Damn, this song might just change everything, Mike absolutely killed it on the vocals. I'd absolutely love to hear an entire new LP album in this style with Mike as the singer, not just the rapper. Lost and the few other newly released songs weve got with Chester are incredible and have offered so much healing for ppl, but this song with Mikes new vocals could be a way for LP to enter a whole new era imo
When Chester passed, I sat on my porch and cried. I SOBBED. Every one of these new songs is so bittersweet. A time capsule from 2003 that breaks my heart all over again. Much respect to LP for continuing this beautiful legacy.

For me, this song (along with So Far Away from the HT Demos) really demonstrates Mike Shinoda's potential as a singer, even before the era of MTM and ATS. It also demonstrates certain influences from Deftones, in particular the guitar riff in the bridge. (reminds me of Street Carp)

36 this year checking-in. Seriously, LP has been on rotation since 9th grade. This song is new fave.
Waking up, checking youtube and the first thing you see is a new LP release, life ain't so bad after all. ❤️ LP ❤️
Man I'm loving this song. Another instant classic already for me. LP forever
My god this is my new favourite, I wished so bad a Chester scream in that hard part but damnn really this is soo good. I love you linkin park, thanks for this unrealeased song.
It’s a tragedy this never made the cut for an album. This is a 10 outta 10 LP record for me.
My love for Linkin Park is massive ❤️
@Laura Lyn over 1k comments telling ppl to check out a band? def a bot lol
2:03 I really love this part
RIP Chester, what a fantastic song with Mikes vocals
damn shenoda can keep chesters spirit flowing through this band for sure. that much i know. theres no replacing him but you can tell hes with them in their music. beautiful.
Linkin Park got me though the worst of my depression when i was in middle school. I still cherish my copy of Minutes to Midnight because it was the first Linkin Park cd i ever owned.
This song is amazing, and I will always love this band.
Since these songs started coming out lately. Life has gotten alot easier to deal with again. I used the releases before to fight the hard times. Thank you always and forever for the passion and true music to heart. Love LP.
This proved Linkin Park can release new songs with just Mike and we will still love them
This was recorded in 2002
This was written in 2002 as part of their Meteora Album. It's 20 years old
@@FrogInTheSunshine no he’s not lmao
@@axscend9147 yes he is, as this was recorded 20 years ago when they were making Meteora.
Nope
Damn, this song might just change everything, Mike absolutely killed it on the vocals. I'd absolutely love to hear an entire new LP album in this style with Mike as the singer, not just the rapper. Lost and the few other newly released songs weve got with Chester are incredible and have offered so much healing for ppl, but this song with Mikes new vocals could be a way for LP to enter a whole new era imo
Listening rn let’s see if you’re right…
He already stated this will not happen /sadly/
@@_dIIJAY true.
I mean he has already said something like he doesn't want that before. I think he said it after OML.
@@_dIIJAY not so sadly, honestly, it would be even more sad if they continued and replaced Chester..
The guitar riff from 2:05 got us head banging.
Keep em coming.
CB❣
Lp😇
2:05 that riff is NASTY I love it
Pure meteora vibes. Sends us 10 years back. Thank you LP for preserving such amazing tracks. ♥️
20 years buddy.
@@jakemensing6672 100% agree with u
How are these unreleased tracks better than some current bands?
This song plus the others are from Meteora now with the reissue.
@@LordRae *most
The guitar overpowering the vocals is what makes this track truly unique
When Chester passed, I sat on my porch and cried. I SOBBED. Every one of these new songs is so bittersweet. A time capsule from 2003 that breaks my heart all over again. Much respect to LP for continuing this beautiful legacy.
I cried in my shower the next morning listening to Leave Out All The Rest. The lyrics broke me down.
Listened to this x30 already, some reason it's got me. Real good song writing! Love how all the different parts roll into each other
Massive, No Roads Left y Roads Untraveled demuestran lo crack que puede llegar a ser Mike melódicamente con su voz...
Invisible, in between
Sorry for now, so far away
Mike, you sound AMAZING. All these sequences of church windows make me hope that Chester is in heaven and he's happy up there. ❤❤❤
YES!!! This has been amazing. RIP Chester. You left more reasons to be missed than you could ever know.
This song has crept its way into my top 10 LP songs. That guitar and that drum at 2:06 slaps so hard! It’s my birthday today which is also the same day we lost the beautiful soul Chester 😢. Still hurts to this day that he is gone.
Probably my favorite song from this unreleased stuff
Mike has always sounded great..and if he decided to continue linkin park he would have mine and I'm sure many others blessings..
I wish they hadn't kept this masterpiece from us all these years I really love this
Thank you LinkinPark for continuing to make a new songs. Love you Mike!
not a new song. this was recorded for meteora
@@thiagocosta3953 for the majority it's new :)
The Lyrics~
The best of you (The best of you)
Never did much for you (Never did much for you)
I guess it's true (I guess it's true)
You can't really change the person you'll be
The least I can do is cut myself free
I heard the screaming in my dreaming every night
I awake and I'm still mistaking you for right
The worst of me (The worst of me)
Forget my best today (Forget my best today)
Don't laugh, you'll see (Don't laugh, you'll see)
I'll carefully choose the words that I say and try to pretend it, all is okay
I heard the scrеaming in my dreaming every night
I awakе and I'm still mistaking you for right
Broke myself and hoped I still could save some pace
Now I'm floating and controlling in this state of grace
I heard the screaming in my dreaming every night
I awake, and I'm still mistaking you for right
Broke myself and hoped I still could save some pace
Now, I'm floating and controlling in this state of grace
Love you Mike!
Linkin Park the gift that keeps on giving.
So beautiful to know we are still getting new music years later
RIP Chester ❤
The guitar riffs on this song …. Wow 🤟🏻
i'm just chaotically listening to this album's music here and there so randomly i don't even know where to start from THEY'RE ALL SO GOOD I'VE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER DAMN
I grew up listen this band. Thank you everything that you gave us. I can listen almost every songs from them. Chester and Mike were awesome artists.
Oh to have a re-recorded version of this. With more polish on that vocal track which by the way is incredible, MIKE ON HEAVIER STUFF. is a vibe im definitely supporting.
It's a pity that this song didn't make it to the album, it's so good compared to the songs that are out now, this one just takes the soul like the whole album
It's AI
@@timothyswindell4924 ?
@@twobyelectro the dude thinks it's chester singing but they are using an AI to make his voice. meanwhile its literally shinoda singing lol
@@amaterasu4186 yes its shinoda sing,AI cant do this job good
@@timothyswindell4924 nope, this is old record
Pure fire! Chester is no longer around, but he wouldn’t want LP to quit even with himself gone.
Love that Amen Break in the intro!!!!
A masterpiece. Thank you Linkin Park.
