Goodness me that area around Foxhall and Bolton Street really has fallen on hard times. Still an interesting drive around vlog Stephen even if it was in the rain.
I'm 59 now and haven't been to Blackpool in years, but I do fondly remember great hoildays there as a kid and later as a young man, it's a shame to see those back streets in such a run down state but des[ite that I'll always have a soft spot for Blackpool.
Another great video Stephen, have you ever thought about putting videos out about your storm chasing, tried to ask you on the live stream but you didn't see it. I think you'd get a lot of views. Be safe.

I have some future predictions. 1. Leroy is unmasked as the head of the e bike bandits gang 2. Chris higgit opens a cafe on cookson street with the name fry paradise. 3. The ardwick put the pints up to £2 and the prom shelters are packed to the point old doris can't get a seat.
The old town hall reminds me of the old Faxhall Market building similar style I think it had a little cliock tower on the side above the door. I don't know why Bolton Street is a 2 way street its way to small & I stay in Alexandra Road ❤
my first ever job at 16 (1996) was in the Lyndene hotel as a kitchen porter, at that time the hotel wasnt up to the corner but the owners ambition was to buy the whole block. The head chef at the time was a great bloke and his brother was the DJ in the old Flying handbag.
Just a quick idea . Halloween coming soon so why not take a trip to woodplumpton we’re Meg Shelton is buried . Is a big stone and there a story why and if you look closely you can even see Blackpool tower in the distance just a thought .

Blackpool has certainly change since 1970 been trolling your videos and I can't find my old school. It was inside of a building. You had go under a arch through big old black cast iron gates into school playground. It was Saint Johns primary. It was surrounded by tall buildings. I saw Blackpool central pier burn in 1973. The heat we felt on the promenade.
This is only snapshot of what’s actually going on up and down country it’s full on major concern and red flag plus national scandal !! ..UK is and has been in decline since brexit pandemic and cost of living crisis. Not to mention joke of a government 🤡 who btw couldn’t run a bus run ultimately they all contributed to this very sad situation people 😭

Well weather permitting we will having a Friday night out in Blackpool, the Ardwick the best pub for Karoke
Notice the wall at the side of the Gynn pub is the same brick & design as the wall at the front of the Imperial Hotel.. honest
There has been an inn on the Gynn site since the early 1800's.

Blackpool has to be the only city in the world where the bad part of town is the oceanfront.
Anywhere else the beach would be prime real estate.
It is a strange thing, but the further away from town, the more expensive the properties become.
