    Most importantly: the qualifications need to be equivalent to German standards.
    In order to know whether your qualifications is comparable, you need to understand how the German teacher training works.
    First of all, the teacher training in Germany is organized differently depending on the "Bundesland" (state). What all states have in common are the requirements of "1. Staatsexamen" and "2. Staatsexamen". Depending on what kind of school you would like to teach, there might be rules as far as the subjects are concerned. For example, all secondary school teachers have to have 2 subjects that they teach. That means that you would need to have majored in two subject. Furthermore, besides their two majors, prospective teachers will also have studied education sciences/ pedagogy and sometimes psychology.
    In order to get the "1. Staatsexamen" you need to have completed a "Lehramtstudiums" with your two majors + education sciences etc. A Staatsexamen Course programme lasts 9 Semesters. Other German Bundesländer use the Bachelor-Master system. So, after having completed your Bachelor and your Master of Education, you will be awarded your "1. Staatsexamen". Now comes the second phase of the teacher training: the "Referendariat" which is organized/ conducted by the Bundesland/ state. During this phase prospective teachers "work" in school under the supervision of a fully licensed teacher. Alongside their practice hours in school they attend seminars a few days a week where they complete coursework with fellow teacher trainees. The "Referendariat" terminates with a final exam which is basically a 2h class taught by the teacher trainee in front of their supervisors. The supervisors assess the teacher trainee during this 2h-class and do a further assessment during a colloquium. Once the colloquim has been successfully passed, the teacher trainee becomes a fully qualified teacher in Germany.

      @visalibrary  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, gaining one year of teaching experience in a primary school and achieving at least a B1 level in German could improve your chances of finding a job as a teacher in Germany. Your English proficiency and TESOL certification are also valuable, especially for teaching languages. However, the job market can be competitive, and each school or region in Germany may have specific requirements. Additionally, understanding the German education system and meeting any necessary certification or qualification requirements will be crucial. It's advisable to research specific job opportunities and requirements in the area of Germany where you wish to work.

    Hey, so I grew up in germany and want to move to england to become a teacher there. However I just wanted to know whether I would have the option to return to germany at some point and still continue being a teacher? Best case scenario I would love England so much that I would stay there but maybe I would also like to come back.
    So just in theory, would you say that is a possibility?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, it’s definitely possible! Once you’re qualified and have teaching experience, you can return to Germany and teach again. Just make sure your teaching credentials from the UK are recognized in Germany or take any required steps for certification when you return. Good luck! 😊

    I wish to do masters in history or political science in a good German university so what will be the scope of getting any other job or working there as a teacher? And should i meet all the eligibility criteria said in this video to become a teacher or professor after doing PhD there with my above condition? Currently I'm doing BA History in India

      To work in Germany as a teacher after completing a Master's in History or Political Science, you would generally need to:
      Meet Language Requirements: Proficiency in German is often essential for teaching roles, especially in public schools.
      Understand the German Education System: Familiarize yourself with the requirements and standards for teachers in Germany, which can vary by region (Bundesland).
      Complete Relevant Qualifications: For teaching in schools, additional educational qualifications in teaching may be required beyond a Master's or PhD.
      Consider Academic Positions: For roles as a university professor, a PhD is typically necessary, along with a strong research background and publications.
      Acquire Work Authorization: Ensure you have the appropriate work visa or permit to work in Germany after your studies.

