Completely agree without going any further with dents in side door, these are commmercial vehicles & hard work is the name of the game. Looking on Autotrader and elsewhere this is probably worth somewhere between £10,000 and £12,000, I found a 14 plate at £9597 plus VAT and 18 plates from north of £17500 plus VAT, reality is that they got it for peanuts really.

Not sure if already mentioned but your example of the "mileage correction" on the Merc is clearly a case of the car failing its MOT, then getting a retest the same month and the MOT tester accidently putting in 133k instead of a 113k, it would be near impossible for the car to have done 20,000 in one month (August 2020 as shown in the video) so its not been clocked, just a simple typo come MOT time
Maybe 10k where you are, I just bought a 17 plate trend model for 12.5k in Manchester, but everyone is scrambling to get 17 plates onwards because of the clean air charge that's coming in soon.
If they can has been stood for two years those tyres will be first spotted. Can't believe the tyre fitter swapped the direction of the tyres by putting the right on the left, as they rotate the tread flattens with the road (like how a carpet flattens). By swapping the direction is a bit like back coming hair upright. They will wear more quickly. Not actually allowed to do by garages here in Germany. As ever great content videos though 👍👍
Love the Transit I have a 2008 mid roof great to drive has around 230 th kms on the clock. its a hitop you have. Vehicles in the Uk are so many, we see none of certain types like the smaller vand that run about your roads. I want to get a kit for my van like the monsoon and the wind deflector on the bonnet and a sunscreen visor however I think they would be broken by the time they got to New Zealand. Love your videos

Good van these I have one. That one is the L3H3 some people have said it's the H2 it's not that's the H3 it's the shorter of the LWB sizes on the van the L2 is the MWB size in this van.

That is another bread and butter deal, there was some tiring work to get it fetched, but more than worth the effort to buy it into the business. I wonder if my guess on the price will be anywhere near right. At least you know this was not a fire sale or dodging an expected fault disposal. It is as near a genuine sale as can be, it has come straight out of a work role, been parked and is now made ready to be sold. Your business should do well out of it, you earn the return you make. I bet fetching the other two via even trade haulage, will be less cost-effective, even allowing for your time
Yes they drive those transits lot more better than the old style I driven one for over 4 years 16 seater bus they are very nippy and yes great on fuel great for what 5 years old and something

Have you tried Shiply for getting the other vans back? I had someone collect a van door in Essex and bring it Carlisle for £65, couldn't fault the service.
Hear some right horror stories about shipley. No real way of verifying who a lot of the people on there are. Shipley don't accept any liability if the cars go missing.

Rob just a quick one. Love all of your videos. On the MOT sheet it said near side and offside front tyre issues, but then in the video you only focussed on both offside tyres front and rear, not the near side front. Just wondered why that was?

Is it worth looking at a trailer now? The new towing laws would allow you to tow 3.5t in a suitable vehicle. I’d imagine that Mk7 transit would pull a trailer and Mercedes no problem.

But saying that I once was so far south that when I was heading for Ashford, the sign said Ashford and the North. Ashford is almost 300 miles south of where I live and that’s only the North West of England. I consider Cumberland/Northumberland to be the North.

Transit custom L2 H2 on 2016 are around 12k looks a great van just need to find out if it’s had all the recalls 🤔
