are things there that might be shocking if you haven't seen the Clone wars animated series before that... just watch it all Cristy! This is my favourite Star Wars movie, the glory days of the Jedi, and we get a brilliant example on what they were up to with Kenobis investigation! running round different contacts getting clues, then zooming off to different planets for answers.
Not only is there indeed an actor in the C-3PO suit in all 9 films + another one I won't spoil which, but it has always been the SAME actor, Anthony Daniels, too.
Awkward yes, creepy no. If that was the case Anakin would have been so infatuated with her to the point where he wouldn’t have taken no as an answer. That doesn’t happen in the movie.
I cant understand why a teenager, a former child slave that was taken away from his mother and inducted into a religion where attachment and romantic partnership is forbidden is not a whiz with the ladies
Also! I totally think you should re-watch Episodes 4-6 after finishing the prequel (for yourself, off camera), like you said. It's an awesome way to experience the saga. 7-9 was not written or made by Lucas at all, so, it is sort of like fan films, in a way. That doesn't mean they're no good, that's for you to decide! I just figure it's an important thing to note. It's like, random people adding on to another artist's existing work. Take that however you want. And I really love your reactions. You're a riot! ❤ May the force be with you!
Quick trivia tidbit; When the Assassin was hiding in the bar and got her hand cut off. The Black guy and the slender older guy are actors that other more prominent characters. The black guy is Ahmed Best and played that stupid Space Rabbit. The older guy is Anthony Daniels a d plays C-3PO, and yes he's in the suit most of the time, ( Except Obvious CGI). He has played him from the beginning. Also George Lucas Wrote & Directed THX 1138 in film school. 1138 in Easter Egged thruout the Star Wars films. In A New Hope, when an Imperial officer questions Luke Skywalker and Han Solo about Chewbacca, Luke attempts to fool him by claiming it is a "Prisoner transfer from Cell Block 1138. In Empire, there is a reference to the number 1138 when General Rieekan orders Rogues 10 and 11 to Station 3-8 shortly before the Battle of Hoth. I'm not sure in Return. In The Phantom Menace, 1138 is written in the back of the B-1 Battle Droid that got tangible on JarJars leg. In Clones, when Padme falls out of the troop transport, then when the Clone helps her up the marks she made rolling in the sand is 1138. In Revenge of the Sith, 1138 identifies Clone Marshal Commander Bacara as CC-1138, Bacara. He does something it the film, (will say in the comments of that reaction). It is not mentioned in the film but was confirmed thru Star Wars Database. It does appear in Disney SW but it doesn't hold any significance.
Yes, Anakin restores order to the good side of the force....After turning to the dark side and somewhat with the help of his son Luke and daughter Leia. It's sweet that C-3po and R2-D2 are always with the same family. Anakin made C-3po. Padme had R2-D2. After that the droids go with baby Leia to her parents who adopt her. In episode 4 the droids get to Luke. R2-D2 becomes Luke's droid and C-3po travels with Leia in the original trilogy.
Awesome reaction, as usual. Thanks! Take a second look at the scene on Tatooine when Anakin is leaving Padme to go rescue his mom from the Sandpeople. Notice Anakin's shadow cast upon the building. The shadow of Anakin's head is kind of shaped like Darth Vader's helmet, isn't it? Yes, that was foreshadowing a key point in Anakin's turn to the Dark Side. You were right!
After you finish the Prequel trilogy, the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+ takes place, then Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Rogue One before you catch back up to the original trilogy Episodes 4, 5 & 6. There's plenty to fill that gap.
You asked if you could go there. Yes. The villa is on Lake Como, Italy. I visited it in 2019. If you are staying in any of the towns around Lake Como you can fetch day tours on boats and they stop for an hour or two at the villa. You can walk all around the grounds. It's beautiful. I'm too lazy to look up the name. I'm sure you can find it easily.
So pleased you got to this. I've been checking in all week. A lot of people are really down on this movie, but I think it only sags in the Anakin/Padme scenes (which you clearly were fine with!) You're in for the biggie now: REVENGE OF THE SITH!!!!! It's going to blow you away. Before you do 4,5,6 again, I would really say "do Solo and Rogue One" next. In that order. Solo is just a disposable, fun frippery. A nice palate cleanser. Nothing to be taken seriously. And then Rogue One is big and deep and heavy...and Episode 4 literally starts a few seconds after Rogue One finishes!
Shmi fied because she was tortured for over a month and they let her starve or barely let her eat or drink, this led her become weaker and weaker until she died right as Anakin just had rescued her.

