Such a shame this song never got any vocals. This feels like the LP guys just saying “look back at everything we’ve made and accomplished” it just feels like a reflection song and sounds so emotional
Technically it does have vocals because this is a rework of “So Far Away” a Hybrid Theory demo from 1999. They tried many times to make that song work but I think this was their last attempt before they discarded it for good.
They used to write songs by doing the music first and then adding lyrics later, which is why they often change so drastically between versions of a song. A lot of the time they couldn't make a working vocal melody even though they liked the music so they ended up with tons of these instrumentals.
Yay!!! My favorite LPU song finally got released along with the other gems!!! I also really love all the visuals!, they fit so well and are all beautiful just like Linkin Park's music!
I am a 30 years old male born in the early 90s, I am not an emotional person. And I'm literally crying right now! For me, The Soundtrack is a breath of lost fresh air, the light of a beautiful peaceful time. An echo of the lost faith in a better future. I am grateful for this emotions. Masterpiece.
Everyone is emotional. It’s human and you can’t help it. Anyone who says they don’t cry are just protecting themselves from the #1 emotion that they hate, embarrassment. But it’s okay to cry and there is no need to be embarrassed. It’s completely normal.
I’m 32 born in 1990 and I feel the exact same as you bud. Tears in my eyes. It’s like a lost memory that never existed. But hearing all these songs now, unreleased demos etc. I can’t even describe how I’m feeling. Such joy and sadness all at once. R.I.P Chester, you touched so many of our lives for the better ❤
It's like the soundtrack that plays in your mind when you leave one chapter of your life to move onto the next one. You think of all the faces and places you've come to know and love, and all the faces and places you'll never see again, and all the emotions experienced alongside all them. And at the same time, you anxiously relish in the thoughts of what's yet to come.
You know... Not far from the truth being in high school between 2001 and 2005. If I had a camera phone and could post videos and pictures of all my experiences back then. This could easily be in the background
In the last 10 years I cant think of a time where I felt the need to just stop and actively listen to a song. This one had me stop, close my eyes and just listen.
this is so damn cool. I'm living for all these unreleased instrumentals. I'm definitely gonna have a bunch of them playing on a loop to help inspire some writing
Imagine if LP released a 3D RPG adventure game, and while you play, during fights, walks and cutscenes, your hear all the demos fitting perfectly for each part of the game (this one couldbe perfect of the intro of the game), and in the end, especially in the credits part, you hear only Chester's voice singing.
They released a mobile game back in 2011 or 2012. I think it was called 8-bit revolution or something like that. I remember the reward after completing the game was getting to download their unreleased song “Blackbirds.” They didn’t have any other unreleased demo songs in the game but I think there were 8-bit versions of their album tracks
Read a comment like 4-5 years ago on a this song via youtube and it literally felt like what the person described it. This song would be like a theme or nd expression in sound format as if to say "Look. Look at how far I've come." This isn't excatly what how the comment went but if you listen to it in the format of everything coming togther espcially with everyons song they've made and what they've gone through.
Obrigado Linkin Park, obrigado Chester.
I just noticed that the drums and the layers of oneshots and some samples are dirwctly from "So far away" and its own Demo. That is GENIUS, i prefer the other 2 versions tbh ❤️
Dunno about you guys but I think we all need a tour so we can all meet up and sing along to the songs that literally saved us and kept us all going, come on lp let's go, we can all carry the massively missing voice of our Chester, we the supporters/ family will sing to the heavens. Massive stadium tour for a massive sing along 🤘
God damn dude…. I’m 26 and all I had was meteora and reanimation so these releases are killing. So much emotion packed into small intricate intervals. Chills and that creep along my neck, every time. I can’t imagine what was cut from reanimation
The bizarre reason behind the scrapping of this instrumental piece is actually found in Linkin Park Undeground 11 disc. According to Mike Shinoda: "This song actually sounded too poppy, thus it was scrapped." However, it is indeed quite a catchy tune and uplifting as well. It could fit as a soundtrack to a small movie...
I don’t know what it is but it reminds me of the song Naked from the Goo Goo Dolls. An upturn melody but a hint of melancholy, a shame they didn’t put lyrics to it
Such a shame this song never got any vocals. This feels like the LP guys just saying “look back at everything we’ve made and accomplished” it just feels like a reflection song and sounds so emotional
We can make them for him bruh 👍

