As a Nigerian, I must say that Tanzania is a beautiful place! I lived in the peaceful city Of Dar Es Salaam. A particular suburb called Kariakoo. I was amazed that during my 8 months business visit to Tanzania, the Power went off only once and it was announced via text message earlier in the day before the evening time when it went off....So, it wasn't like a new development. We already knew it'd go off! I was impressed also by the cleaning of the market at early hours of the morning. The way the tankers were only allowed to run at early hours of the morning and the neatness & politeness of the cops there! To even surprise me the most, their uniform was white on white LoL....I enjoyed all my stay there but wasn't fully satisfied cos I didn't see any Nigerian restaurant where I could eat any of our favorite dishes throughout my stay there! Also enjoyed that, the locals were willing to assist me at anytime during my outings. The cleanliness is what I marvelled at the most! If you drank some water, you'll have to carry the plastic can till you locate a trash can cos if you littered it on the floor, you'd be penalized...that's NOT what a government does ; it's what The individuals also ensured. I was pleased by that! The safety also when going out at late hours of the night with what we call Danfo in naija even as early as 1am was topnotch! I remember asking a friend I met if they'd rob me of my phone while sitting inside the bus and she was smiling so loud. Inside of me, I was thinking about "one chance" bus experience...But she told me that every bus was registered and so, NO drivers could try such...I was impressed! Naija needs to improve a great deal in so many ways!! Overall, I didn't leave without becoming an east African hubby lol ...I call it my second home away from home (naija) & and home (Europe)....God bless Africa...God bless Tanzania 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
