OH MY GOD! Thank you so much for this, I was there! I drove over from Wigan with a car ful of mates, the guys wer ekind enough to sign my vinyl records which I still have. This was a GREAT gig!

Cheers for uploading this.. Loved Xentrix from '89 but at school and not allowed to go to gigs far from home... didn't see them til '92...

And there's COUNTLESS amounts of thrash/metal bands that were criminally underrated at the time... So many sick bands that didn't quite get the attention of the the Metallicas, slayers, testaments etc etc if the world...
Bands that diehard headbangers knew due to constantly being on the hunt for all the thrash/death/metal we could get our hands on!! ..... Bands like Xentrix, Devastation, Intruder, Prong, rigor Mortis etc etc etc etc etc , were all grinding away and bringing us allllll the sick metal songs ! Thrash rules 4evr🤘🤘

@@theesweetscience2084 Devastation’s “Idolatry” is one of the best thrash albums ever. Absolutely punishing on all fronts. It’s still very underrated and doesn’t get the praise it truly deserves. If you haven’t heard it, which you probably have, check it out.
