@@KultClassic Not even really about "trash humans" its just this kind of game didn't click with the majority at the time, that is ok though. many of these underappreciated games end up getting popular later down the line. look at metal gear rising, excellent game but nobody really cared about it until recently. @@anaisgrace4358 That's just English localisation, defaulting to male pronouns for some reason. In the original Japanese script, you wouldn't be able to identify Trico's gender by any pronouns. Fumito Ueda himself once said in an interview that he views Trico as female, as it displays a "motherly" affection towards the boy; but he also said that he ultimately leaves it up to anyone whether to consider Trico male or female. So, if you consider Trico to be male, that's totally fine.

I needed to play it a second time, to like it. I needed to play it a third time to fell in love with it. But there is just one thing remaining for me. The landscape was most of the time to cramped for this huge animal. It would be so awesome if there would be some open space, so you could enjoy Trico´s height and speed a little bit more. Like in shadow of the colossus where you could ride your horse in such a huge landscape. This was breathtaking. Sometimes i couldn´t enjoy Trico´s movements in this small corridors. Sometimes it was suffocating and nothing for people with claustrophobia or fear of heights.
I can't believe I've only just found out this game existed. Massive fan of Shadow of the Colossus although I haven't played it since 2006, which is pretty much the last time I touched a games console. Tempted to get a PS4 so I can relive the adventures of Ico, Wander and now Trico! :)
unfortunately TLG's score lacked the uniqueness of ICO and SotC, this music is still certainly pretty, but is extremely similar to other atmospheric game scores such as Zelda BotW and so becomes rather generic, whereas ICO and SotC stand out as distinctly recognizable even today.

While this game struggled for many years to release, i’m so very thankful it did. Exact same type of experience as the two games it succeeds.
