If possible, could you do a tutorial on feminising masculine features? You mentioned that this makeup made you look like your brother, so maybe you could get him on as a guest in that to directly mirror this video 😆

Happy I found this because I’m a woman with very masculine facial features. Far from soft and tiny. Every time I try to soften my face up, it just doesn’t look right. Recently I’ve decided I want to embrace my strong features and accentuate them instead of hiding/changing them. This video helped a lot!! Thank you!!

Something else that men use to look more masculine is blush.(especially men in Hollywood, check literally any marvel movie poster and you will never unsee it). I think it can really well shape the face for men, and adds that bit of color that is usually lacking in “masculine” make up routines. it can also be used to give a rugged or chapped look to any part of the skin that sticks out, like a brow bone or a chin.

I'll be honest, I must have looked at a couple dozen posters and movie clips, but I can't see it? I understand what you mean, there's a bit of darkness at that parts which isn't there in some other movies of the actors I looked at, but to me it looks more like contour or bronzer than a blush...?

I learn so much here, even if it’s not the kinda makeup thing to do for myself I still looooove learning from these videos, you do have a way of making it really engaging to watch!
I've always been so jealous of mens facial bone structure. Aka Chris Motionless & his beautiful cheekbones. How about a rock show makeup tutorial for the boys? My boyfriend is super into glam rock & I always see some insane male looks at shows.
This was super helpful and unexpected! My partner is trans masculine and started medically transitioning a few months ago, and he has a similar chin/face shape and fair skin as you. Yesterday he let me play around with contour on his face and this gives me some better ideas for how to practice it next time! xo
A couple years back, i dressed up like a male construction worker for Halloween. I did a ton of research on contouring and eyebrows and stuff. I think you nailed it!!

Thank you so much for this-- this is one of the most informative and thorough masculine makeup videos I've seen yet. As an afab person who came out as non-binary a few months ago, and is recognizing some discomfort and dysphoria with how I used to do my makeup and how I present (dressing very hyper-femme, as well as being a dancer and wearing exaggerated stage makeup for shows), I've been struggling lately with how I am perceived, and am wanting to come across as more masculine, so as not to be misgendered as easily... I love makeup, it's such an art form, and can be so transformative-- haha, trans-formative-- anyway, bottom line is, I'm grateful. Thanks for sharing this
So cool! I’m a woman and also a photographer/self portrait artist. There’s actually a photo I want to do where I’d need to look as masculine as possible, and tutorials on this subject are extremely difficult to find! This is by far the best one I’ve seen. Thank you for all the useful tips!!
I super appreciate this type of content! Not everyone is trying to look super femme when they do makeup. You can do both (wear makeup and be masc)✨ The only other video I've found helpful for this sort of video is Lisa Eldridge's video for masculine/androgynous makeup from years ago.
Might seem random to some, but i needed this so badly. Thankyou so much for making this video. There are so many resources to help transfemmes fight dysphoria with makeup, but so freaking little for transmascs. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
Umm great content! I can't see myself wanting to apply make-up in this way but I watched from start to end. Super interesting for all and I'm sure helpful to many.
Emphasizing the glabella (the area between the eyebrows) also adds to the masculinization of the face! I've also heard of this feature being addressed as a "bossed forehead", versus a more traditionally "feminine" rounder and flatter forehead. I learned this from videos of facial feminization surgeries, which address this, the chin and jaw, and the nose!!!
As someone who doesn't understand what's a demibody, a cis girl, if trans woman means you're a woman transitioning to man or vice versa, I like learning about makeup techniques and color theory. Colorful eyeshadow looks are my favorite.
THANK YOU SO MUCH. OH MY GOD. THANK YOU. I love makeup, but I have a very androgynous face except my eyes, cuz browbone lol. I’ve been waiting for a video like this for so long omg.