@A Hogammer same! Especially since Mike wrote on LPU11 that they tried some vocal treatments during the making of this one
There's an older version of this song that has vocals called So Far Away
if linkin park had an anime, this would be the opening, idk why i feel like this can defined linkin park as a whole
Nah this would be the ending
So far away
Hurry
Soundtrack
This Song is so beautiful guys... I love this its sounds so emotional.
Every instrumental is amazing I wish they made songs on them I can't imagine the sound so dam good I miss chester I miss linkin park
Yay!!! My favorite LPU song finally got released along with the other gems!!!
I also really love all the visuals!, they fit so well and are all beautiful just like Linkin Park's music!
Gotta love the power of AI lol

Awesome, I absolutely love this demo too
“An echo of the lost”
You could say that this song was indeed, lost in the echo
@@RJISmy my how the subconscious world such marvels of poetry.

Such an under rated and beautiful instrumental. It really could be the end credits outro to a movie about Linkin Parks career
it sounds like how i imagine the early 2000s were like by the song man 🥲
Me who was born in 2006 😮
@@Shreysoldier i was born on the day when meteora dropped

@@sayuchriss damn your entrance song was the Meteora album 😂

i listen to this everyday and it never gets old.
Finally! Best LPU track.
Def relate to this dude 🫶🏼
This doesn't sound like a meteora song but a very cinematic piece.
In the last 10 years I cant think of a time where I felt the need to just stop and actively listen to a song. This one had me stop, close my eyes and just listen.
Best instrumental ever !!!
this is so damn cool. I'm living for all these unreleased instrumentals.

So Far Away's drums are here!!! :D
This song makes me think of getting through a hard time with better things to come
Exactly
This sounds so beautiful it makes me happy and sad at the same time because i just wish we could here this with vocals
Good to see one of my favorites instrumentals finally released

Do you think the band is up listening too 👂I can only imagine how they feel along with the fans ❤
I personally agreed with you 100%, Missy.
Another one that I've enjoyed for years now I absolutely love this when it was on EP or something like that when I was a LP website member

This sounds so beautiful 🙌🏻❤️
Love how emotional this song is! bring back memories of a time when I was listening to Underground 11
holy moly this is awesome, sad it has no vocals but I'm glad we get to hear it regardless
Beautiful piece
This and Pepper are amazing❤
This is so early 2000's, majestic
1:48 the samples from “Coal” and “Pods”
Um pecado essa música não ter vocais. Certamente seria algo incrível!
What a track! Man I got so much emotional and happy at the same time.
This was another demo from LP Underground I I liked a lot. 🤗
This is what hope and determination sounds like

Que vibe boa 🤤❤️
I like how this has the same beat formula like (So Far Away Unreleased 1998 - Demo) 👌🔥 LP is awesome!
It even has the piano in the [rap verse]
fuckin fell inlove with this beat dude. thank you LP
Uma das minhas favoritas! Vibe muito boa.
This is amazing
This is so underrated I wish it had vocals, miss you Chester.

Songs like these are a real jewel!! It kinda reminds me of the sound of the late 90's...Very nostalgic!
After listening to these for many times, I just realised that the drum track here sounds the same as "So far away"
And hurry too..
@@BlacklistplaysBrasil"Hurry" is the demo for "So far Away" aswell, however..you're right
Amazing ❤
Amazing !! 😍
I love this demo in LPU
if Linkin Park was an anime, Program will be the opening and this will be the ending
this and cumulus are the best instrumentals of meteora demos
Amazing track
Truly beautiful.
These tracks are amazing. It's like I miss hearing them. Even though these are new... Nostalgic deluxe LP fam.
I think I just found the soundtrack of my life! 🤯
Is this the soundtrack for Making of Meteora?
This song feels like early 2000s put into a song

Amazing, Nostalgic, Emotional 🫶
Something about this song makes me feel happy, sad, wistful, and content all at the same time. Or is all that put together just how nostalgia feels?
This track is my daily motivation now
Thank you