15:37 "Attachment is forbidden." And that would be a dealbreaker, for me. Not the only one, but it would be on the list. As a Jedi, you learn to do a lot of awesome things with the Force; the kinds of things you would love to show your friends. But a friend is an attachment. For the Jedi, it is forbidden. That means you're not allowed to _have_ friends. Not even other Jedi.

Jar Jar was just a lot to handle coming off years and years of the original trilogy. He was really a target for kids too. I think a lot of long time, and older, fans felt like the Star Wars universe was being manipulated for positive reviews and money rather than giving the story respect.
This is 10 years after the events of episode I the phantom menace, since the defeat of Darth Sidious apprentice Darth Maul at this hands of Ben Kenobi, Sidious has acquired new apprentice in the form of once Jedi Dooku now known as Darth Tyranus
The relationship between Anakin and Padme has more sense with the deleted scenes from the original footage. If you can take a look at these deleted scenes, you will like it even more. It´s a great chemistry.
Regarding your general take on the story, you’re thinking along exactly the same lines I was when watching it when it originally came out. There is surprises to come, but we think a lot alike.

He goes all in a fight and that requires him use all of his powers at once to compensate for his old body.
5 movies in, and she still calls him 3-CPO 🤣
I'd recommend watching Rogue One after episode 3.
The same actor who played C3PO in the first 3 movies is the same guy in the suit in these 3.
I truly love how she always says C3PO wrong every time 😂
"He's so quick and agile. Remember when he was a puppet?"
The imperial march at the end was perfection.
Yes watch episodes 4-6. Theyre always a fun re-watch to catch things you may have missed. Even some of the things they say.
Yeah, Chancellor Palpatine is a really cool guy. Nothing at all like that evil Emperor Palpatine.
Jedi lies and Rebellion propaganda
Y'all need to stop suggesting this garbage...
Star wars fan number one rule: Never EVER say that clones are Stormtroopers or vice versa.
Anthony Daniels also has a cameo appearance in the club
He definitely isn't in a suit in episode 1 lol, that's a puppet
Congratulations on being the first female reactor I have seen who doesn’t think the romantic scenes in this movie are creepy hahahah
Was it really necessary to post the same thing nine times??? 😒
But they are….😂😂
Awkward yes, creepy no.
@@__oscrippy4959 They are not.
Not only were R2D2 and C3P0 witnesses but they were also the wedding gifts of both Padme and Anakin. R2 given to Anakin and C3P0 given to Padme
@@Mr.Ekshin precisely 😎
"For a drink" You must've sensed that line through the force😉
May the force be with you!
You gotta watch the animated series too! Tales of the Jedi sheds a lot of light on these times and previous events!
In Ep 6 he wants his son to join him. His son wants to redeem him. When he sees what Palpatine is doing to him, he saves his son.
The lake scenes on Naboo is from Lake Como in Italy
Yes, rewatching 4, 5, and 6 would be best before watching 7, 8, and 9
Quick trivia tidbit;
When the Assassin was hiding in the bar and got her hand cut off.
The shadows of Anakin were not doctored up in any way before he goes to get his mom, but damn that's Vaders helmet in the shadow.
Clones and stormtroopers are not the same
You asked if you could go there.
A lot of people are really down on this movie, but I think it only sags in the Anakin/Padme scenes (which you clearly were fine with!)
You're in for the biggie now: REVENGE OF THE SITH!!!!!
Shmi fied because she was tortured for over a month and they let her starve or barely let her eat or drink, this led her become weaker and weaker until she died right as Anakin just had rescued her.
you wont want to miss the clone wars animated series. that fits in next
💜🤖 alò Christy, yes there’s an actor playing inside the suit of C3PO since the very first movie, he is Anthony Daniels and also is his own voice we hear… he really is C3PO🤖💜
15:37 "Attachment is forbidden."
And that would be a dealbreaker, for me.
Thanks for taking the time to react all the way from Colombia! You rock!
I've been to Colombia once, but it was in Bogota. Not sure I'm familiar with the city or town you were in, sorry.
You are gonna love episode #3. Maybe you can do an extra long reaction for that one please? Thanks again and keep smiling 🙂👍🇨🇦
If you like to travel, go to Seville, Spain. Plaza de España is the location they used to film the palace scenes.
8:05 "Can he levitate with the Force?"
