U da goat. I have a request if you take them - I know these take a long time so I understand if you don’t wanna accept my request. But I’d like you to transcribe Ascenscion by Barry Harris. I love that song. I’ve transcribed the first like 10 seconds of it and it took me like 15 mins since I’m new to transcribing, so if you transcribed it I’d really appreciate it.

JIbjab, I think that is such a good suggestion: Barry Harris' "Ascension." That piece is so AMAZING. Every detail amazing, intro , theme , and solo. It seems like Barry Harris,
while completely himself, had a direct pipeline to the essences of Bud Powell, in the way he wrote and played that and so many things.And this is crazy to say, but I think when he gets time, AT can write "Ascension: for you very quickly, amazingly so. I say this from contact with this musician AT, a young man of many dimensions.Forgive me for answering for AT, but I ma pretty sure of this !
