Interesting enough, the Autobot and Decepticon soldiers and shot gunners and other shit have the same body’s as characters in the game. These Kaon Soldiers have Onslaught’s body, so they must Transform into his truck alt mode...
I'm a TRansformers fan and I must say after watching the gameplay of Fall of Cybertron and seeing the various Autobot and Decepticon units, there is just no freaking way they would be taken out by small military machine guns and AC-130 shells in Bayformers. Just my opinion

Since the dinobots die in this game, I think this related to the g1, when the autobots went to earth they created the dinobots in memory of the dead Dinobots in this game. Basically these dinobots in the game get replaced by earth based transformers g1 dinobots. My theory.

Shockwave kidnaps Grimlock and his team in the Sea of Rust, as Chapters 4 & 5 reveal through Cliffjumper and Jazz, and then it’s revealed later in Chapters 11 & 12 of the game that Shockwave is the one who redesigned Grimlock and his team, just then turning them into the Dinobots. Then no further contact is made between the soon to be Dinobots and any other Autobot until the Slag (Slug) notifies Optimus. And even there, all Optimus talks about is the Shockwave’s Space Bridge, and only to Grimlock. Much less, in the episode of G1 when the Dinobots were built, the Autobots don’t even have a clue what the word ‘dinosaur’ means until Spike and Sparkplug explain it to them. It’s also important to note that this game as a whole isn’t compatible as being apart of the G1 universe at all as the games simply have too many differences, missing pieces between one another, and even contradicting information between themselves. Also, there’s no hint given that all of the Dinobots die in the game. While it’s explicitly shown that Sludge dies, Slag, Snarl, and Swoop are all a safe distance away from the Space Bridge explosion, which only Grimlock was caught in. It’s important to note that the game never shows the explosion kill Grimlock, just that he was caught in it. You should also consider the fact that Hasbro likes to push that this game is part of the Prime universe. And while I have no problem with this game being a sort of predecessor to Prime (a really good show), it does become problematic when you consider Robots in Disguise (RID). That show has Grimlock in it, and while the two characters don’t even come close to matching up, Hasbro still likes to say they do. According to Hasbro, Grimlock lived and this game is not a prequel to the original Transformers series, but rather a predecessor to Prime. So, yeah. That theory doesn’t really work out.
Not to mention Silverbolt and Air Raid, who in G1 were created after the reawakening millennia after. Or Metroplex and Trypticon. No, as entertaining as the idea is, it doesn't fit with G1

No, I am not stuck in the past. I welcome new revisions to it. In fact, Beast Wars and Animated are my 2 second faves of the franchise, even if it got menotinus and a little preachy with the sequal to Beast Wars, Beast Machines. And even with as crappy as Armada may be, there's still more epicness to it than all of the bayformer movies combined. Starscreams death in that series. Need I say more? He had more character alone in Armada those from any of the bayformer movies. And that, kid,
Actually, the franchise was doing fine without the baformer movies, and will still be great games to play thanks to the Transformers Prime series, which from what I read from various commentors, are prequals to the series. And with other lesser shows such as Armada and Animated, (which, inspite of it's cheesiness, still holds a soft spot in my heart), the games would still have done just as well. Not to mention the return to the revamped familiars of the originals was a welcomed refesher.
