It was more like the automakers frowned upon this. I believe a Toyota 4Runner had some minor damage here. And the lost GoPro camera.

Take note, you can lock it in and in any mode, some people use comfort when off road. Sport essentially would be a rally mode. Snow mode is meant to reduce over-slipping, where as when it's locked, it lets them spin enough to always have grip

Thanks Dave - enjoyed the video. As Vlad commented on, I have no intention of using the Palisade off road, LOL. However, its nice to know it's capable in limited situations.

I have a 2020 Palisade . Not the AWD but most of the bells and whistles. Every day I can't wait to drive it. And with a towing capacity of 5000 lbs we are getting a travel trailer soon.

On one of the reviews that I watched the individual claimed that the ride was bumpy...and that you could feel every imperfection of the road. I watch this video and I don't see that at all. Thank you for the various camera angles. You can see the tires bouncing around however you don't appear to be moving around very much.

Great review! Would you consider to do a trailer towing review with Palisade? There is no videos of what Palisade can do and it has 5,000lb towing capacity. I would consider this vehicle to replace my awd Sienna minivan and diesel SUV so I could have only one and still be able to do multiple things with it. Again, Thank you for your off road review!

Not considering aesthetics/appearance at all... Palisade or Telluride? Are both equally capable? Each AWD system performs equally? Or do you feel that one system is slightly better? What are you thoughts in terms of build quality? I believe the Palisade is manufactured in South Korea and the Telluride in Georgia.

Can you please say honestly how Hyundai Palisade v6 gdi engine is? Is this very good quality v6 engine? Will this engine run 500k to 600k km? I want to know because I have a confusion to choose from Hyundai Palisade V6, Volkswagen Atlas sel V6, and Honda Pilot Elite V6, please give me the right information because I want to choose a V6 car which will run perfectly 500k to 600k km without any big issues...

On the Palisade/Telluride Hyundai did NOT use Dynamax AWD that its been used on many of its vehicles for many years or its own in house developed Genesis HTRC AWD system using high tech differentials like Torsen, Haldex, GKN's Twinster, BorgWarner's GenV AWD. Instead Hyundai got greedy and slapped on a CHEAP FAKE BRAKE AWD system on the Palisade/Telluride which uses Open Differentials that send the torque the wheel of least resistance (traction) and uses the brake on that spinning wheel to send the torque the other side. Honda's SHAWD is BY FAR a better AWD system so is Mazda's CX9 Intelligent AWD and Subaru, VW, Audi and most of the other AWD system which competes with Palisade/Telluride. THIS is a MAJOR DEAL BREAKER, I will not buy a vehicle that uses CHEAP FAKE BRAKE AWD system.
