As an alternate experiment, you could try giving the major South American leagues huge TV deals to see if they can actually beat European teams with those resources.
I wasn't seeing many Irish players on those teams so I'm betting that's what was holding them back for European competitions. We didn't get any updates on Ireland's international ranking so I don't have proof for it, but if you have to allocate 8 slots to homegrown in club and nation, and the players you're producing aren't very good, you're going to have poor depth. Without a deep squad you're likely to never get all the way in the CL but you can win some EL and ECL titles with a healthy run.
Is it possible/ what would happen if you give a league that is not a top league a bunch of money? Like let's say the Championship gets $5 billion but the Prem stays at whatever it is now.
You should do a video where the bottom league like in Scotland for example, you get a ridiculous TV deal and see how it changes the whole structure of the country. It would be interesting to see how it would affect the national team as well.
Great video as always Tom, you probably have loads of video ideas already, but to add to the list you could give a 19-22 year old the same attributes as a 30-34 year old striker to see how much and if age affects anything.
Experiment idea : I wonder what would happen if you put a rule there is in the Swedish league in the big ones : the teams need 9 players formed in the country, otherwise, for each of these players missing, you have to free a place on the bench.
It would be interesting to see you give this sum to a league in a country with a huge population like Indonesia. I feel like (a little unrealistically) Ireland could never dominate because they'd never have the same amount of homegrown talent as England. Let's see what happens when you give it to the 4th most populous country in the world... (plus lower leagues downloaded and added)
Really liked that you showed stadiums, but would've been nice to see if any of those stadiums hosted European finals... Y'know, as a saving grace for the fact that no Irish team won the UCL...
You can now do it via the in game editor, that's the easiest way. You can go into the pre-game editor and go to each individual club to set one up there or you can into a leagues advanced rules to do a league specific TV deal.
Do the same thing again but for both tiers in irish football, some of the lower teams have good youth facilities and can have players loaned in, also im a Waterford fc fan soooooooo
Whats the score with sport in Ireland now as over 40,000 watch FAI final and Irelands Rugby team are massive then as will this have a hit on Hurling and Gaelic Football.
Maaan, please make one of these in Polish Ekstraklasa. Pretty big country, 40m ppl, nice stadiums. There are some interesting clubs with pretty big fan bases. Also league system is like Bundesliga, so I think it’s better structured than Ireland or Wales.
I would assume that winning any competition is much harder, like a dominant team is permanently going to be in CL and since there is no more drop downs after league they have to win CL to have a win and teams under are likely gonna be worse and for them its the same story with CL/EL/ECL.
Ill have to a shit video about how ive won five world cups in a row with Ireland. Troy Parrott retired on 200+ international goals and scoring the winner in the WC final. Just like in real life.
Hello mate, could you create a Celtic league with Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Manx, Galician, Cornish and Bretons teams ? I suggest the following teams : - Rennes (France) - Nantes (France) - Lorient (France) - Brest (France) - Celtic Glasgow (Scotland) - Glasgow Rangers (Scotland) - Hibernians (Scotland) - Aberdeen (Scotland) - Celta Vigo (Spain) - Deportivo La Coruña (Spain) - CD Lugo (Spain) - Cardiff City (Wales) - Swansea (Wales) - Newport County (Wales) - Drogheda FC (Ireland) - Galway United (Ireland) - Derry City (Ireland) - Bohemians FC (Ireland) - Weymouth FC (Cornwall) - Peel AFC (Isle of Man)
What probavly ended up happening was that Ireland became a retirement league. High Wages for old players who still get to compete in Europe but probably don't face too much of a stiff competition in the domestic league. Sort of like France.
Haven’t watched yet but I assume that Bulgaria will somehow use this to win 2 successive world cups
It's always the way 😂 Although I didn't show it, I can confirm there were no wins for Bulgaria (or Ireland)
As an alternate experiment, you could try giving the major South American leagues huge TV deals to see if they can actually beat European teams with those resources.
Please, make it with O'Higgins of Chilean Premier League... I mean of the Chilena Primera División A
The answer is yes lol. If the Argentinanian and Brazilian leagues kept all their players it would rival any league in Europe
@@josephpotter7776 Supposedly. But we don't know how FM would handle that.
The UCD Bowl standing tall 90 years on is just hilarious... It shows that they've been the team to go up and down for all those years lol
Really liked how you showed the stadiums and top earners throughout the video
Glad you liked it!

