Yes please I would love to hear the real one. Which comes with the radio. I’m very impressive the Chinese knock off. It works.But would love to hear the real one. Thanks again for letting us see this test very interesting.Alan from England 🍻👍
Will do! I have couple more things to try - one is try attach it to genuine military vehicular amplifier (without connecting data) - but I don't know if it require digital data to agree frequency, set band pass filters - or it will just amplify what it gets - amplifier cost much more than radio so I'm pretty scared to try it out - but it's on my table - if I could get hands on technical manual it will help me out understand how it operate. It's hard for me to assume they will let soldier burn amplifier if radio will TX without being correctly connected... so maybe it's not required - need do more research. Quality is amazing
Awesome video straight to the point!, but the reception test of that antenna va the stock one was missing maybe you can do that one next? Maybe with a local ham radio repeater or something like that
I will try RX but I have set up better system for that. It's on table and I'm also curious about results - best would be remotely play same thing and then do field swap of antenna.
VHF, I was testing it in field so it suppose to work better in rural - UHF have tendency to be trapped in forest. I at some point in time I will make test on UHF, and real vs knockoff - it's in queue
Have You check out using headphones? From my perspective there is difference in background static - voice is more in foreground on blade antenna and hiss is lower. That's just my interpretation but on db scale it's like doubling output power of transmitter.
I bought mine used locally from airsoft player. They are wide available on aliexpress, ebay - just make sure to ask if this is latest version that support KDU - they work out of box with military headsets and military batteries. Don't buy old one that is PLASTIC!!!
Thank you for the review. I like this radio due to its rugged design, ability to work with com tac headsets, long battery life, and KDU.
Then we are on same page! I love it, take to field many times - ruggedness cant be compared to anything civilian on market.
Yes do the comparison with the real MIL antenna please
I will but I'm playing with something else related to PRC 152 replica that will came first :>

@ElectronicNoobBlog You're welcome! Cheers, cheers!
