I stole a neem plant few months ago as it was dying. I water a little amount everyday and more less in the evening... The tree is about 5 or 6cm now. So, is my plant not healthy enough? (I give it fresh water but it doesnt get sunlight much as there is no space to keep it)
@@wilddraveik55 Put it in a bright and warm location . The plant will grow very slowly in the first year. Do not water too much. Water only when top 1 inch soil gets dry. Good luck.
@@GardenTricks thank you so much! In our area, it's still rainy so I don't think keeping my plant outside would be safe as it will gain excessive water. After its winter in our area, I will try to keep it a bit in shade.
@@wilddraveik55 Time will be critical until next summer. If you keep it indoors during winter, then do not put in area where heater is on, excessive dry air may harm it. When I grew neem from seed, it was beginning of winter here, so I had to keep it moving outdoors in sun during day a.d then indoors during night.

Sydney. Yes, you can grow it in Melbourne also with care during winter.

Which month is best to prune neem tree,I have one growing from seed now it's one and a half feet.
You can prune at any time, but prune in late winter, so that new growth will emerge in Spring.