Apparently not, which is puzzling. I mean, with the Force, you can grab things that you can't readily reach with your hands. You should be able to grab the ground.
0:20 Nope; didn't notice. 😄
About time you came back with Episode II, I've been waiting for your reaction, me preguntaba cuando ibas a sacarla, anyway... you're here now and I know this is gonna be at another level, and it'll only get better as you go, I'm a stop my comment here as if in pause before the reaction and the second part after the reaction 'cause I don't like editing my comments so I'll leave it open until the end for the second part...
Well... I like to see you enjoy it and I bet you like this one better than Episode I, I'm sure, just like I'm sure you'll enjoy Episode III way better than this one, which is an experience I'm sure you won't forget for a very long time and just by hearing someone mention it years after, It'll bring nostalgia from these moments we're living here with you. Anyway your reactions and jokes are so much fun, you don't disppoint your subs, very well done Cristy, also I'm glad you're visiting your family and I hope you can have an unforgetable memory of those moments, record them, make them eternal, family is always no.1 in life, hugs and kisses from a hispanic guy from Guatemala, cuidense mucho y saludos a todos!!
What a beautiful comment, thank you! And thanks for stopping by to watch these movies with me!
Before watching the OT again, you must watch Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It takes place just before the events of Episode IV, some even call it "Episode 3.9". It's IMO the only good Disney Star Wars movie and it fits perfecetly with the OT.
based on your reaction to battle driod C3-PO you are gonna love the battle driods in the clone wars series :D
20:30 so Boba Fett is unaltered clone of Jango Fett, because Jango wanted a son, but was not married. And since he had pretty good relations with the people who were the cloners, then he could just ask for a clone and they would happily give him the clone .. Boba
After episode 3 you really should watch "Rogue One" as it connects the story between 3 and 4
Great reaction Cristy! The sand comment is infamous.
Muy buenos videos. Está película es muy buena, es la mejor saga de todos los tiempos. Espera a ver el episodio 3! Saludos desde México!
The assassin shooting at OBI-WAN at the beginning... Don't shoot the 6 foot man you're trying to kill who is just helplessly dangling from the 1 foot robot; no no... Shoot the smaller target. (WHY??)
She wanted him to fall to his death instead of being dead before he hit the ground. It's not that hard to figure out.
Hello Cristy!😊 I got a late start today. Sometimes I sleep in late on Saturdays.😉 I hope you had a good time vacationing back home! You might be back to Florida by now. Comments about The Chancelor should just be ignored. There are actors in both C-3PO and R2-D2.😉 Great reactions to your second film in the prequels, Cristy!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
I love Jar Jar so much he's so funny. so much unnecessary hate around the character
I fully agree
Not a huge Jar Jar fan myself but I totally agree that the hate was over the top.
Jar Jar was just a lot to handle coming off years and years of the original trilogy. He was really a target for kids too. I think a lot of long time, and older, fans felt like the Star Wars universe was being manipulated for positive reviews and money rather than giving the story respect.
@@yourlifeisagreatstory I hope some, if not all, of those people realized they were wrong.
@@ScooterBond1970 As was the way some fans acted on that hate.
6:18 I wish, I've been waiting almost a week for my overnight Prime delivery.
39:05. The hearts killed me. 😂
As my friends would say when watching this, in the theatre, trying to see it more than once, "Still hate it. STILL hate it."
Happy May 32nd!
When Ani’s mom died is when he coped an attitude & started his journey into becoming Darth Vader.
I like the new hair tbh. ❤
Regarding your general take on the story, you’re thinking along exactly the same lines I was when watching it when it originally came out. There is surprises to come, but we think a lot alike.
"He gets his arm slashed? And then he does it to his own son?"
Is it really foreshadowing when it's for a movie that already came out 20 years earlier? 🤔
It's post-foreshadowing.
There's no more literal foreshadowing than Anakin's shadow
Now you need to watch the 2008-2013 star wars animated clone wars series (not the movie) which fills in everything you want to know between episode II & III. You could binge it by yourself, don't need to do it on youtube.
I've got a theory on about Anikin and everything, but I will wait to share it with you until you see the next one. Otherwise, you might be able to piece together certain things before you see them. Which would ruin them for you. Have fun.
Love your reactions. Revenge of the Sith is the best episode. It's so intense and emotional.
After you are done with Ep3, don't forget to watch Rogue One and why not Solo as well. They both take place between the two trilogies.
You should watch Solo then Rogue One as they take place between eps III & IV, and then VII, VIII, & IX.