    thank you for such a great video, I want to work as a chemistry teacher in Germany and teach chemistry in English, I have experience, a master's degree in chemistry and B1 German language. What are the requirements for these schools?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      If your goal is to work as a chemistry teacher in Germany, teaching in English, there are several key considerations. Your master's degree in chemistry is a strong qualification, but ensure its recognition in Germany. While your B1 level of German is a good starting point, some schools might prefer higher language proficiency. Non-EU citizens usually require a work visa, and having your qualifications recognized by German authorities is important. Look for job opportunities in international or bilingual schools that offer programs in English, and emphasize your teaching experience in your application. During interviews, be prepared to discuss your teaching methods, how you'll adapt to the German education system, and your approach to teaching chemistry in English. Once you secure a job offer, you'll need to apply for a work permit and residency. Remember to directly contact schools you're interested in to understand their specific requirements and processes.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      To immigrate to Germany as an English teacher in a Kindergarten, you’ll need to meet several requirements, including having at least an A2 level of German language proficiency, as your employer has requested. Here’s what you should do:
      Start working on obtaining your A2 level certification in German as soon as possible. This will be essential not only for your visa application but also for effective communication in your work environment.
      Since you have a job offer, you'll likely be applying for an employment visa. Ensure you gather all required documents, such as your employment contract, proof of qualifications, and your language certification.
      Make sure your teaching qualifications are recognized in Germany. This may involve having your credentials evaluated and recognized by the appropriate German authorities.
      Germany requires all residents to have health insurance. Ensure you have either public or private health insurance that meets the country’s requirements.
      Once you arrive in Germany, you will need to apply for a residence permit. Your employer’s support and a valid job contract will be key components in this process.
      Since your employer has given you 5 months to complete these requirements, start early to ensure everything is in order. Consider reaching out to the German embassy or consulate in your country for specific guidance.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      To apply for a teaching position in Germany, you typically need a recognized teaching qualification, proof of relevant teaching experience, and proficiency in German (often at least B1 level, but it can vary). You'll also need a valid employment contract from a German school. If you're a foreign national, you will need to apply for a work visa and later a residence permit. It's recommended to have your qualifications recognized by the appropriate German authorities.

      To become a teacher in Germany, especially if you're looking to teach subjects like German, you'll need to meet several specific qualifications. First, you should have a strong command of the German language; proficiency at a C1 or C2 level is typically required. You also need a relevant university degree and a teaching qualification from your home country. In some cases, you might need to undergo additional training or an adaptation period to meet German teaching standards. It's advisable to contact the education ministry of the specific state in Germany where you wish to work, as educational requirements can vary by region.

      Yes, with your qualifications (a graduation degree and a B.Ed, which is a Bachelor of Education) and 7 years of experience in primary and pre-primary education, you are potentially eligible to apply for a teaching position in Germany. However, there are several key requirements and steps you need to consider:
      Language Proficiency: Proficiency in the German language is crucial for teaching in most schools, especially public schools. You would typically need to achieve a B2 or C1 level of proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
      Recognition of Qualifications: Your educational qualifications, including your B.Ed degree, need to be recognized in Germany. This process is managed by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany (KMK). You can submit your qualifications for recognition through the "Anabin" database or directly through the relevant state authorities.
      Types of Schools: Consideration of different types of schools is important. While public schools require fluency in German and recognized qualifications, international schools and private institutions may have different requirements, potentially offering more flexibility for non-German speakers.
      Visa and Work Permit: To work in Germany, you would need a visa and a work permit. For teaching positions, the Blue Card EU or a standard work permit are common options, depending on your qualifications and the job offer.
      Job Market and Opportunities: Research the job market for teachers in Germany, especially for those who are willing to teach at primary and pre-primary levels. Opportunities can vary significantly by region and school type.
      Willingness to Learn German: Your readiness to learn German enhances your chances significantly, not just for meeting the language requirement but also for integrating into the community and understanding the educational culture.

    Hello. I am from Pakistan. I am 40 years old. I have 8 years teaching experience in Pakistan and now i have been teaching English in Thailand since 2 years. My qualifications are Masters in English literature and linguistics and B.Ed( Bachelor in Education). Is there any chance i csn get a job as English teacher in Europe? Hello! With your qualifications in English literature and linguistics, as well as a Bachelor in Education, you have a strong foundation to pursue teaching opportunities in Europe, including Germany. Your teaching experience in Pakistan and Thailand further strengthens your profile. Having some knowledge of the German language and familiarity with Germany from your visits are also advantageous.
      To secure a teaching job in Germany or other parts of Europe, you would typically need to have your educational qualifications recognized by the relevant educational authority in the country where you wish to work. Additionally, improving your proficiency in the German language to at least a B2 level could significantly enhance your chances, as most schools would require a good command of the language for teaching and communication purposes.
      You might want to start by applying for teaching positions in international schools or language institutes that often look for native or fluent English speakers. Networking with educational institutions and using job portals specific to education jobs in Europe can also be beneficial.

    Is tefl necessary for Science teacher to teach in Germany?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      Teaching Science in Germany does not require a TEFL certification. Instead, you will likely need a German-recognized teaching certificate, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a similar subject area, as well as a strong command of the German language.