For the stadium’s only Galway and Rovers got a new one, with pats moving to a rugby stadium. The Ryan McBride stadium opened a few years ago
So happy to see the league of Ireland in a video! And glad to see Dundalk winning!
Go Cork! Despite absent for 60 years in first division still making a name in last 30 years
Is it possible/ what would happen if you give a league that is not a top league a bunch of money? Like let's say the Championship gets $5 billion but the Prem stays at whatever it is now.
Like the Saudi's
You missed Shamrock Rovers in the finals of 2040/41 vs Everton
Gotta do this for some of the bigger leagues like in Portugal, Netherlands, Italy, Germany and France to see if any of them can dominate Europe
You should do a video where the bottom league like in Scotland for example, you get a ridiculous TV deal and see how it changes the whole structure of the country. It would be interesting to see how it would affect the national team as well.
Awesome video. It would be cool if you did a bigger league like Grecce or Serbia in the future
Nice to see Gary Lineker having a stadium named after him!
Love Derry building 2 stadiums and naming them after Ryan McBride
FINALLY IRELAND GETS THE LOVE
He has done this with northren irish teams before
@@alexendo2955 The republic of Ireland though
1:15 - also Shamrock Rovers in 40/41 went runners up
Keep it up mate, I had stopped playing FM a bit but your videos have got me right back into it!
5:04 the “Kasper Schmeichel Stadium” hosting a European Final 😂😂
I like your new way of editing 😊
I love the fact that the best stadium is named after a reading goalkeeper lol
Which one?
@@PAINNN666 The Luke Southwood Arena

great video! concise and to the point. and as an irish football fan, it was fascinating, apart from seeing my Shamrock Rovers falling terribly 😢
Excuse me sir I would love to Birmingham back in Europe. Hell I'd settle for safe mid table championship 🤣
Atletico losing the 41/42 UCL final in their own stadium is just tragic
Edit: Atletico won the 85/86 UCL final at the Bernabeu which is just bonkers
Hahaha the highs and lows!
You should do this with germany or italy or france to see how a 'big' league would handle this and if they'd overtrow england
Experiment idea : I wonder what would happen if you put a rule there is in the Swedish league in the big ones : the teams need 9 players formed in the country, otherwise, for each of these players missing, you have to free a place on the bench.
Repuation means a lot in FM. All the money in the world means little if players don't want to go there.

2:40 Only if those exact teams finish 8th 9th and 10th in the league haha
YESSS I've wanted you to do this for so long thank you!
Hope you enjoyed it!

Cracking vid Tom! 💯
I never know about Finland's clubs besides HJK... What a game.
Good video, would love to see the same for Norway
If this happened in real life the money would go missing 12 games into the season and half the teams would go out of business.
Hi Tom, how do you edit the TV deals? I had a go but it didn’t seem to work
You can now do it via the in game editor, that's the easiest way. You can go into the pre-game editor and go to each individual club to set one up there or you can into a leagues advanced rules to do a league specific TV deal.

Yeah would be nice to see the first division in aswell but obvs you have to download it 😒😒
Shamrock was in the final in conference league 2040/2041. ;)

Galway United Till I Die 🇱🇻
Great effort blues!
So if I am still alive in 90 years I may see us win 2 trophy's in Europe!
Excellent video nice to see league of Ireland getting done. Any save file available for this
rafael van der vaart arena and gary lineker stadium are wild, especially as he didn't play for brighton 🤣
Also as a Bohs fan, no league titles, at least one relegation and having to watch UCD win the Conference League sounds about right 🥲
Has there been a match between Bohemians from Prague and Bohemians from Dublin yet?
Yes
The video we’ve al al been waiting for
would there be anyway to get the editor data for this somewhere? as a LOI Fan this looks like a boss as hell save!

Could you do an experiment where you put the 5 best teams of south america in the premier league? Im really curious!
Funnily enough I have a similar video coming up soon, but I will certainly do this one too!
Please do north macedonia
I see that Norway have done good in these experiments could you one day try it out in the Norwegian league?

I'm really gland Gnistan won the Conference League as I'm playing a Gnistan save right now.

How do you edit tv money on fm23 (in the pre game editor) ?
Do norway's 2 highest divisinons next

Can you do that with Cyprus as well?
Yup Galway United

There's very few irish ppl in reality showing up for football that isnt Gaelic football

I am just celebrating Everton winning trophy's as I search past winners on the lists shown.
Hi Tom.Can you do a video where you give the Albanian League 1 Billion dollar TV deal?
It would be nice to see this experiment in Romania , but as I know Romanian League half of the teams will win nothing.
Interesting how Pats moved to the RDS but Cork City haven't moved to Pairc Ui Chaoimh
must have been a peasants uprising or something -_-
Do the eredivisie after this
I want to see Ireland get more than 10 European spots just for the lols
Can you do one for Slovenia?
My team and city Birmingham doin bits. ! [never gonna happen we are garbage]
Man U win champions league 7 times in 9 years
Can you do it for the UAE adnoc league please? ❤
Yes! Love these
That Birmingham dig was unnecessary 😂

UCD wouldn’t make a new stadium as they are a college
When will you give Portugal?
