I reckon it must be down to how big the queen's head or natural features are already. If you have a natural big head and big eyes etc. Then the looks tend to be more intense like Trixie's, Bianca's etc. But there are some queen's like Courtney, plastique etc. That have already fairly dainty facial features and small heads for guys then you can get away with doing a more natural looking glam.
I love how everyone chooses their iconic makeup look while Plastique is like "Here's my basic morning routine." 😀

Right! Like I see bitter old men and women who don’t wear makeup and make it a personality trait yelling about how natural is better- fishy drag is anything but natural, and yet it’s gorgeous. I guess it is the most “natural” looking femme drag you can do though. I enjoy like, pointy drag- I can’t explain it, but when people like Violet Chachki or Katya Zamolodchikova emphasize the eyeliner and don’t do all of that cheap sh*t people like Trixie or Bianca Del Rio do (love her, no tea) I think it’s gorgeous. An accent is literally just speaking another langue with the sounds and tone that you learned to use in your first langue. It is the easiest way for you to pronounce a word. I don't have any noticeable accent until I come across a word I haven't heard of or I've only read before, and you bet my accent pops in a little bit.
I think anyone who is truly fluent in a second langue raised an eyebrow at Michelle's comments.
I speak with a significantly deeper voice, with sounds closer to the back of my mouth, with a totally different melody and overall faster when I speak English from when I speak Swedish. So in a lot of ways, it feels weird and very very different from how I'm used to hearing my voice.
So I get what Plastique was talking about when she described it as her real voice. I would consider how I speak in Swedish to be the way my voice sounds, and a bigger part of my identity.
It's so different that to some extent I feel like people who have only ever spoken to me in English haven't gotten to know me fully, because they don't know my voice. If you have ever gotten to know a new person while you were sick and was super raspy or lost your voice, it is a very similar feeling.
If I speak English with a strong Swedish accent then my voice, tone, melody sounds more like I'm used to hearing and using my voice. And it comes automatically and easily if I just relax and use my Swedish sounds while talking English.
To me my english with a super strong swedish accent feels more like "my voice" than my "normal" English one.
Not everyone needs to follow the accent of a country as long as information is understood. Imagine you speak American English and go to Singapore, then you will need to switch the accent to Singaporean? Is it comfortable and CAN YOU actually do that? Be inclusive and give people their own FREEDOM to speak whatever accent they want instead of being xenophobic you mono-lingual human!