Thank you so much for this! I'm a trans guy, pre T, who loves to wear makeup but always feels like it makes me look very feminine. I'm definitely gonna use these contour and highlighting tricks from now on! This helped me a bunch!
This is great for crossplay, thank you
this is amazing!! thank you so much!
id love to see some 'masculine' or less feminine eyeshadow looks
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
As a non binary person I don't like looking so fem and I was trying to look more masc. This is very helpful, thank you!!!!
THANK YOU I NEED THIS FOR MY COSPLAYS!!!
The fact that I’ve been searching for a good contour makeup for men, and I finally found it through a woman. Thank you!!
Here you go again making kick ass content. Love you and your page, Alex.
I feel like that’s going to be SO useful ❤️
I learn so much here, even if it’s not the kinda makeup thing to do for myself I still looooove learning from these videos, you do have a way of making it really engaging to watch!
Having my face done by you is on my bucket list. 🙏🏼💖
I’m passing this on to my trans son. Thank you and you are so LOVED!!! ♥️👏🏻♥️
Reading all of these comments make my heart warm❤❤ sending love to you all. Congrats on the awesome video Alex:*
I’m first today so let me tell you: you are phenomenal!! Your chill personality, your beauty, your attitude to life ,… even your brother is great 😊!!! Keep this whole thing up 👏👏👏💖
😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Absolutely LOVE the way you just get right into your video!!! No BS!!
Also TY for always making content that actually shows different makeup techniques & how to do them!!! You are a badass!!! 🥰✌❤
Love these videos! Would be really cool to see before and after side by side snapshots at the end of the videos if possible :)
This is great for theater and movie acting!!! Huge talent, Alex!
Thanks for sharing this
Same journey here ^^
You can do both (wear makeup and be masc)✨
The only other video I've found helpful for this sort of video is Lisa Eldridge's video for masculine/androgynous makeup from years ago.
Drag King makeup tutorials are helpful, but it can be hard to translate that into more natural looking makeup.
So many makeup youtubers wouldn't be comfortable doing this, it's awesome that you are so secure
Im a straight biological female and all, but I wanna cosplay one of the guys from my school so much I hope this helps me :D Thank youu!!!
I love how you said depends on what your goals are 😂 when referring to the natural-ness of the contouring you did
That's pretty cool and thoughtful. Pretty sure a lot people are excited about it. Thank you
I’ll definitely be trying some of these techniques out, thank you! ☺️
Whoa. I was literally about to recommend you do this video topic, you always explain why we contour/highlight where we do so well, thank you :)
Your creative and artistic abilities are astounding!!! Blessings to you, Alex!✌💚🙏
Might seem random to some, but i needed this so badly. Thankyou so much for making this video. There are so many resources to help transfemmes fight dysphoria with makeup, but so freaking little for transmascs. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
I love this representation! Thank you!!
Loved this, you should do one to accentuate typical female features too! 😊
You are gorgeous; love it.
Can you do a look using lavender eyeshadow?
I love this video so much🖤🖤 I've been trying this for a while but haven't really mastered it, this gave me a bunch of tips I'm gonna try!
It’s crazy how much of a difference this makes. She looks like Michael Cera after the highlight on the nose bridge!
3d artist texturing their first face here, and I say thank you for the info, let's see if this works
I'm sharing this with my friend (trans guy), I'm sure he'll find this sooooooooooo useful.
Thank you for sharing this
Love ya ❣
I’m a cis man but I present in a more androgynous way. This video was very fascinating and very helpful.
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been wanting to learn how to do this!
What an amazing video!! Thank you Alex for being so different
okay but you look super attractive with this alex!
Also, I think the musculature of the neck and collarbone are also somewhat important to bring the entire look together!
When u said the wider contour trick I just realised I've been doing that to make my nose look smaller 👁👄👁
No wonder it didn't work
😂 It's a common mistake! 🙌🏼
Please do different types of nose n jawline contouring..
This is actually perfect for me. My face is very round and I'm not good at "cutting" it.
And blend blend blend
That’s the best tip 👌🏼
You have a video for everything I am so, so grateful for this, it’s been so difficult to find a good tutorial on tiktok
As someone who cosplays in my free time for fun, I love this video, its very simple and well explained it helped me a ton as i was terrible in make up before
